09/09/2025: Adorable! And Delicious. This little spot was such a gem we stumbled upon. The husband wife couple running the place are so cute. The lasagne was to die for. Their menu had some fun options. We were so grateful to find this place while wandering the town.

08/08/2025: The young man who works there as a bartender and the girl in the kitchen are really nice and kind. The food is good and well-prepared. The owner is not at all empathetic and not very cheerful. She's the only one who gets a thumbs up.

22/09/2025: We had a great time at this roadside restaurant, which doesn't look like much at first glance. We were the only women there, along with the waitress (adorable and very helpful, who bent over backwards to find a dish that suited my intolerances), and we could tell the men there were amused to see us, tourists, a little "lost" in this small restaurant full of regulars. The food was delicious, plentiful, and fresh, the atmosphere very rustic and authentic, and the bill surprised us: €21 for two dishes, a huge mixed salad for two people, a beer, a bottle of water, and cutlery. I highly recommend it 🙌🏻

20/09/2025: Historic trattoria in Gello. Excellent for a quick business lunch. Good food, fast service, extensive menu on the legendary blackboard, fair prices, and... What can I say? A classic if you're in the area. A true trattoria. You can tell by the people who have been coming here forever. I've stopped there often over the years. They're always good.

03/10/2025: We spent 4 nights at your excellent campsite. The welcome was very warm, the toilets were very clean, and there was a good restaurant and pizzeria. We'll be back.

03/10/2025: Not a bad campsite in itself. You should definitely reserve in advance. The pitches might be a bit tight, but if you know your car, it's fine. The many trees offer plenty of shade. You'll receive a friendly welcome, especially the woman in the evenings who was very accommodating. Electricity costs about €4 extra per day, but cell phones can be left at reception for charging. If you want to use Wi-Fi, you'll have to pay a lot; a higher data plan would definitely be better. We didn't use the pool or wellness area, but you don't have to wear swimming caps, which is quite common here. The restaurant is also really good; you get very tasty food for little money, and the coffee and other drinks are also excellent. The furniture is a bit old, so you're likely to bump into a tabletop every now and then. The chairs are rather uncomfortable. The supermarket has a small but sufficient, sometimes rather expensive, selection. The site is quite family-friendly, so many children were there during their holidays. Now for the worst part: the restrooms. I can live with the fact that the building isn't the most modern; I've seen others that have that. There are definitely proper toilets and toilet paper. Clean? Well. At first glance, yes. With how often the cleaning staff are there, you'd assume everything is sparkling clean. Unfortunately, this isn't necessarily the case. Hair in the sink, on the floors, and in the shower. A squashed mosquito was stuck to the wall of one toilet for three days. Often it smells so horribly of rotten drains that it almost makes you vomit. I don't know if that's healthy. The fixtures are not only terribly calcified and worn, but also covered in black mold. That was truly the most disgusting thing I've ever seen at a campsite. As soon as more than two people are showering, the water temperature drops noticeably. Considering that the campsite isn't cheap and was full, at least on our trip, you'd think they could spend a bit of money on improvements.

20/09/2025: A 10 overall!! Excellent food, a traditional and welcoming place, and a top-notch owner! The mixed crostini were excellent! The mushroom one was truly special… Pici with ragù were flavorful and creamy! The peposo (beef stew) was so tender, you didn't even need a knife! The roast potatoes were phenomenal, too. The house wine and complimentary amaro accompanied everything. The cantucci with vin santo also deserved praise!

12/09/2025: Excellent dinner. Wild boar and rabbit, cooked according to Tuscan tradition. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

28/09/2025: My wife and I used to come here when we were engaged, and nothing has changed: the same atmosphere, the same (excellent) dishes, the same Labronic character, which has been passed down for generations! Why change?

27/09/2025: This is the best place to have seafood in Livorno. Hidden in a small dead-end street one enters a wonderfully oldfashioned guestroom full of memorabilia and authentic maritime-décor. The menu is specialized on fish and seafood. The service was also quick and friendly. Highly recommendable.

It's the perfect place for those seeking a relaxing evening, immersed in the beauty of the village and surrounded by inviting aromas. The cuisine is a celebration of tradition, yet with a touch of elegance. Handmade pasta, local and seasonal ingredients, dishes tastefully presented and, above all, flavorful and well-balanced. The main courses are surprising in their delicacy and intensity, while the desserts make you want to order another one right away. The service is attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. You can clearly sense the passion of those who work here, and their desire to offer not just a meal, but a memorable experience. The wine list is extensive, with many beautiful Tuscan labels, including carefully selected wines by the glass. A must-have for anyone visiting the Val d'Orcia and wanting to enjoy authentic Tuscan cuisine in an authentic and refined setting. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfectly in tune with the medieval charm of the village. The outdoor garden is simply enchanting, perfect for a romantic dinner. The food? Extraordinary. From the handmade pasta, to the delicate and flavorful main courses, to the desserts that seem to have come straight from a family recipe book. Each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients and with a care that is evident at first bite. All accompanied by an extensive wine list, featuring select local labels. The service was impeccable: courteous, attentive, and always smiling. You can sense the love for the region and the authentic hospitality. Being guests at Relais Palazzo del Capitano made everything even more special: it was like living, for a few days, in a Tuscan dream. The experience is complete, harmonious, and profoundly authentic.
