18/09/2025: We came because the reviews were positive. But I don't understand why. The salad is almost entirely green salad and is served in a cardboard box... and for the octopus sandwich the bread was cold and not even toasted... it was bland. Poor value for money in my opinion.

06/04/2026: I went there because it was recommended by relatives in the area. It's an excellent seafood restaurant on the main street of Santa Maria al Bagno. I found the fish to be very fresh and well-prepared. The service was very attentive. You can eat à la carte or choose from the tasting menus. Recommended for seafood lovers. Prices are reasonable.

04/04/2026: A sophisticated restaurant located in an elegant historic residence overlooking the sea. The decor and service are meticulously crafted. Excellent food quality and exquisite presentation. This isn't our first time here, and each time is a pleasant experience. The friendliness and cleanliness are a constant. It's become a go-to for me. Parking is paid only during the summer months, and you can park on the street. We didn't have to wait because we had reserved a table.

13/04/2026: Excellent food and service. Update 2026 - We enjoyed a delicious lunch, and I complimented the chef on his potato gnocchi with scampi, yellow cherry tomatoes, and mint. Truly spectacular. 😋😋😋 I've recommended never taking this recipe off the menu. Spectacular!

04/04/2026: It was on our list of places to visit, to try, and we finally went. In my opinion, it's a wine bar with a kitchen, serving good, high-quality osteria-style cuisine. They have a large selection of wines at fair prices. The simple dishes are traditional from Puglia and Gargano. We didn't try the meat, but they did try the cod in five different versions, all excellent. The traditional country appetizers were good. The EVO oil is locally produced, and you can taste it. A very welcoming place in the historic part of town; you can't access it by car, only on foot. A very good experience, definitely worth trying again. I personally found the chickpea and turnip hummus dish very good. Very well balanced.

As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by the warmth of the exposed stone walls and the kindness of the owner. The dishes are delicious, crafted with excellent quality ingredients and respect for tradition, an explosion of authentic flavors. For lovers of fine wine, the selection is very interesting. A place where time seems to stand still, the wine flows generously, and the food warms the heart. Attentive service, smiling and never intrusive.

07/06/2026: Dough fermented for 72 hours, rolled out thinly and baked to a super crispy perfection! A huge selection of different pizza types (Classic/Buffalo/Gourmet) and toppings. Friendly and attentive service. Now in its third year in a row – consistently excellent quality! We'll definitely be back.

03/06/2026: A cornerstone of the Cavallino and surrounding gastronomy scene. I didn't know it, but an uncle who's a regular customer took us there. The place is very beautiful inside, a little crowded with furnishings, but very much in keeping with the food offerings. Lots of tradition, but not the kind sold to tourists as tradition, the true Salento tradition. I obviously had the ncannulati with strong ricotta cheese, a truly powerful aroma, but pleasant on the palate. Don't be put off, I recommend trying it. Everything else was top-notch, from the appetizers to the service. If you're near Lecce, this is a must-try.
