12/09/2025: We waited almost an hour for pizzas after the recent merger with Gusto Divino (a terrible choice). After 53 minutes, they brought us two small plates to share, one of which was dirty. The pizzas were okay, although the menu is particularly limited, and even though all three of us ordered different pizzas, they all had the same ingredients, with a few small variations. There are many great places in Saluzzo, but this isn't one of the lucky ones.

18/10/2025: I was lucky enough to celebrate my 50th birthday in this wonderful location. The cuisine was excellent, and Francesco and the entire staff were not only professional, but also welcoming, empathetic, and helpful. Everything was truly perfect. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, not just for a 50th birthday celebration, but for other informal occasions. The place, surrounded by nature, is truly splendid!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!! NADIA

26/08/2025: We ate at this farmhouse, we had a great time and compliments to all the staff.

01/11/2025: The food quality was poor for the price. We were served a plate of tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms that was the equivalent of pasta with butter. When we pointed this out, we sent the plate back, and were completely ignored. For two appetizers and two first courses, a half bottle of wine and two coffees, €90. Really too much.

31/10/2025: We were delighted with our meal; the fried eggs and tagliatelle were truly enhanced with white truffle! A real treat. To finish, we enjoyed a black truffle panna cotta! A restaurant that deserves to be better known, although it was practically full tonight!

16/09/2025: We returned to the Langhe for the second time for a tasting at Vite Colte, and inevitably, I can't help but compare it to my first experience at another winery. Unfortunately, overall, this second visit was less convincing. But let's start with the strong points: the facility is truly splendid. The architecture is meticulously designed to guide visitors through the various stages of winemaking. The aesthetics evoke the region, both in its colors and in its references to Piedmontese tradition. The barrel room is undoubtedly the most evocative part and represents the true jewel of the winery. The guide was very kind and knowledgeable, especially regarding the facility and the general winemaking processes. A few questions about the wines currently being produced remained unanswered, but overall the explanation was clear. Perhaps due to the tight schedule, I found the visit a bit rushed: personally, I would have preferred a slower pace and more informal interaction. Moving on to the tasting, unfortunately, I was the biggest disappointment. I had purchased the package on Freedom, which included two Barolos, a Barbaresco, and a Nebbiolo. In reality, we were served a Barolo, a Nebbiolo, a Sauvignon Blanc, and a Barbera d'Asti. Furthermore, the explanation of the wines was given all at once, leaving us to taste them on our own, accompanied by a platter of excellent cured meats, cheeses, and breadsticks. A more engaging approach, with a guided tasting step by step, would have made the experience much more interesting. That said, I still recommend visiting Vite Colte: the place is truly worth it and leaves a lasting impression. With a little more attention to the tasting, it could be an unforgettable experience.

15/10/2025: Everything would be 5 stars. But it's let down a bit by the wait (though the place was packed) and the room temperature, which was a bit too warm. And not just for me, who suffers a lot from the heat. But the downsides are more than offset by the excellent pizza and also by the friendliness that is evident from the pizza chefs.

11/06/2025: Wonderful cuisine with fresh ingredients, artistically presented. The restaurant itself is set on a hillside overlooking the stunning vine-covered valley. The service was impeccable as well. If you need a taxi, just message the restaurant in advance. They are extremely helpful!

The menu is simple and informal, the dishes are delicious with an emphasis on the taste of the ingredients, the experience. The friendly and professional staff further enriches the experience, with useful recommendations for dishes and wines. The menu is based on local Piedmont specialties, prepared with an emphasis on tradition and seasonal ingredients, while an impressive selection of wines from the Fontanafredda cellar (from the enoteca located within the building) perfectly complements each plate, if we add to all the above a very fair price-quality ratio, this place is definitely worth a visit if your trip takes you to the beautiful Langhe region
