Excellent Easter lunch, good welcome, genuine and plentiful lunch for less than €30, shame about the weather conditions, definitely worth returning.

In Viozzene, a small village nestled in the upper Tanaro valley - a fairytale landscape - there is the Mongioie farmhouse which offers a menu made by expert hands rooted in the Piedmontese Occitan tradition, the various appetizers are excellent... the traditional first courses, the meats and special cheeses. Welcome and smiles are normal...maybe it's the mountain that unites us!!!....

Ambiente rustico e personale molto accogliente . Il menù è fisso a 30 euro a persona vino della casa incluso. Offrono un piatto di antipasti , lumache , 2 primi 2 secondi e il dolce . Qualità nella media .. i ravioli sono comprati, lumache sufficienti nella preparazione, rosbeef buono pesce scarso. Per il posto e il prezzo mi aspettavo una cucina più genuina e casalinga . Gusto totale mediocre

Beh che dire, tutto ottimo, piatti abbondantissimi e di qualità, vino della casa buono e tipica accoglienza da trattoria. Consigliatissimo per passare una piacevole serata con gli amici, e tutto ciò per un prezzo ridicolo rispetto a quello che ti servono!!!!

02/04/2024: Restaurant housed in an old farmhouse tastefully restored, possibility of having lunch outside in a pleasant and particularly quiet environment; Mrs. Silvia proved to be not only friendly, kind and helpful, but also a very good cook. The dishes we tasted were cooked with care and with excellent raw materials and great attention to the customer's needs. Prices match the quality, we will certainly return and recommend it.
16/03/2024: Restaurant in the middle of nowhere...and yet...Warm welcome and attentive owner. Excellent cuisine. Close to the highway. It's worth the detour for a good time shared

01/04/2024: Easter experience. Turin group. Both the food and the welcome were excellent. The stars were 5, but they deserve at least double. Fantastic Franchina and the friendly Pietro, with their presence and courtesy made us feel at home. The coffee served with the mocha is exceptional. Highly recommended.
