03/03/2025: Fantastic restaurant, the atmosphere is very pleasant both inside and outside with a spectacular view. In every dish you can perceive the attention to detail and the love of those who prepared it. Impeccable service, the guys who served us were super nice and helpful in everything. We will definitely return.

09/03/2025: We came for the legendary "Cthulhu-in-a-bun" tentacle burger but had to learn it's only served in summer. Went for a Pooria (with a tasty, creamy sauce of burratina and pistacchio. Delicious!!) and one with pulled pork (even a tad better, the meat was incredible juicy, the whole burger fantastic). Their self-made red ale accompanying it was fruity, rich and lightly bitter, just how it should be. The service was funny, fast, incredibly nice, the pub itself feels comfy... a really great find with great food other than my regular Italian food. Definitely have to get back there in summer, want to get strangled by that kraken burger and recommend everyone to do the same!

29/10/2024: Wir waren in diesem Restaurant am Abend mit Reservierung. Chef freundlich, Serviertochter unfreundlich und kurz angebunden. Coperto 3 Euro pro Person für ein bisschen Brot! Die Pizza war ok, Weinauswahl ok, bei den restlichen Speisen kleine Portionen. Die Preise sind eher hoch. Wir gehen sicher nicht mehr dorthin.

24/02/2025: Le Vie del Borgo is an experience worth trying. I didn't find anything that wasn't taken care of down to the smallest detail. Congratulations indeed to Elisabetta, nice, friendly and prepared in the dining room. A truly light and very tasty cuisine and a lot of availability also in satisfying requests. vote 10

19/03/2025: We spent a week at the Hotel "Antica Stallera" and were absolutely thrilled. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous, both at reception and at the breakfast buffet. We particularly enjoyed our small terrace. The hotel itself is centrally located, just a stone's throw from the harbor promenade, yet offers a quiet place to relax. Day trips around the lake or to Milan, as well as the Sunday market on the promenade, are easily arranged. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

30/12/2024: I'll tell you about the unpleasant experience my girlfriend had yesterday during lunch at the Antica Stallera. While he was enjoying a plate of gran fusilli, he suddenly felt something hard in his mouth: it was a NAIL WITH AN ANCHOR found in the food. He immediately notified the dining room staff, and the chef came to apologize, showing a courteous and understanding attitude. However, when she expressed her disappointment to the waitress, her attitude was unacceptable: she seemed to imply that she had put the nail on the plate herself, an unfair and deeply offensive accusation. At the end of the meal, we were offered the dish and a dessert, an appreciated gesture, but which did not erase the bitterness for what had happened and for the treatment received. I hope that the restaurant will work to improve the quality of control in the kitchen and better train staff on how to deal with delicate situations, to ensure a respectful and safe experience for customers.

23/03/2025: I go to the Grand Hotel et des Iles Borromées whenever we want to experience a special moment with my family. The structure is wonderful, very well-kept and with a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore. The pool has been recently renovated and is a truly fantastic place to relax. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. Truly a unique place. I returned recently and discovered that inside the spa there is a truly excellent hairdresser. One more reason to come back again

04/12/2024: Nous n'avions pas eu l'occasion de manger à Il Verbano depuis que l'auberge a été reprise par le chef Marco Sacco. Ce fût chose faite en avril 2024 lorsque nous y avons à la fois déjeuné et dîné. Pour déjeuner, nous avons choisi un menu léger. Pour dîner, nous avons pris un des 4 menus proposés. Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu déguster les 4 menus. L'accueil est impeccable, la cuisine à la hauteur de la réputation du chef et le cadre tout simplement magique

03/12/2024: We chose this restaurant on recommendation but big disappointment. The +: impeccable service and magnificent setting The -: very high prices at first glance but why not the menu is promising. Very disappointed, the starters are tiny, the first course for me is a pasta stew with a few mussels and a few potatoes. Well presented but it's still pasta at €96, the menu is inappropriate. 2nd course fish without accompaniment… dessert ok. In summary, an experience that does not live up to the prices and the promise of the presentation of the menus.

28/03/2025: Ristorante il Vikingo Domodossola. I don't give 5 stars easily, but here they are well deserved! Enchanting location, excellent service, super food! I tasted one of the best pizzas I've eaten, excellent quality ingredients, but above all the preparation of the dough, leavening for 42 hours! It means that it doesn't rise in the stomach 👏👍 highly recommended place! 🎩excellent

17/02/2025: High-quality cuisine at super fair prices. The servive was also very friendly. An absolute recommendation and we were very satisfied. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant is always fully booked.

The cibo is ottimo, with piatti prepared with ingredients fresh and of high quality, and the offer of bevande è altrettanto eccellente. The personal is extremely gentle and attentive, soon there will be a shock or fear with a sorrow. The ambience is characteristic and accompaniment, perfect for a serata piacevole. Inoltre, the ristorante offers a menu a prezzo fisso davvero buonissimo, che permette di gustare various specialità senza sorprese sul conto. I prezzi sono onesti e adeguati alla qualità offeredta. Un'esperienza davvero consigliata! German La Meridiana in Domodossola is a must-visit restaurant! The food is excellent, made with fresh and high quality ingredients, and the drink selection is equally excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to fulfill your every wish with a smile. The ambience is charming and inviting – ideal for a pleasant evening. Particularly recommended is the delicious fixed-price menu, which offers a great way to enjoy various specialties without any surprises on the bill. In addition, the prices are fair and the quality is absolutely appropriate. A clear recommendation!

21/02/2025: Locale bello, personale gentilissimo, atmosfera rilassante menù accurato con molte specialità spagnole. Da 10 e lode il piatto di piccoli antipasti di mare, da 7/8 i primi e i secondi (consiglio le tagliatelle con gamberi e crema di carciofi). Discreti i dolci. Prezzo adeguato. Tornerei per valutare le offerte di piatti iberici

15/01/2025: Very nice place, excellent food and the waitress who served us was very kind and professional. I give one star, despite myself, for what I imagine is the owner. When it was time to pay, the gentleman asked us if we wanted a single receipt and at "our" house the single receipt means a single bill, after a couple of seconds of back and forth he tells us "I don't care, just pay ” all pissed off We were very sorry as the lunch was spent in a super pleasant way but this farewell could have been saved. In the hope that he will learn education and the value of hospitality. Greetings from Turin, where hospitality is a must.

18/01/2025: Sono stato ieri sera con mia moglie ,abbiamo preso 2 piatti di pasta ai frutti di mare dentro impasto della pizza ( minsfoligge il nome del piatto)..impasto pizza secondo noi leggermente indietro e un po' crudo, pasta nella media non male..unica pecca l'attesa ,avremmo voluto prendere il dolce ma dopo circa 15/20 da fine pasto che aspettavamo abbiano preferito andarcene.... È un posto che non mi ha lasciato la voglia di tornarci ,ma nemmeno posso dire di non andare perché tutto sommato il cibo è discreto... Nonostante l'attesa secondo noi eccessiva devo dire che comunque il personale è gentile
