20/06/2025: Small and nice restaurant. A cheese board to share as a starter and a delicious entrecote with mashed potatoes as a main course. It seemed very meager but it certainly wasn't. The flavours of the entrecote and the mashed potatoes were very well matched. The host had a good knowledge of wines and the wine we had chosen matched it perfectly.

27/05/2025: SoSô è un posto raffinato ed elegante,i proprietari e lo staff gentilissimi sin dal momento della prenotazione. I piatti sono stati sorprendenti,sia come presentazione che come sapori,ogni dettaglio è curato con attenzione,il tutto accompagnato da dell'ottimo vino. Ci torneremo assolutamente per scoprire altre prelibatezze e vini ma anche per ritrovare quell'ambiente così accogliente ed efficente. CONSIGLIATISSIMO 🔝

01/06/2025: When I was a kid (40 years ago) I knew it as the Montemurro pastry shop and it had the best croissants in the area. After many years, many bars, many coffees and croissants I returned out of curiosity. The name has changed (DN Bar), the croissants are not the exceptional ones they once were but they are of a good quality (the best in a 4 block radius), the decor is partly the same as 40 years ago, the coffee is good but what positively shocked me is the price of coffee and croissants stuck at 1 Euro (and we are talking about good quality and table service) It's incredible. Well done. I often go to Bari and I will return here.

23/07/2025: Excellent value for money. Welcoming place and friendly staff. From appetizers to dessert, everything was delicious. The friggitelli peppers and the gratin mussels were particularly popular. We'll definitely be back.

21/07/2025: Recommended. Friendly and helpful staff, very good food. The housekeeping staff was generous and tasty. We went to try the assassina, and it was worth it; very good (slightly spicy, as it should be). Fairly priced (the appetizer was €15, which was enough for two).

04/07/2025: Very beautiful location, cared for in every single detail. Well-spaced tables that allow you to converse in peace. We chose the "Tra le tue mani" option that allowed us to choose an appetizer, a first course and a second course à la carte, while the choice of pre-dessert and dessert was left to the chef. We were lovingly pampered with a fantastic welcome. As an appetizer we tasted Rice, potatoes and mussels with our eyes closed, an incredible reinterpretation of the typical local dish. Unforgettable!!! Followed by the risotto fcazz e birr which is inspired by the traditional Apulian focaccia... superb! And also the charcoal-grilled umbrina with salted potatoes... delicious! Pre-dessert a fig with ice cream and for dessert Bari 1930 baked ice cream... an indescribable goodness. We accompanied the dinner with an excellent Apulian rosé Cassandra. The staff in the dining room were attentive, kind, welcoming and professional. I recommend living this wonderful experience to appreciate the extraordinary work of a team of young people who, certainly, will have success and deserved recognition over time.

25/06/2025: A bit of a strange review but that's because we didn't end up eating there. The restaurant is highly rated, so we really wanted to eat there and we made a reservation in advance. It is located on a fairly busy road and the terrace outside is too, so we chose to eat inside. Before we actually got around to ordering, other guests came in with a dog. It's okay, it's dog-friendly, you know that in advance and the distance to the other tables is large. (although I personally wouldn't do it inside, it's less pleasant for other guests) but this dog couldn't be controlled by the owners! It barked very loudly incessantly and we could hardly hear each other anymore. Unfortunately nothing was done about that so the fun was over for us. We left and had lunch elsewhere. I even offered to pay for the water and the amuse (because we had eaten that and it was tasty!) but that was poured out to us.

20/06/2025: On Saturday evening, we were intrigued by the renovated location of Freestate, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Ruvo di Puglia. Welcomed by the warmth of Angelo, Gianfranco and Raffaella, masters of hospitality, we found not just a dinner, but a pleasant experience. The pizzas? True symphonies of taste: fragrant, varied, prepared with skill and selected ingredients. The staff, professional and smiling, made the evening even more enjoyable. To frame everything, a terrace overlooking a majestic square, illuminated by the magical light of the full moon. An evening that nourished the body and spirit. I recommend it and we will return, to taste new specialties ... and to feel pampered and at home once again.

16/07/2025: Spartan but delicious pizzas and panzerotti, friendly service!

13/07/2025: From the outside, it looks like a pizzeria no different from the dozens around the city. In fact, precisely because the street is dimly lit and the scaffolding for the building's renovation partially obscures the entrance, it seems uninviting. But then, once we cross the threshold, we're immediately welcomed; the lady shows us to our table with a kind, simple courtesy. Her attitude is courteous and unpretentious. She guides us through the many toppings for the fried panzerotti (I chose the ones with ricotta forte, fantastic) and the many pizzas to choose from. In short, a surprising place in and because of its simplicity. The pizzas were very, very good. The bill was in line with expectations. We paid the right price.

When there are a lot of people I recommend putting the numbering ticket outside, there are people who "unintentionally" go ahead. Girl at the ice cream counter good at making cones. Rating 4.2 All the staff are courteous. Guys it doesn't take much to improve. 🤞🏽

03/07/2025: A cult place with tradition in Monopoli. Delicious coffee and ice cream.
