12/10/2025: TUSCANY Perfect lunch with authentic Tuscan flavors and warmth: traditional bruschetta with chicken livers and phenomenal polenta with mushrooms. Very tasty first courses, tordelli with truffles and pappardella with wild boar. To finish, a truly exquisite Fiorentina steak.

11/10/2025: We had a great experience at this restaurant on our first visit to Florence 10 years ago. We decided to return, which was a terrible idea. It was 8:15 PM and we didn't have a reservation, but the customer service representative told us we'd have to wait about 30 minutes for a table. We agreed, as we really wanted to repeat the experience we'd had in the past. We went for a walk and returned after 20 minutes. We waited the agreed-upon time and asked again about the table. This time, we were told we'd have to wait another 10 minutes. That was fine. We sat in the chairs right in front of the restaurant, waiting to be called. To our surprise, several people who also didn't have a reservation arrived at the restaurant and were quickly welcomed and seated, including a group of about 10 people. There were three of us, and we really didn't understand why we weren't called. Until, after an hour of waiting and seeing another group of four people without a reservation easily get a table, we lost our patience and went to the man serving customers. He simply said he hadn't called us because he hadn't seen us, even though we'd been sitting at the front of the restaurant for over 40 minutes! And he even had the audacity to offer us the worst table in the restaurant for dinner. Even tired and with headphones on, we found what happened incredibly disrespectful and decided to look for another restaurant in Florence. Terrible service! It was a shame, because this negative experience simply ruined the good memories we had of this restaurant. Never to return!

13/08/2025: The best gastronomy for miles around. Variety, quality, courtesy. Everything is delicious, from the food to the relationships you build with the staff and the wonderful owners. I've been going there for many years, and the products and attention to detail are always top-notch. You can also order for a dinner at home with lots of guests, and even sit at the lovely tables outside!

06/08/2025: I work a few steps from here and I had never been there, but what a pleasant discovery... excellent food and one thing that left me amazed (positively) was the extreme kindness of the staff, something RARE to find lately.... you are professional people you deserve so much.

02/08/2025: Entirely forgettable pumpkin soup, instead of "cream of mushrooms and truffles" we got some tartufata from a supermarket, cold roast beef (as a main dish), tiny side dishes, no plates for couverts (i.e. dry bread). Truly disappointing, particularly given the reviews.

04/10/2025: We found this restaurant by chance (what luck in another country and immediately finding a good restaurant is not easy) and we had dinner three nights in a row and we are really sorry we had to leave but we will definitely recommend it to our friends who will be coming.

04/10/2025: Came here for the Bistecca and was not disappointed - sizeable portion of steak, followed by some good wine and dessert. Good service as well. If you plan on visiting, be sure to make a reservation, as the restaurant can be near full-capacity even on weekday nights.

07/08/2025: The place is a bit small, seating for about forty people at most. And unfortunately, no air conditioning. But otherwise, everything was great. A classic Florentine osteria, run by a friendly host who goes out of his way to please you and make you feel comfortable. The dishes are excellent; we had roast beef and some pasta dishes, and everything was to our liking. The prices are fair, in proportion to the quality. The quantities are good. Well done... just a curiosity... but who's the deaf guy? Because the host could hear us perfectly well...

27/07/2025: A simple pizzeria with an outdoor terrace, located in the center of Ceciliano. Good pizza. Friendly and helpful staff.

22/09/2025: Had lunch here on the advice of a local. House wine (red and white) was great. Ordered pasta carbonara with truffles-there was probably an inch of ruffles shaved on top-could smell it coming out of the kitchen. The Tuscan tomato porridge was delicious, carbonara and ragù were all great too. The special of white beans in a tomato sauce with sausage was also amazing. Highly recommend.

16/09/2025: August 14, 2025 FYI: The friendly staff at La Lucciola allowed us to peacefully enjoy a delicious cappuccino with a view of the bay. THANK YOU! (The food on offer looked good, but we didn't try it.) It's right that the tables have to be set for regular beach guests before lunchtime. Please note that the facilities (showers, changing rooms, sunbeds, and umbrellas) are reserved for part of the holiday season.

10/09/2025: On September 9th, we had lunch with nine people. The food was truly delicious, well-cooked, and the service was excellent. The wait staff was attentive. Oddly enough, and I'd say very fortunately, perhaps due to bad weather forecasts, we had the restaurant all to ourselves (a rare occurrence). Thank you.

13/09/2025: We were in this grill restaurant just this evening and we were very happy with both the good food and the kindness of the staff and the owner. The meat and cured meats are FANTASTIC, not to mention the desserts. I RECOMMEND IT TO ALL OF US. WE WILL RETURN TO VIAREGGIO JUST TO COME AND EAT AT YOUR PLACE.

08/09/2025: The appetizers are good, the fillet steak with caramelized onions is excellent, the meat is very tender. When you want to break away from the usual fish dishes, this is worth it.
