28/07/2025: This place shouldn't be called "hotel". It is more like a hostel with hotel pretentions and prices. First of all it is very badly located right on the main street and the insulation is 0, therefore impossible to rest from 6 am to 9 pm (hours of opening of the Tende tunnel). The quality of the mattress is the worst, 2 nights without sleep because of how bad they were (a double bed with 2 single mattresses...I never thought this practice still existed!). The room itself is depressing with furniture from the 18th century with 0 charm and some awful hospital like tiles on the floor. The TV is a joke, should be removed as you can't really watch it! But the cherry on the top is the fact that if you want to have dinner in this "luxury" hotel, they make you pay a 4€ coperto, even when you are a guest here! The coperto is an illegal practice that should be banned, introduced just because owners don't want to pay their workers a decent salary, so they have to rip off the tourists. A total shame! I haven't seen this amount anywhere in Italy and we travel a lot. And I have to also mention that after you pay 110€ for a deplorable room, if you want to take advantage of their spa, they ask for another 40€/person. For a hot tub and a sauna...Unbelievable! We went at Mouratoglu resort here on the French Riviera and they have a REAL spa and we didn't pay this amount (they have regular offers) and also if you want to eat at their restaurant it is free! Just as a comparison. Avoid at all cost! Customer service 0 also, I can't understand the reviews, nor how they are still "alive". Also bad and limited breakfast choices, no seasonal fruit or vegetables available 🤔.

21/07/2025: Posto incantevole proprio sopra Santo Stefano Belbo. La cucina ottima, noi siamo stati domenica a pranzo e il menù ( a prezzo fisso) comprendeva i piatti tipici piemontesi. Vitello tonnato, insalata russa, una entré con frisciule, bresaola e agliata spettacolari, ravioli del plin ai 3 arrosti, taglierini ecc ecc. tutto innaffiato da vino della casa e moscato per il dolce. La gentilezza del personale ti fa sentire davvero a casa come al pranzo della domenica in famiglia. Consigliatossimo!

20/07/2025: Un ristorantino accogliente, pochi tavoli che creano un ambiente tranquillo e poco rumoroso. Si mangiano piatti tipici piemontesi cucinati dalla bravissima Cristina (la domenica menù fisso ad un prezzo ottimo ), gusti delicati, portate servite a vassoio da personale garbato, piacevole e sorridente. Assolutamente da provare!!!

30/06/2025: Visitato più volte in occasione dei miei giri in bicicletta. Ogni volta noto porzioni sempre più scarse e prezzi sempre più alti. Buoni i primi, ma in porzioni minime per una Locanda. Ho voluto provare l'Antipasto Piemontese: un cucchiaino di verdure sottolio, uno di insalata russa insipida e una piccola tartina con acciuga e salsa rossa. Più che un antipasto lo chiamerei stuzzichino. i

28/06/2025: Siamo stati in questa locanda su consiglio del proprietario dell'alloggio in cui stavamo. Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene, Il personale è stato gentile sebbene fossimo arrivati con mezz'ora di ritardo. Consiglio i formaggi che sono di loro produzione!

14/07/2025: A small town trattoria where you can eat well and affordably. The service is typical of a trattoria. Piedmontese cuisine; I had the gnocchi, the tongue in red sauce, and the veal with tuna sauce: all excellent. Recommended!

25/05/2025: Repetitive menu but top quality ingredients. Carpaccio di Fassona and gnocchi deserve an encore. Special mention also for the Panna cotta al caffe!

16/07/2025: What can I say...recommended by Alex from the B&B Ca del viaggiatore in Farigliano, and I have to say it really surprised us! It seemed a bit dark at first glance...but I have to say it completely changed our initial impression! The girls were smiling and very kind, the pizza was excellent, and the desserts...spectacular! Absolutely recommended!

01/07/2025: L'ultima esperienza non è andata bene, cose che possono succedere ma non dovrebbero succedere.... ritornerò più avanti a riprovare....

20/07/2025: For one evening in the center of Cuneo, it was a very relaxing and pleasant dinner at this restaurant...the interior location was very welcoming, not to mention the food and service, which were above average. Compliments to the waiter who served us!!!!!

19/07/2025: 1 passeggiata in centro a Cuneo con 1 Unbuon aperitivo in un locale in Via Roma e non si poteva non continuare fermandosi a cenare qui...Dal di fuori sembra 1 classica pizzeria, ma dentro la location è stupenda almeno per chi è appassionato di quadri. Personale molto gentile soprattutto 1 cameriere che ci ha servito, è stato delicato nel parlare, gentile, attento e molto professionale ( non sappiamo il nome ma è di origine sarda...complimenti!!!! ) Il mio compagno ha preso 1 pizza che è piaciuta molto e io 1 pasta alle vongole e per essere in Cuneo devo ammettere che è stato 1 piatto delizioso Lo consiglio anche perché al martedì c'è il famoso mercato di Cuneo!!!!!

19/05/2025: Good morning, I went to eat, a very nice and clean place, it's a shame that the menu is limited in choice, 2 good starters, only one good first course on the menu, and the second course is either tomini or capollo which is not as good as grilled ham. It is not possible to keep the white wine in the fridge on ice because it does not have a special container. Damn, the name trattoria.... but you can do better.

31/03/2025: Ambiente rustico ed accogliente. Personale gentile e simpatico. Servizio preciso con tempi medi. Ottima la cucina dall'antipasto ai dolci. Struttura posizionata sulla statale ideale per chi è di passaggio ma non per la sosta, piccolo parcheggio. Bravi a tutto il personale. Ci ritornerò e lo consiglio con prenotazione. In allegato la nostra esperienza.

15/06/2025: Zum 1. Mal in der neuen Osteria delle Aie in Castagnito. Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, freundlicher und flinker Service. Alle aufgetragenen Speisen schmeckten sehr herrlich, aber die hausgemachte Glace aus Aprikosen ist speziell erwähnenswert, so superfein. Das Haus befindet sich nach wie vor auf einem sehr hohen Niveau zu moderatem Preis. Gratulation an die freundliche Gastgeberin. Weiterhin viel Erfolg wünschen Urs mit Margrit und Christian

25/01/2025: Traveling in Italy for the Christmas holidays from Canada , we were visiting the " Roero" and decided to have our Christmas lunch at this restaurant. They accomodate us with a last minute reservation, table for 2. The restaurant was fully booked and only thing I can say is that everything was amazing , service , atmosphere and food ! Every single dish was just superb , amazing was one of our best experiences..full of taste and creativity , in our 3 weeks trip in Italy we visited restaurants every single lunch and dinner but Marcelin will be always on our heart ❤️ Great Job Angelo, Manuela , Thomas and all the Marcelin staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Piccola entre di cous cous, antipasto di cavoli -toma e nocciole (ma anche i moscardini al sugo che ho assaggiato erano buoni e puliti bene), gnocchi al bleu (non forte) ma anche la pasta con polpo era buona, baccalà stupendo. Dolcini con il caffé. Ottimo e ci torno. Il conto non so, ero invitato, ma ci torno, sicuramente
