09/03/2026: We expected a semi-Michelin experience but were badly disappointed. We both got a Chef Menu but the dishes were boring and without the edge and taste experience you would expect from such a place. The pasta dish was downright inedible, the pasta was not cooked enough. Now I am not Italian, so it is fair if the waiter is not strong in English. But none of our dishes were presented properly and the food was almost thrown on the table. The best thing about the evening was the wine list, which is excellent also for the price. All in all, not the experience we had expected from what is considered one of the city's best restaurants.

09/08/2025: Trattoria con splendida vista sui vigneti di dolcetto e nebbiolo, menù fisso con 5 antipasti, scelta tra svariati primi e secondi, ottime proposte di dolci, cantina ben fornita. Servizio veloce e cordiale nonostante il locale fosse affollato. Prezzi in linea con l’offerta. Complimenti alla brigata di sala e cucina. Ci tornerò e la consiglio sicuramente!

30/12/2025: We finally returned to this restaurant to try out the new chef: and—as always—we left completely satisfied with an engaging and complete sensory experience. All five senses were delicately yet persistently stimulated, not just the palate but also sight, smell, and hearing (the background music was delightful). We chose two tasting menus with some variations—which the owner readily accepted: honorable mention goes to the tajarin with butter, anchovies, and black truffle, a perfect balance of flavor and smoothness, a delight. Every detail is meticulously attended to: Marcelin has long deserved his star, and we hope the new chef can deliver on this promise soon.

19/12/2025: Sale of typical local products. Excellent Castelmagno cheese in various ages, from the freshest to the most flavorful; delicious Tomé cheeses with berries, a true delight.
Friendly and attentive staff.
06/12/2025: A warm welcome, they took us to tour both the stables and the cheese aging room. And then... the cheeses, what can I say, a journey of wonderful flavors. We tasted in the shop, welcomed by the warm embrace of a fireplace. We'll definitely be back!

26/12/2025: A solid confirmation of the quality of the food served by the impeccable staff at Pajarin. Whenever we're in the area, we always bring friends and/or family, who are invariably thrilled with every aspect and lavish compliments on the excellent selection. From appetizers to dessert, you can't help but be very satisfied, at a fair and reasonable price: the challenge is to finish every course... Special mention for Lasagna di Ormea, which alone is worth the trip!
02/10/2025: The owners are very friendly and ready to answer any questions. The rooms aren't that great but you can still sleep well.

20/01/2026: Nice place, facing a square where parking is fairly easy. The staff is friendly and the pizzas are very good. I think the seafood dishes are the best, judging from what I saw at other tables. The wait is a bit long, though. Prices are average. Overall, a restaurant/pizzeria worth trying.

10/01/2026: We waited an hour for dinner....the atmosphere was clean and very simple. The only flaw is that the tables are small, but that's perhaps the art of using limited space to its fullest, and that's to be appreciated. There was no coat rack...in fact, despite the cramped space, we put everything on our chairs...and the women? Who also have bags?...well, what can I say...All in all, it was a feast! And not bad at all.

08/12/2025: Dinner with relatives, a place they know because they're local. They serve appetizers, first courses, second courses, fried fish, and then pizza. I liked the location, the cleanliness, and especially the menu, with limited dishes (not too extensive), and the speed of service. The pizzas are all pan-fried with the most common toppings. There's a wide and comprehensive wine selection; after all, we're in Dogliani. I had a deviled pizza, with a nice crispy crust. I've heard good reviews for everyone else, especially the mixed seafood platter, which is a great price and plentiful. The only thing I liked about the place is that it didn't absorb much noise, and you had to turn up the volume to be heard.

The menu isn't very extensive, and seeing many positive reviews about the pizza, I expected much more. You can find better pizzas elsewhere.

12/07/2025: Reviewing the food truck: WOW!!!! Finally a sandwich worthy of the name.
Heated on a griddle, super-filled with veal with tuna sauce and sauce... delicious, just like you'd make at home when you need to satisfy a craving.
If you're good like this on the road, you'll be even better at a fixed stove! Thank you so much, and well done! Don't change!
