If someone asks for something and the "auto responder" keeps repeating "thank you," perhaps something needs to be reworked.

01/09/2025: Excellent pizza with a variety of dough and crust toppings to choose from. The Valdostana pizza was huge and very well topped. The only downside was the wait (we went on a Saturday night), as we waited over an hour for our order, but the staff was very friendly.

I had the pleasure of chatting with the staff, who were very welcoming and passionate about their work. Every now and then they change the menu "off-menu" with very creative and delicious choices.

The many enthusiasts of authentic cuisine, the tourists who love the places and want to immerse themselves in the joy of dishes cooked with love, knowledge, and great craftsmanship, finally pay their respects. The work of cooking is hard and difficult, the welcome simple and sincere, a complicated and not always recognized art. Vilma, like her teacher Gemma di Roddino, and others scattered throughout this magical territory, are the milestones, the safe havens of food that excites and makes you happy. Kilometers are details when the destination is important, but today, with the valley floor, everything is simpler. We've been to this beautiful osteria several times, in different seasons, with the autumn mist, the warmth of the stove, the scent of truffles, and recently in the height of summer with a group of friends, some producers from the Langhe and Roero, for those shared lunches that will live forever in our memories. A traditional menu featuring our and Vilma's favorite dishes, starting with the Lele, the scent of toasted bread that takes us back to childhood, the cured meats, the Russian salad, the unrivaled and unique anchovies, the raw meat with black Langhe truffle, the cheese fritters, followed by the strictly homemade ravioli, and the rabbit, whose recipe is a family secret and is worth the trip alone. Then the traditional sweet bunets and stuffed peaches, and the fisa music of the great maestro Valter Porro. On this occasion, we were fortunate enough to sample the best wines from the Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato regions, but the Vecchia Osteria cellar has excellent labels at fair prices. A dream place. Clean, welcoming, and full of charm, with a warm, sincere welcome that makes you feel at home and in the right place. A dream kitchen where you discover authentic flavors, seasonality, the chef's secrets, and above all, a lot of passion. A place not to be missed. The prices are truly fair. We can't wait to return. 07/07/2025: We happened to be in the small village by chance and yesterday we stopped to grab a bite to eat. Nice place and a nice place outside (where we sat). The person who welcomed us also took care of bringing a large bowl of water for our 3 dogs. The food brought to the table was of good quality. In my opinion, the desserts (only 2) were not sweet enough. I found the bill a little high, considering what we ate. I have a note to make. It would be good, when seating people, to explain how the service will be carried out, instead of arriving directly with the appetizers. Without saying anything, we would have found ourselves with the entire tasting menu. My husband didn't dare say anything, so I had to play the role of the unpleasant one and stop everything. Just this little trick.

14/09/2025: The best pizza I've ever tasted. I found this address through a friend who lives in the village. A wonderful place where the welcome and quality of the food are impeccable. The managers are very friendly, and the service is very fast! They serve regional dishes, including fried fish... a real treat! All the dishes are hearty and very affordable! Highly recommended! Don't forget to stroll through the small streets of this charming village.

26/09/2025: Definitely a nice, good, quality restaurant. The fillet steak was exceptional, as was the mashed potatoes. The gnocchi were exquisite! While the slaw and veal with tuna sauce couldn't be said the same, the slaw seemed minced, not hand-grilled, and seasoned with too much lemon. The veal with tuna sauce was nothing special for this type of restaurant. But overall, the service from the girls in the dining room was friendly and attentive. The tiramisu was excellent!

Angelo's helpfulness at the reception, the attentiveness in the dining room, the truly excellent food, the experiences with Noemi that were accessible even to our little one, who even had several play options, the spa...the location and the truly appreciated attention. If I really had to find a flaw, but only with the aim of improving an already excellent hospitality, it would be the lack of comfort of the beds and pillows (sometimes this is also a subjective issue).

13/10/2025: Recommended!! We spent 1 night at this hotel. It's a family-friendly hotel but also excellent for a couples' vacation. The food is excellent, and the staff is attentive to every need. 16/08/2025: The restaurant is neat and clean. Meticulously maintained, with a casual atmosphere. We had to leave after the second course due to an emergency, but the owners were extremely accommodating, accommodating us and offering us the option to return the next day. The traditional menu is also highly recommended for the wine pairing.

The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously crafted, perfect for making you feel at ease. A huge compliment goes to chef Irene, who showcases local products with balanced, creative, and authentically flavorful dishes. Each course was meticulously crafted, not only in flavor but also in presentation. A special thanks to Ilaria, the owner, and the head waiter, who welcomed us with professionalism and kindness: their passion shines through in every attention they give to their guests. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return: a place we recommend to anyone seeking quality, authenticity, and hospitality.
