03/08/2025: Family Sunday with kids. The food at this agriturismo is exceptional! Excellent value for money. Various activities for children and adults alike. Nearby is the agrilbar nestled in the woods, run by the same family, where you can spend the afternoon relaxing, with a mini adventure park for kids and a large play area. The ideal location for a day out.

16/11/2025: We dined here in November 2025 and were greeted with great warmth. The menu offered a beautiful selection of dishes, which were described to us by the owner and chef. Her husband expertly assisted us with the wine selection, thanks to a truly excellent wine list. For appetizers, we enjoyed raw meat and poached egg with fondue, both accompanied by extraordinary truffles sourced directly from the region. For first courses, we chose pasta with ragù and pumpkin gnocchi. The portions were very generous. For the fourth course, we were served liver in Moscato. The owner places great importance on regionality and the quality of the products. The truffle was by far the best we tasted in Alba in 2025. The cuisine was excellent, and the service was very friendly and personal; we found the restaurant extremely welcoming. We highly recommend "Il Brutto Anatroccolo" and can't wait to return! We visited in November 2025 and were warmly welcomed. There was a lovely selection of dishes, which was explained to us by the owner and chef. Her husband guided us competently through the impressive wine list and helped us choose the perfect wines. The portions are very generous. As our fourth course, we were served liver in Moscato. The owner puts great emphasis on regionality and the quality of the ingredients. The truffle was by doing the best we had in Alba in 2025. The food was excellent, and the service was incredibly warm and personal. We also found the restaurant very cozy and inviting. We can wholeheartedly recommend “The Ugly Duckling” and are already looking forward to our next visit

17/09/2025: We discovered Osteria del Brutto Anatroccolo, a true haven of happiness. Delicious food and a unique atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

16/09/2025: We returned to the Langhe for the second time for a tasting at Vite Colte, and inevitably, I can't help but compare it to my first experience at another winery. Unfortunately, overall, this second visit was less convincing. But let's start with the strong points: the facility is truly splendid. The architecture is meticulously designed to guide visitors through the various stages of winemaking. The aesthetics evoke the region, both in its colors and in its references to Piedmontese tradition. The barrel room is undoubtedly the most evocative part and represents the true jewel of the winery. The guide was very kind and knowledgeable, especially regarding the facility and the general winemaking processes. A few questions about the wines currently being produced remained unanswered, but overall the explanation was clear. Perhaps due to the tight schedule, I found the visit a bit rushed: personally, I would have preferred a slower pace and more informal interaction. Moving on to the tasting, unfortunately, I was the biggest disappointment. I had purchased the package on Freedom, which included two Barolos, a Barbaresco, and a Nebbiolo. In reality, we were served a Barolo, a Nebbiolo, a Sauvignon Blanc, and a Barbera d'Asti. Furthermore, the explanation of the wines was given all at once, leaving us to taste them on our own, accompanied by a platter of excellent cured meats, cheeses, and breadsticks. A more engaging approach, with a guided tasting step by step, would have made the experience much more interesting. That said, I still recommend visiting Vite Colte: the place is truly worth it and leaves a lasting impression. With a little more attention to the tasting, it could be an unforgettable experience.

03/03/2026: Even though it was packed, without a reservation, they found us two seats 🫶 The pizza was 💯 👏 👏👏 The sausage was delicious, except for the cold and slightly undercooked fries 😁 Fast service, very kind and helpful staff, well done 👏👏👏 I'll gladly come back 🫶 Thank you 😊

10/02/2026: Large oven-baked pizza with the option of Roman pizza. They also sell steak and Milanese steak. The desserts are homemade. They also have draft beers and Coke on tap.

20/12/2025: I was looking for a place halfway between Liguria and Piedmont to celebrate my birthday. Reading the reviews, we stumbled upon this place. We were very satisfied. Five appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and dessert. Everything was high-quality and with a very homely touch.

25/12/2025: I booked Christmas lunch 2025 because I had a great meal the first time. Disappointment! Aperitif non-existent, menu very different from what was anticipated, menu not present on the table, paper napkins, food rationed, and the staff forgot to serve me a dish. To top it all off, no final toast and no receipt. I'm very disappointed and now understand why friends I sent there dismissed it. A very disappointing Christmas lunch.

09/11/2025: We were in Dronero for the weekend and booked a table for six at this restaurant. The waitress, who was very friendly and made an effort to speak French as best she could, presented us with dishes written in her handwritten notebook—no official menu, no prices. We were surprised by the concept. We ordered two or three antipasti per person, which were quite good, then four ravioli in sauce (they tasted like canned, dry ravioli), two beef cheeks (tiny on a large plate with two small pieces of steamed broccoli), and one dessert. However, the exorbitant bill surprised us even more: €270! We've never seen a restaurant without a menu and prices; it's a disgrace! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

07/02/2026: A small place right in the center of Cuneo, with very friendly and attentive staff. Ideal for a quick snack. A good variety of pre-made sandwiches, or you can choose your own toppings. Reasonable prices reflect the high-quality ingredients used. The opening hours, which extend to 3:00 PM on Saturdays, are also appreciated. Highly recommended.

18/09/2025: An excellent place for a chat with friends, a coffee, breakfast, and of course a sandwich, prepared with care and attention to quality ingredients. Friendly and courteous service. A true gem in the heart of the city.

20/01/2026: Hello, New Year's Eve wasn't the best, cold appetizers, just out of the freezer, found a hair of the waitress who worked so hard to work, a funeral as a party, I think that November years ago when I came for New Year's Eve everything was better, however during the holidays you eat very well

07/11/2025: A wonderful and pleasant discovery. I ended up here by chance with a friend of mine, and we were truly happy with everything. The place is very welcoming and charming. The food is plentiful and excellent, and the service is extremely courteous and attentive.
