It was a challenge to get a table here - book well in advance especially for weekends. Was worth the planning though - lovely family atmosphere, wonderful food and great for Beautiful views of the sea and so picturesque.

The restaurant is still top-notch, even after years and years... everything is perfect. Superb appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts, served and prepared by Lode. Little to say about the location, especially in spring (with the Ausonia beach closed), you're practically eating by the sea.

11/07/2026: From the reviews, we expected much more: a family-run restaurant with a few unpretentious dishes. The bill was a bit steep! Forty euros per person, including two main courses and a shared appetizer...
09/07/2026: A wonderful culinary discovery in Chiavari, nestled in a quiet corner of the seafront promenade... excellent dishes with some innovation, featuring super-fresh fish, a good wine list, and fantastic service! My only suggestion, which doesn't detract from the rating, is that the portions in general could be slightly more generous, but it wasn't a problem. Thank you.

We celebrated my mother's 93rd birthday there, and everything was perfect. Thanks to the owner, who was especially available to accommodate all our requests. I highly recommend it! <>
