01/02/2026: I loved the refuge. The staff was smiling and welcoming. There were four of us, plus our dog. The place is pet-friendly, so you can bring your four-legged friends along without leaving them at home. I'm from Rome but live in London. The polenta with melted Bettelmat Alpe Regina cheese on top was divine. I loved everything about it: the location, the food, the interior. At the entrance, they even have jars of homemade local products, if you want to take a souvenir of the valley.

09/01/2026: The Genziana refuge and restaurant is one of those places that welcomes you with simplicity and warmth, making you immediately feel right at home. After a hike through the woods and trails, arriving here is like coming home: the mountain air whets your appetite, the aroma of hot dishes invites you to sit down, and time seems to slow down. The cuisine is authentic, rooted in tradition and the local area. The polenta with tomino is a dish that speaks volumes: soft and enveloping polenta, accompanied by fresh, local tomino, with a delicate yet bold flavor that enhances every bite without overpowering it. A genuine comfort food that warms and satisfies. The legume and grain soup with lard is surprising in its simplicity: rich, fragrant, and nourishing, with the lard slowly melting, lending depth and character to a rustic and sincere dish. The fresh, local cheeses speak to the work and passion of those who live the mountains every day. You can sense the conscious choice of raw materials, without artifice or excess, but with great respect for authentic flavors. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, made of wood, soft voices, and spontaneous smiles. The Genziana refuge is more than just a restaurant: it's an authentic mountain experience, where food becomes a story, a refreshment, and a memory, leaving you wanting to return, perhaps after another hike, to rediscover the same flavors and atmosphere. The service is truly impeccable.

06/01/2026: Restaurant (refuge) on the summit of Mottarone, well-cooked dishes, good portions. Prices are in line with most items, a little higher for dessert and house wine. The rest, from cover charge to starters and main courses, is the same as at most restaurants on Sunday lunchtime or in the evening. The polenta and hot soup are good. The staff and owner are very friendly. 2 polentas, 1 soup, 1 dessert, 1 water, 2 covers, 1 coffee, cost €52. If you find yourself here, try the nice hot polenta. Reservations are recommended on holidays, but they'll definitely find a spot.

29/12/2025: Amazing place! The food is absolutely incredible, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service couldn’t be better. Great music that really adds to the vibe. This bar truly saved us, as it was one of the few places open after 11 pm in the town. We couldn’t have asked for a better late-night spot!

07/11/2025: Perfect for a late-night snack, the piadinas and focaccias are delicious, and the fried foods are also delicious! Excellent selection of Scotch if you want to break away from the traditional beers! Highly recommended!

10/12/2025: A wonderful place for its history and international culture. It was the "precursor" of what is now known as the United Nations. I recommend visiting in the summer. It may be closed during the winter months.

22/11/2025: The state-of-the-art spa is amazing. The floating spa is a fun experience if you make a reservation. The hotel itself is gorgeous and a pleasant stroll. The private garden in front is also beautiful to explore. The hotel rooms are small, but the sheets are clean, and the breakfast is decorated in a lovely way.

08/01/2026: I occasionally pass by, but I have to say, you always see cars parked. I stopped with my family for an aperitif, but it was almost noon and the kitchen was closed, so we only got chips. The service wasn't very accurate. The girl who took our order got three out of ten wrong, and we had to wait a while for the rest. The atmosphere is modern and nice.

25/01/2026: Couple's Dinner A very charming and quaint venue, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. A four-course tasting menu. Wine pairings are available based on the course. The menu includes the paired wine and is priced per person (the cost). Definitely worth a try.

15/11/2025: This is my second experience at Rosmarinocucina, and I'll definitely be back for dinner if I'm in the area. The atmosphere is simple, very refined, and intimate, even though the dining room is small. Soft lighting and relaxing music make it very welcoming. The staff are extremely welcoming and attentive, and the place is spotless. The dishes exude passion, a search for excellent raw materials, and fresh, well-balanced ingredients that blend seamlessly together to create a delightful dining experience. In addition to the beautiful presentation, you'll have a wonderful experience savoring the various dishes the chef offers. The menu is à la carte, and you can also order wine by the glass. I chose the glass option because I'm not very familiar with wine... Homemade pasta and bread. Excellent desserts; your taste buds will thank you. I had dinner with two friends who thanked me for introducing them to Rosmarinocucina. See you next time.

20/10/2025: The owner and the entire staff were incredibly nice. The hotel's location is simply fantastic. With the slightly cooler temperatures, the room was very cold because the windows weren't airtight. Breakfast was good, but not great. Overall, I can recommend the hotel.
