18/08/2024: Beautiful tasting experience in a "loose" farmhouse in the countryside. Very suggestive and well-maintained external environment. Tasting menu 35 euros (excluding drinks) with 3 starters, 1 first course, 1 second course and a dessert, all a surprise and for me all gluten free: Eggplant and wild boar meatball, delicious Very good tartare Spectacular egg with black truffle Pasta with stracchino courgette pesto and Tropea onion - good Pork belly with chianti reduction and fry very good For sweet coconut tiramisu while for me a delicious Chantilly cream with apple and coconut A good 🍷 Chef Giuseppe. Very nice and professional Impeccable service Excellent experience

02/08/2024: What a delicious meal we had here! There is no real menu. There is only the 5- or 6-course menu put together by chef Guiseppe. Before the first course, we were politely asked about allergies or dietary requirements. The very friendly waitress, who spoke excellent English, also indicated that a course can be adjusted if you do not like something. We had a 6-course dinner for which we paid 35 euros per person. The price-quality ratio is exceptional! The chef's creations were truly delicious! With each course a nice explanation of what you are being served. There is also an extensive wine list with beautiful bottles for a reasonable price. After dinner we had coffee/tea with a grappa or rum on the house. All this in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. In short, if you want to be wonderfully surprised for little money, then this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

27/07/2024: Apart from the hotel itself, the food of the restaurant is unexpectedly well cooked with various selection of local Toscana ingredients!! Very delicious and definitely recommended.

21/07/2024: What about this place… We've been going there for a few years now and it's simply our favorite place. The most beautiful place where we would have liked to get married and the one that absolutely made our wedding so perfect! Verreno is a magical place, immersed in the hills and greenery of Tuscany, but what is absolutely captivating is the cuisine of Chef Marialuisa Lovari whose dishes are true works of art! When we had to choose the location of our wedding (and ceremony), we had no doubts about what to choose. Marialuisa advised us and followed us step by step, she satisfied all our requests and we felt truly welcomed and pampered by all the wonderful staff! An aperitif that left us speechless with the quantity and variety of dishes, and dinner with impeccable and attentive service! The cake was also a wonderful surprise, wonderful and delicious! Furthermore, we and some of the guests also stayed at the Verreno, and the suites were also amazing, spacious, bright and complete with every comfort! Thank you for making us experience a day we will never forget! ❤️

20/07/2024: What a perfect hotel. Friendly, family-run hotel with fantastic cuisine. We were on our bikes (Reitsma route) and were allowed to store them in the garage. Furthermore, only praise for the hospitality.

19/07/2024: If a trip to the 60s tempts you then this place is for you. Hotel in a peaceful location. A great, very friendly welcome. Very clean room. The restaurant is not to be missed, simple and tasty cuisine, local products and everything is homemade.

05/07/2024: It's worth visiting this inconspicuous place, great antipasti, great pizza and burgers, friendly service, and most importantly, it's open from 5 p.m. which is very rare. Bravo, go and eat from there everyone.

26/08/2024: Abbiamo prenotato consigliati da amici, che ce lo hanno segnalato come il miglior ristorante di pesce di Arezzo. Devo dire che avevano ragione. Veramente una bella esperienza: fin dal momento della prenotazione telefonica si percepisce un’attenzione smisurata per il cliente. Locale ben tenuto in tutti i suoi particolari (molto elegante l’apparecchiatura). La cosa che comunque fa la differenza è il cibo: scelta delle materie prime, abbinamenti (con frutta) e presentazione. Tutto veramente buono.

18/08/2024: A very nice discovery. Mastered cuisine, well-sourced products, both in terms of dishes and wine. The welcome was very warm. This is the best restaurant we had in Tuscany.

02/08/2024: In one word, great Tuscan regional dishes, a nice ambiance, you really have to experience this, only discovered by a few, only locals who eat here and that says something!! Recommended if you want something different!!

21/08/2024: We loved our dinner here! They treated us to complimentary sparkling wine, a delicious “capiccino salato” that had ricotta and a squash sauce, moscato with our dessert, and limoncello. That would have been excellent value even without a great meal, but the food was delicious. The porcini soufflé might have been the best thing we’ve had in Italy and both the Pici cinta senese and tagliatelle with goose were terrific. The flaming chocolate ball dessert was a delightful cap to the evening, and we loved our waiters and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Highly recommend!

12/08/2024: We selected this place as the menu was interesting and reasonable. The waitress was friendly and quick to take our order everything after that was poor to average. There were plenty of staff but service was very slow, even had to ask twice for the bill. They kept setting up tables for more customers rather than deal with the ones they had. I had a bruschetta to start which was a large portion and tasty. My partners croquette arrived 10 minutes later and stone cold so it was very hit and miss.

11/08/2024: I have been travelling for three weeks in Tuscany and Umbria, went to local restaurants every day and this is the only time I woke up with digestion issues. Bruschette were topped with industrial stuff, side beans were from a can,… disappointing as the place is quite well arranged.
