Yesterday's trip out to Caraglio took us to this trattoria in Valgrana. The food was plentiful and authentic, just like the owner. Always remember that a good book isn't chosen by its cover.

A village trattoria offering traditional cuisine at very competitive prices. The cuisine is truly excellent, featuring products from their own farm and other local producers. The food is authentic and the portions are generous. The friendly and welcoming owner makes you feel immediately welcome.

We had a great meal and received a very warm welcome at this inn, which hosted us for the afternoon. A great place to stay (even without speaking Italian)!
