12/07/2025: A true Tuscan osteria, excellent red platter, amazing wild boar pici, Paolo, the owner, a true Tuscan, a true immersion in local culture. Fair prices.

03/07/2025: The quality of the food is beyond discussion, I had a cutting board and a plate of pici with duck ragù and they were exceptional. The seriousness of a restaurant can also be seen from things like fresh homemade basil pesto, hospitality and courtesy despite the place being very informal. I personally am from the Florence area and was there for work, but if I were a tourist looking for authentic food I would definitely look for a place like this. I will definitely return.

08/08/2025: Had a divine lunch with a spectacular view. Excellent food, top-notch service. Then we spent the afternoon on the beach... top-notch service with awnings, loungers, beach towels, pillows... private shower. Wonderful saltwater pool.

20/07/2025: Nice and clean location, very beautiful flowers outside, a little less nice the plastic tables, average dishes in my opinion, fresh fish, of course it would be better to debone it but everyone in their own place serves it as they prefer, pasta second too salty, but even in this case everyone serves it in their own way, pizza too heavy we were unable to finish it, efficient and kind staff, I'm sorry to say that I agree with various reviews I've read, I agree that the owner's attitude (I presume?) penalizes the place a lot, quite rude

09/07/2025: Excellent restaurant, a 5-minute walk from the historic San Quirico winery. The meat is good quality and the pasta dishes are excellent. I recommend expanding the wine list with smaller, reasonably priced wineries.

05/07/2025: Fonte alla Vena didn’t quite live up to expectations. The food was just okay — the tartare was bland, and the pork ribs were so charred they tasted grainy. One of our sides never arrived, and the bread was stale. Service was fine, but overall the experience felt underwhelming. There are definitely better options nearby.

19/07/2025: The Locanda offers typical Lucchese dishes, so I recommend it to anyone traveling and stopping in Lucca. Just outside the walls of Lucca, you can easily access the city center by car. Parking is easy in front of the restaurant. I would also recommend it to locals, though. The dishes are very carefully prepared with fresh, delicious ingredients. I highly recommend it.

18/07/2025: Italian comfort food done right. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, the service the best I’ve had in Italy, and the food is outrageously good. And if you don’t get the torta della nonna, you aren’t doing it right.

31/07/2025: Locale carinissimo, ben curato. Il proprietario e' una persona affabile, disponibile, con una immensa cultura culinario, trasmetta ai commensali la sua passione per il cibo locale. Piatti della vera tradizione toscana, eseguiti in modo eccellente. La ribollita fredda e' strepitosa, così come il lampredotto. Buona carta dei vini. Vasto assortimento di formaggi e salumi locali anche da acquistare. Un plus e' il caffè , servito con dolcetti. Conglistissimo

18/07/2025: Our mouths were watering right from the moment we read the menu! It was a pleasant dinner with flavors that were a departure from the classic Tuscan fare, and I, being Tuscan, really appreciated it. There were two of us and we chose fish... An excellent selection of flavorful, well-balanced dishes, beautifully presented. The service was excellent and the prices were more than fair... We'll definitely be back.

22/06/2025: Wonderful experience!! Wonderful visit to the winery with a detailed description of the viticultural differences of the Chianti valley and the wines of the group in general. Then we tasted 4 excellent wines, including a truly unique white and reserve, and a cutting board with bread and oil from the area. We also bought a wine from the tasting! An experience that we promise to repeat and recommend to everyone! A suggestion: please, open the restaurant too!! We'll book now!!

10/06/2025: Julia provided an unforgettable experience. We happened upon Vitique whilst driving through to Firenze, and she accommodated us without skipping a beat. Knowledgable, funny and incredibly passionate, this tour and tasting was incredible. We will certainly be stopping by if we are ever in Tuscany again! Thank you!

13/07/2025: After a long time, we decided to go, thanks in part to numerous requests from friends to try it! A truly perfect choice, a casual place, one of those spartan ones I love so much. We ate divinely. The pici with porcini mushrooms and vogole were excellent, but the ones with seafood carnonara were even better. The price/quality ratio was more than fair, given the quality of the ingredients.

25/07/2025: Had a lovely meal close to the leaning tower but not a tourist hotspot so it was lovely and peaceful for a meal. The wine was great and very reasonably priced and the food was also fantastic. The staff were great especially with our 1 year old baby.
