01/09/2024: We had the pleasure of staying in August at the Le Site farmhouse. The property features modern and tastefully furnished rooms. For those who want a break from the crowded beaches of Salento there is the possibility of relaxing in the swimming pool which is also suitable for the little ones. In addition to breakfast by the pool, it is also possible to have lunch with quick and genuine dishes all coming from their garden. The structure also has an evening restaurant where it is possible to eat in a suggestive Salento atmosphere. A fixed price menu is available with drinks not included. Worthy of mention are the starters, all homemade with excellent raw materials. Thanks to Mr. Antonio and all his staff for making us spend moments of true relaxation in this beautiful structure. A unique experience, I highly recommend this reception hall for many factors, starting from the quality of the products up to the kindness of the staff. The location is wonderful and as soon as you enter you are greeted by a great fountain which especially at night is beautiful.The tables and food are impeccable and I really appreciate the way they serve the starters in the buffet.Very satisfied

30/06/2024: Enchanting, evocative and well-maintained location...but all this is not enough. A piece of advice for future spouses who have decided to choose Villa Vergine for their wedding: GET IT IN WRITING that your event will be the only one on the day you have chosen. This way you will avoid inconveniences that are absolutely not justifiable for a structure of this level: hot aperitif served by staff who are improvised to say the least, insufficient quantity of appetizers; appetizer stands already empty before all the guests have served themselves; arrangement of tables in the dining room not in accordance with what was agreed and then, even more seriously, completely ignored, allergies, intolerances and alternative menus reported. The slightest delay in the start of the celebrations, caused by our. mishap, is not enough to justify the above. The apologies from the staff and the final discount are appreciable, but more careful organization is needed for a structure that has so many strong points such as the quality of the food. I'm sorry to have to write this review but I consider it necessary to avoid bad surprises on a day that should be perfect. Evening reception on June 22, 2024

24/08/2024: Excellent food and very suggestive location. Friendly and attentive service (we dropped the menu on the slightly wet floor due to the rain, and a new one was brought to us without us asking. They are details, but they are always a pleasure). Advised!

24/08/2024: For our last evening of holiday we chose this restaurant for a nice dinner among the alleys of Peschici. Dishes rich in fish and very tasty accompanied by good local wine. Also worth trying are the homemade desserts. Professional, friendly and nice staff in typical Apulian style, service slightly too fast. Absolutely reasonable price for a fish dinner of this magnitude.

25/08/2024: How can you go to Martina without first having dinner at Enrico's??? We don't know 😂it's now a ritual for me and my family, we follow it from the old location. The food is excellent km 0 directly from the producer to the table: from the ricotta to the typical capocollo of Martina to the meat cooked in the characteristic Martinese oven to the wood-fired pizza, even the oil is good.... The service is very fast, the food is excellent, the owner is friendly and always kind, he even accompanies you directly into the historic center with his courtesy eco-car. And where do you find a restaurant like this? Highly recommended See you next time Enrico!!

25/08/2024: Despite not having a reservation, we got a wonderful seat in the small alley for two on a Saturday evening. Appetizer and pizzas were excellent! We'd love to come back.

23/08/2024: We had called to reserve a table for 9 but were told it was not available. When we arrived in Nardò, we surprisingly noticed that many seats inside were free and so we went in to ask if we could all sit together or even split up to avoid joining too many tables. The owner, like the other employees, did not seem at all helpful in finding a solution to seat 9 people eager to try their place, in fact they told us to wait as they had to call other customers to make sure that the tables were available. I don't allow myself to judge food, service, etc., but if these are the premises, customers' curiosity to go and visit them will decrease more and more. Luckily, we went to “Cavolifiore” where they welcomed us impeccably. Despite the Cardinal's difficulties, thanks to the second venue we spent a wonderful evening, full of cocktails and excellent food!

23/08/2024: Fantastic environment with a relaxed atmosphere that puts the customer at ease, impeccable service from Irene who meets every need with tact and education, Luca on the other hand prepares spectacular dishes with flavor combinations that you won't easily find elsewhere. Also recommended for those who must eat gluten-free, they make themselves available with attention and care to the customer.

26/08/2024: Both the marinated trilogy and the glazed octopus are excellent. The fettuccine is among the best sea urchin dishes I have tried and even better are the tubettoni with fish and fennel soup full of fruit and fish and with a very tasty sauce. The tiramisu and millefeuille are also good. Quality wine list with acceptable mark-ups. Average prices for the place but competitive for the quality of the dishes.

26/08/2024: We returned here after 22 years for lunch with my family and everything was to our liking. Very kind staff, dishes with attention to detail and a very well-kept environment.

02/09/2024: Excellent pizza, light and thin dough, I tried the Amsterdam pizza and I was more than satisfied, the pizza was really full of mozzarella and stracciatella, I recommend it if you are really hungry. I'll be back to try the others 😋
