Friendly and cheerful staff, excellent cuisine, generous portions, a wide selection of dishes, and reasonable prices. 🔝 After a climb up the hill, you couldn't ask for anything better! Highly recommended.

Trattoria da Vigna. A very nice place with friendly and engaging staff. Found it by chance on the main road to Pontechianale (Val Varaita). We stopped by at 12:10 and it seemed a bit early, but seeing so many people were already seated, I turned around and parked. We asked for a table for two and found a table under the bar (everything else was booked). Rustic but good appetizers. Well-seasoned rice salad. Gnocchi alla Val Varaita: delicious. Samples of wild boar and veal with carrots (very well cooked). Wine, trio of desserts, coffee, and grappa. €47 for two. Massimo, a friendly truck driver who also works as a waiter, is a friend you'd want to have as a friend. His son Manuele, "the madman," is also nice. All in all, a really great experience. I threw away the receipt... But not the photos.

I went for Easter lunch with family and friends. Excellent food, fast service, and friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. I recommend it because the food is good, home-cooked, and the atmosphere is family-friendly.
