10/06/2026: An impromptu lunch break in a beautiful setting. Smiling staff and impeccable service, excellent lunch. All this, of course, comes at a price. I don't understand the negative reviews.

08/06/2026: I am there now and my hernia is a dream. Delicious food, the sparrows are chirping, and the view and hospitality are amazing. Good breakfast with the option to order extra tasty items. Beautiful place and I will definitely be back.

01/05/2026: Disappointing... 5:00 PM restrooms. No toilet paper, pee everywhere, and toilets with non-flushing flushes, foul-smelling due to the obvious presence of feces, as dirty as the bathrooms in the worst bars in Caracas. I point out to the counter that, given the cost of drinks, it would be appropriate to send someone to restore the restrooms to their expectations. The response was: "There's been a line since this morning, we can't do anything about it." Well, this note will be made public. Thank you for your interest. See you next time.

11/05/2026: Excellent place to stay in the city center. Rooms near the station. Staff make you feel at home. The food is good, both at breakfast (plenty, but not a buffet; they pass trays of all sorts of goodies) and at dinner.

Wonderful, generous breakfast with a wide variety of delicious products: croissants, fruit, homemade yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, smoked ham, cheese, panna cotta, crème caramel, bread, jam, tart, and cereal. 28/04/2026: A "local" on the Don Minoli up to our accommodation Casa Federica.My gnocchi with chestnuts,and a creamy cheese sauce ,my friends Calzone took up the whole plate.A taste of local culture,as well as the food and generous rose.

23/04/2026: I ate the best pizza there, "Frutti di Mare," and the staff is friendly and helpful! The road from Cannero is very, very narrow and should really only be used by drivers with mountain driving experience!

15/02/2026: Sunday lunch, very basic atmosphere. Good food. The only downside was that at one point I had to put on a jacket because it was so cold. Others, without telling management, also complained about the cold in the dining area.

20/09/2025: A very nice terrace on the first floor, and very friendly and charming service. The fresh pasta and fish dishes are particularly good. The portions are generous; it's hard to manage three full courses. Ideally, therefore, starters and side dishes are shared. We had the eggplant timbale and the mussels as starters, and both were very aromatic. The kitchen also prepares meat excellently. A particularly positive aspect is that many wines are available by the glass, so you can try more. We enjoyed the hospitality several times.

Quality, delicious, and tasty products. Pistachio tiramisu (although I wanted the Nutella one 🤷🏻) and homemade strudel were EXCELLENT. Fair price. I will definitely be back. 100% recommended

06/06/2026: The location is simply spectacular. Getting to Lake Antrona alone is worth the trip, but stopping here for a break was truly a great choice. The view of the mountains and the lake creates a beautiful atmosphere. We had two desserts, and honestly, both were top-notch. The strudel was delicious, warm, with custard and a scoop of ice cream we'd added: classic but done really well, especially the contrast between hot and cold—wow. The Linzer torte was also perfect, a gem. Served with whipped cream and ice cream, it was incredible, perfectly balanced. We also had a small beer and an iced tea, and in total we spent about €20, including table service. For the location, the quality, and the tranquility of the place, I'd say it's absolutely fair. In fact, almost surprising. The girl who served us was extremely kind and had a cheerful, smiling face :) The place is nestled in a truly beautiful setting, very relaxing and well-kept without being fake or touristy. Perfect both as a stop after a hike or simply to enjoy an afternoon in the mountains. For me, it's one of those places that automatically becomes a "I'll be back as soon as I'm in the area."
