22/03/2025: Excellent bar in the center of Baveno. Very friendly staff and excellent quality food prepared in optimal times. Very good caffè macchiato with chocolate pastry. Excellent piadina with bresaola. Highly recommended! +5⭐️!

Non nascondo che anche non avendo problemi di lattosio o celiachia,vado anche da sola 😉.proprietari sempre gentili e disponibili

28/12/2024: Excellent welcome. The very kind owner. From the car park to the refuge it takes about 10 minutes. The route is simple and well shaded. We had lunch at the refuge. The quality of the products is excellent! Good prices! The comfortable and shaded outdoor seats. There is a play area for children. The refuge is an excellent starting point for various excursions. Highly recommended

13/02/2025: I am reviewing the restaurant only. We came on a week night in February and got a table right away with no reservation. The service was terrific. I had the mussels and they were very good and plentiful. My husband had the carbonara, which was very good. We then shared plate of shrimp, swordfis and branzino which was excellent.

12/02/2025: The food was mediocre. The entrecôte was not asked at what level it should be fried, which is why it was too well done for me. Also, the waiter handed me the QR code for the menu because he thought I didn't understand the English and Italian on their menu. The entrecôte with “seasonal vegetables” was salad without sauce, as shown in the picture, as well as a few other vegetables, but nothing special. The waitresses and waiter were on their cell phones and didn't ask us how we liked it. However, they asked the guests next to us whether the food tasted good and whether they needed anything else. What I found very rude was that all the other customers could pay at the table and we had to walk to the bar and pay there. They also charged us a service fee of €5 for their poor service. The restaurant is not recommended at all and all staff should receive customer service training. Answer: It's sad that you can't even accept customer feedback. This shows the audacity of the place. Also, I don't see any broccoli on the plate. You should know what you are selling. They also claimed to have provided the QR code properly. However, simply throwing the QR code on the table is anything but decent. I don't know what they mean by kindness. Furthermore, it is completely unacceptable to discriminate against me because of my name. How could they even know my name in the restaurant? It's embarrassing that at a time when many people speak English, you don't even know this language. I'm surprised anyone even comes into this place anymore.

09/03/2025: Definitely a particular restaurant, warm and welcoming. Genuine in its management in many aspects that deserve to be experienced and evaluated in person rather than judged. Even the friendly and good-natured staff undoubtedly, not always impeccable in their "manners". The issue of "mandatory" payment (in practice) in cash is the only flaw. Even though pre-warned by the managers at the time of booking, it is not clear how such a situation can still exist more than 2 years after an obligation established by law and which applies to all other traders

08/03/2025: A beautiful place. The halls are decorated with love, cauldrons and owls. The people serving the tables are kind and smiling. The cuisine is true and traditional mountain cuisine. I will definitely come back.

04/03/2025: Excellent option to eat well, having different choices between pizza and local recipes. Attentive and professional service. The environment is a bit noisy but still pleasant.

10/12/2024: Locale accogliente e caldo, forno a legna x la pizza, personale gentile. Cibo ottimo e pizza fatta con ottimi ingredienti: verdure cotte alla griglia e acciughe di ottima qualità. Posizione comoda per il posteggio.
