There's also a very nice waitress that speaks English fluently and therefore the place is very accessible for tourists!

14/06/2025: A slice of Puglian paradise with the soul of a poet and the heart of a healer. Francesca and her incredible team made our stay feel less like a hotel visit and more like being lovingly adopted into an impeccably run Italian family. From the moment we arrived, every detail unfolded with the kind of effortless charm that only comes from deep care and craft. The food (all grown and prepared on-site) was nothing short of divine. Think sun-ripened tomatoes that actually taste of summer, olive oil you’d consider packing in your luggage (no, really!), and dishes that are equal parts nourishing and joyful. Highly recommend the Olive Oil tasting with Francesca - she’s amazing. The spa is an oasis in itself - intimate, beautifully appointed, and unexpectedly comprehensive. A special mention for the cryofacial, which left me both chilled and glowing. Masseria Palombarra is not just a place to stay - it’s a place to exhale. If you’re after a rustic-luxury hideaway where you’re treated like family, fed like royalty, and surrounded by slow-living serenity, do yourself a favour and book it immediately.

08/06/2025: Fantastic place to relax. Great staff, atmosphere, approach. Peace, quiet, great and quality gastronomy. The hotel has maintained its authenticity and the rooms are designed to be 100% private.

07/04/2025: What a nice surprise! We came to this establishment to find an Italian soul, and it must be said it was really perfect. Pizza, magnificent, extremely kind staff, the boss even gave us olive bread, even though we hadn't asked for anything. A superb place that I really recommend!!.

22/06/2025: Restaurant discovered thanks to the reviews online. Very kind staff and neat location ... so far so good but with the arrival of the dishes, the story changed .. fish not fresh and first courses completely tasteless .. I was afraid I might feel sick! To make matters worse was the bill .. exorbitant for the quality. Not to be returned.

16/06/2025: On our bike trip through the Tuscan hills we decided to stop by Panzano specifically for the renowned butcher's shop. Treated like dogs.. we were told that we were disgusting just because we were sweaty.. (it was 39 degrees) I already had the impression that it was a place that catches foreign tourists to get as much money as possible.. now I can confirm it. Tuscan friendliness and cordiality completely forgotten.. If we had had a full wallet we would certainly have been treated differently.. A Disgust! (Said in Tuscany eh)

01/07/2025: Risotto ai ricci inedible (28€), it seemed to be made with cheese and non-existent sea urchins. Starters with low quality fish. Slow service… nothing like the previous times.

01/07/2025: Unpleasant surprise, I sat at the table of this restaurant for lunch, I ordered a cut and a salad, a waiter comes to serve me and after 10 minutes exchanges a few words with me asking me where I came from, I tell him with great serenity that I was a waiter and that I worked at a restaurant a few meters from them, precisely the Altamarea restaurant. Even though I had said which restaurant it was, the same waiter started to speak badly of it, of the place of the food and of the owner and with great great ease. I asked him where he was from and instead he continued to speak badly of the restaurant where I work and in the presence of other customers at the tables. In the end I asked him who the owner was without letting him know that I would go to him to contest this behavior and the same waiter said that his owner is also not a good card because he is not from Giovinazzo... in the end I asked the same thing to a waitress who politely confirmed who the owner was, after which I got up from the table and went to the owner to pay the bill. Even after having told him everything I noticed a certain superficiality in solving the problem. But the thing I wonder is: where is all this professionalism that you show? Speaking badly of a colleague of yours nearby? You are from Giovinazzo and you feel you have the right to speak badly of others? Don't you notice that you are isolated from the world? That not even the smallest part of tourists come here because of your terrible culture? But why do you have to speak badly of others even if you don't know them? A waiter who speaks badly of others and even of his owner at the tables with such freedom and ease is unacceptable. I am convinced that if the father in a house speaks badly of others in the presence of his children, tomorrow his children will also do the same thing feeling entitled to do so and therefore in my opinion the owner of this structure is also a gossip and dishonest.

26/06/2025: An unusual place for a seaside location, given that the menu includes excellent sandwiches with typical Tuscan cheeses and cured meats. The quality is very good, the service stands out for its kindness and courtesy. Even when the place is full and without a reservation they try to seat everyone. Special mention for the bathroom which is large and clean unlike many similar places.

24/06/2025: Located in the beautiful square of Torre a Mare, this pork butcher's shop stands out for the specialty of its products. The exquisite meatballs in various sauces, the crunchy potatoes, the cutting boards, the baguettes and the schiacciate are a riot of flavors; all top quality and tasty. The prices are not even excessive. The wait is practically non-existent and the staff is quick and helpful. Possibility of ample parking nearby and a wonderful sea view. Ideal for spending a moment of leisure with friends or family walking on the marina and then stopping there. Highly recommended!

16/06/2025: Very welcoming and clean place, run by a husband and wife (he cooks exceptionally, she is kind and professional and serves at the tables). Authentic cuisine with seasonal garden products. The following dishes are noteworthy: Orecchiette grano arso alle cime di rapa, Tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, Maccheroni al ragù (all homemade pasta). The delicious artichokes in oil. Ricotta and pear cake. A lunch marked by courtesy and authenticity, we will return soon. Highly recommended.

18/06/2025: Paying for a coffee as if it were good and finding yourself with stomach pains shortly after is truly unacceptable. Terrible taste, questionable quality and exaggerated price. An experience that not only disappoints the palate, but also puts a strain on the stomach. Not recommended.
