Pizzeria Vesuvio In Carrù

Welcoming place, friendly staff, good choice of pizzas and more.

We spent a weekend in Carrù and found this place by chance, and I have to say we ate a super good pizza. I must admit, I've eaten very few pizzas this good in my life; I would have eaten another one out of sheer cravings. The place is quite welcoming, and an important note: it's run entirely by women, except for the pizza chef. The service was fast, courteous, and professional, and the price was fair and honest. If I ever return to the area, it will be a must-try.

We've ordered pizza delivery twice. As for the delivery service, there's nothing to complain about. The first time, the pizza was half-cooked and had too much oregano—too much to make you sneeze—and it tasted only of oregano. The second time, it was better, with less oregano but a bit burnt on some sides. The pizza is also too light and thin and not filling at all, not to mention the toppings (almost nonexistent). Honestly, this pizza isn't worth the price. I hope it improves in the future.

Good pizzas!!! I honestly like it very much, the decor is too modern for my taste.

Historic pizzeria in Carrù, which has also been open for breakfast and other meals for a while now. The pizza is good. The owners are friendly and helpful.
