Medium-large pizzas, crispy and thin crust, generous toppings with any ingredients you want. Always fresh ingredients, especially freshly sliced ​​cured meats and fresh mozzarella. I love you! 17/09/2025: Great views of the Borromean islands. Comfortable chairs. Friendly, helpful service. Surprisingly good selection of good draught beer: Spaten from Munich, Leffe from Belgium. A stone's throw away from the jetty where you can travel by boat to the islands, Verbania and Stresa.

06/01/2026: Divine! Christmas motorboat to the Island of Lights – Nativity scenes and flavors on Fishermen's Island: a truly special evening, one that will last a lifetime. For the lights event, we booked dinner at Ristorante Italia, on the island of the same name, and even our arrival on the water, amidst the Christmassy reflections and atmosphere, promised something unique. I'm not a fan of fish—especially lake fish—but I have to say that here they literally made me love it. Dishes of lake fish were divinely prepared, carefully presented, and passionately described by the owner: a talkative, pleasant, and deeply engaging person. Like the rest of the family, of course, but he in particular was able to guide us, with enthusiasm and expertise, in choosing the best they had to offer. The photos speak clearly and tell a lot, even if they can't fully convey the emotions we experienced at the table. Last but not least, the discovery that the restaurant also offers round-trip boat transportation to and from Baveno and Stresa. A boat piloted by the son: a detail that makes all the difference and makes the experience even more intimate, complete, and evocative. An evening of lights dancing on the water, authentic flavors, and genuine people. One to cherish forever.

05/01/2026: My husband, our dog, and I had lunch here yesterday. Everyone was very kind and answered all my questions. The risotto alla Borromeo is highly recommended. We'll be back.

03/02/2026: I ordered takeout. The pasta with meat sauce arrived white with two pieces of meat thrown in, overcooked and tasteless. The pad thai was much heavier than usual, and the fries were rubbery and undercooked. I've never had this happen at a restaurant; in fact, everything was always good quality. Quite disappointed. Definitely better to go for aperitivo.

20/09/2025: A very nice terrace on the first floor, and very friendly and charming service. The fresh pasta and fish dishes are particularly good. The portions are generous; it's hard to manage three full courses. Ideally, therefore, starters and side dishes are shared. We had the eggplant timbale and the mussels as starters, and both were very aromatic. The kitchen also prepares meat excellently. A particularly positive aspect is that many wines are available by the glass, so you can try more. We enjoyed the hospitality several times.

07/01/2026: A well-maintained restaurant... well, I must say... with a pleasant and elegant atmosphere. The wine selection is good, although the prices are a bit high. The cuisine is decent, but not particularly representative of Piedmontese tradition. The staff is attentive and professional. They also sell traditional products, but I didn't delve into them in depth... Overall, the experience was positive, although I wasn't entirely thrilled: perhaps because we dined on the outdoor veranda, which didn't convey the sense of warmth and welcome that the photos suggested, or perhaps due to space and reservations... Overall, a good restaurant, but not memorable.

23/08/2025: Been coming here for years, usually on a day trip from Switzerland for the Saturday market and we always call in for a drink. Visited later in the day this time and had some food for a change. Absolutely fantastic. Tagliatelle Ragu and Ravioli stuffed with Sea Bass. Never have pasta dishes tasted so good. It's amazing what they can achieve in such a small kitchen. Staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended. Unfortunately we had to leave quickly after our food due to our planned train being delayed and having to rush for an earlier one.

24/10/2025: Beautiful place! Even though it's autumn, I enjoyed eating outside thanks to the sunny weather. Excellent food, generous portions. The waitress was very kind and helpful.
