22/09/2025: Nice, spacious, rustic place. The pizza was too thin, it was a thin sheet of pastry, well-filled. The waitress who served us wasn't exactly kind, her responses were cold and hasty, a bit crude. I don't think I'll be back.

13/09/2025: I wanted to like this restaurant but I felt forgotten about. The ambiance was beautiful and seemed very posh, but my wine was never offered a refill and we were not offered secondi despite indicating we would like to order more. The worst offense (my warning to others) was my €50 reservation charge was not automatically deducted to the bill until I asked. Seemed like not an honest mistake and they were banking on folks not remembering that charge. That really upset me!

23/08/2025: Beware. Do not make a reservation because you will be charged the deposit AND the cost of your meal. The staff was rude, the restaurant was almost empty and our food was just OK. Americans beware.

26/08/2025: In the past, it was a Trattoria... Today, it calls itself a Ristorante. It had been about ten years since I had been back, and I was a little disappointed. In the past, we would arrive in a group, be seated and then asked if we had I PRIMI, then I SECONDI, then LA CARNE, il VINO... We were brought an assortment of each, each time, which allowed us to taste a little of all the dishes... At the end, we were brought the bill. Even if the garden is still as welcoming, from now on, each dish is identified and has a price, the quality is adequate but nothing more, and all this makes the experience less satisfying than in the past and I do not think I will return there during my next stay. I miss the past where I had several memorable dinners.

27/08/2025: A simple and welcoming place, with a family-like atmosphere. We ate really well, and I recommend it to anyone passing through Grosseto. It's one of those places I'll never forget! Highly recommended.

02/09/2025: I'm staying in the area and chose this place based on reviews. I made a reservation, and it's best to do so. It's just off the main square of this beautiful village. The location is very quaint, both inside and out. The welcome is friendly, but a bit touristy. The traditional Tuscan dishes are well-executed, with modest portions. The traditional onion soup, which isn't on the menu, is very good. If you're passing through Casale, it's definitely an option worth considering.

30/07/2025: We offered our son a cooking class, and we all attended. It was an excellent experience! We received such warm welcome, advice, and support. The class was perfect, and the meal was delicious! The wine was good and the price was more than reasonable! The two owners are lovely... And the setting is magnificent! I highly recommend this experience! Thank you so much!!!

Traveling with our 18-month-old and pregnant wife can sometimes make dining out a bit tricky, but the staff here went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were kind, accommodating, and genuinely thoughtful — making space for us, engaging warmly with our toddler, and ensuring everything was just right. The food and drinks were equally amazing — beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell this place is run with heart. 13/10/2025: After many years, Roberto, my father, returned to the Elvetico bar with friends and was pleasantly surprised by the significant change in the atmosphere: more functional, with new furnishings, tidy, clean, and elegant. The young owner offered a warm welcome, courteous and generous in preparing a delicious aperitif. He will definitely return to try the ravioli, which, he was assured, are hand-crafted using local ingredients. Not to forget a warm Clementi cinchona as a pleasant and excellent digestif.

05/10/2025: On the SS della Futa, not far from Barberino, lies a trattoria just as Emilians dream: a vast selection of red wines and a steak you'll never forget.

11/09/2025: A very beautiful country house nestled in the quiet hills. We had a wonderful room, which had a pleasant ambiance thanks to some lovely antique pieces, such as small chests as bedside tables and a historic folding screen as the headboard. A very comfortable bed, a large bathroom, and a balcony with a view of the countryside – a great place to relax. A very good restaurant, a lovely breakfast buffet, and super friendly staff rounded off the positive stay. We actually ended up here by chance because of a misunderstanding with our reservation at a small agriturismo nearby (thanks to Julia from La Vecchia Cascina for calling around to find us a room), and we were immediately given a very warm welcome. Don't let the somewhat rustic access road put you off; it's worth the trip :)

10/09/2025: We weren't actually staying at the hotel, but were there for three days of dining and drinking at a wedding. The location is a bit out of the way and difficult to reach without your own car (but you can book a taxi well in advance). The food was incredibly delicious, and the wedding was beautifully planned by the hotel. The pool looks amazing, and the prosecco is delicious! We also took a look at our friends' rooms there, and they look beautiful.

19/09/2025: A welcoming restaurant with lots of colors, fine wines, top-notch meat, top-notch service, a very kind and smiling waiter, fair prices, obviously quality has its value, and finally that Neapolitan touch that underlines the five STARS...

01/10/2025: It was a very positive experience during a pleasant motorcycle ride with friends in the Lunigiana/Garfagnana Apennines. We were welcomed, hosted, and generously fed with warmth and friendliness by the owners, Cristina and her husband. I will gladly return and recommend it to anyone interested.

22/08/2025: Currently living in florence this is my favorite go to drink spot. They are the only place in Florence with coconut spritz and they are life changingly delicious go get one now!!!!

07/08/2025: We stopped here for a drink to get some respite from all the tourist walking! We weren’t disappointed, friendly service with lovely drinks. Excellent view of Santa Croce and great for people watching. Would recommend 🥰

19/09/2025: Having discovered them a few days after they opened, we returned for the umpteenth time a few days before they closed. There wasn't a single time things went poorly; the staff were friendly, approachable, and offered a selection of wines that weren't among the top labels but were excellent quality and priced.
