14/06/2025: Sono partito apposta da Asti in moto per provare la “spaghettoteca” … il servizio è apprezzabile ma disattento infatti mi han portato gli spaghetti alle vongole veraci con il pomodoro dopo che mi erano stati suggeriti in bianco ma me li hanno sostituiti…. Veniamo al piatto, la pasta è precotta (male)e slegata dal condimento peccato perché le vongole in sé erano buone e fresche. Per quanto riguarda invece le penne all’arrabbiata beh un disastro non erano neanche piccanti ed erano più mezze maniche che penne. A voi l’ardua sentenza … io ci stendo un velo pietoso e non ci tornerò più di sicuro

25/05/2025: A stone's throw from Racconigi Castle, El Quartin offers a warm atmosphere and a very respectable menu for both the tasting menu and the à la carte. The staff is very kind and the price is more than fair. Definitely recommended. We will be back

14/05/2025: Very nice and spacious place. In the summer there are many tables outside the place that double the capacity. The staff is very kind and helpful. The food is very good. The pizza is good. The prices are a little high but that's okay. To come and eat here there are no problems parking the car given the huge and free parking that is located all around the place.

17/05/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante. Abbiamo iniziato con antipasti misti davvero ottimi, agnolotti al sugo di arrosto deliziosi, stracotto alla birra con contorno e crostata integrale con confettura di albicocche ottima!! Servizio impeccabile, staff molto gentile, locale ordinato e super pulito. Consigliatissimo a chi, come noi, amano il buon cibo e passare del tempo in famiglia. A presto!

16/05/2025: Non avendo prenotato sono riusciti cortesemente a trovarci un tavolo per me, mio marito ed i miei due bambini. Personale educato e cibo delizioso. Un locale curato e attento ai dettagli. Davvero una piacevolissima sorpresa, torneremo!

01/06/2025: Guidati dalle buone recensioni abbiamo prenotato e dopo esserci finalmente andati possiamo confermare il giudizio dei più. 5 stelle. Ottima cucina con curiose note fusion. Piatti deliziosi, curati e belli da vedere. In foto ciò che abbiamo ordinato, tutto delizioso.

14/05/2025: Un petit coin de Paradis au milieu d’un très beau parc. Nous avons été très bien reçu par la patronne qui a été adorable. Elle parlait bien français, nous a expliqué les plats. Tout était délicieux. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.

09/05/2025: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED restaurant. Unfortunately my experience was VERY negative. The staff is friendly but something has changed lately. It was the fifth time I went and, the first 3 times I found it good, the penultimate time I found the starters not up to par (a few days old) and, if they were fresh I dare not think and the white wine... better to leave it alone. This last time, thinking that the previous time had been a case in itself, we started with starters that were again not fresh, perhaps due to the fact that two days before it was May 1st and the starters were also dated, bland, without flavour. I had a risotto with artichokes as a first course and my arms dropped.....it looked like boiled rice diluted with broth and little pieces of artichoke that looked like they were in oil and, alas, at a certain point I found a nice artichoke thorn about a centimeter long in my mouth. I got shivers thinking that they could fall into the mouth of one of my two grandchildren, I told the waitress (who couldn't help it) to tell the kitchen to be careful because this should never happen. The second was a roast chicken (two very dry pieces and an inedible piece of neck) with a side of micro fries. The white wine, as usual.....not up to the standard of a restaurant. I didn't have anything else, neither dessert nor coffee, I had lost the desire. I went to pay and, AFTER paying, I pointed out to the owner if the staff had pointed out the issue of the artichoke thorn and she told me no, adding that I was certainly wrong but, I had taken two photographs, one with the thorn in the foreground and the second further away, also framing their "order" at the table. In response I was told that these things happen.....and I underlined that they should NOT happen and, in response, by turning his back on me and leaving, he addressed me by saying "next time don't come again". Yes I left, pointing out to her that even the pseudo risotto was terrible (I do it better, at least I do some sautéing). I underline that I am not a "local guide" who is interested in positive reviews, much less a person who looks for trattorias with lamps with modulating light on the table. I have always frequented trattorias in Piedmont including the historic Piole in Turin, those with an adjoining bowling green and I have always found myself well. The staff also seemed to have changed, still polite but less smiling. Sin. Low price but for what I ate... exaggerated. Ah, I forgot that I had lunch in the part of the restaurant near the windows overlooking the street which have flower pots and the ants were walking peacefully there. I repeat, I went there 5 times, once it can happen, but twice and what's more with the aggravating circumstance of the owner's arrogance in the face of evidence... it was enough for her to say... she's right. 24/04/2025: I came for a Sunday lunch and the restaurant offers a fixed menu offering the possibility of an encore. Excellent quality-price ratio with excellent raw materials. Very varied and all interesting proposals. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will happily return!!

21/04/2025: I went for lunch on Easter Sunday, everything was excellent, from the food, to the service, to the location. Very friendly owners, you can enjoy a family atmosphere. I renew my compliments. With the hope of not doubling, but tripling their work, carried out with passion and dedication. Highly recommended. 💯👏👏

19/04/2025: Non entro in merito al cibo eccellente servizio un po lento, ma il motivo della recensione negativa, dipende da un episodio molto sgradevole. Premesso se tengo una rastrelliera di vino a vista devo anche assumermi le conseguenze di eventuali danni. Mio nipotino di 18 mesi ha toccato inavvertitamente una bottiglia di vino, che perdendo l'appoggio è caduta e si è rotta. ho avvertito immediatamente la direzione, ed ho provveuduto a pulire il pavimento dal vino e cocci, ho poi chiesto di pagare il danno. mi sono stati chiesti ben 27 euro che ho pagato per una bottiglia che, "non ho bevuto", dal costo commerciale di circa 5 euro (un normale Pinot). Io ritengo di essere stato corretto non dello stesso avviso ritengo la direzione, posso capire se avessi consumato la bottiglia al tavolo(anche già strapagata), ma essendo stato un incidente penso che il danno poteve essere ben più contenuto se non annullato.

08/06/2025: We celebrated a corporate event here Valeria listened to us right away and met every need, even Elisa and Milly were extraordinary The evening was perfect The place is wonderful, an enchantment among the vineyards, the dinner was exquisite, everything was delicious, the service impeccable and even the after dinner with music I recommend Monte Oliveto because it is a certainty You can't go wrong and your event will be a dream Congratulations 5 stars plus!

17/11/2024: We booked this B&B because we had been given a Smartbox package that we wanted to use. I must say that among the various choices it seemed to us the only one worthy of being visited. With the directions of the navigator we arrived right in front of it without any difficulty. The restaurant was closed so all that remains is the B&B. After recovering the keys we entered a mini apartment. Since we are a couple, we were given the option of using a double bedroom, the bathroom, the living room and a kitchen without a kitchen 😁 The other rooms had been locked. The environment immediately seemed clean to us even if the furnishings were a bit dated. The bedroom is very spacious, sheets that seem new, shame about the single mattresses on double slats that for a couple are a little uncomfortable if you are not used to sleeping each in their own place. In the Smartbox description it reported two nights + two breakfasts + a picnic basket. We did not receive the latter and, to be honest, we did not even ask for it because we were already organized for lunches and dinners. Breakfast is served directly by the owner (kind and discreet) at an agreed time. It is a home-made breakfast, not exactly what you would expect but I must say that all in all it turned out to be healthy and nutritious. Let's say that overall it is a nice place, in an absolutely naturalistic and quiet context, it just needs a little refresh and modernization.
