25/12/2025: We went for Christmas lunch and were very disappointed. First of all, I told them there would be a vegetarian at the table, but they hadn't noted it, so when we arrived, the appetizer was with cured meats, tartare, and shrimp. They changed it, but they did bring some hummus, two mini packaged veggie burgers, and a small piece of parmesan. Among the first courses, there were artichoke ravioli with artichoke sauce, but the ravioli were stuffed with meat. Luckily, they had offered mezzelune di magro (measured in a thin layer of walnut sauce). The second course was fried artichokes that never arrived, potatoes from the day before mixed with those grown that day, and dry bread cut from the day before. Not to mention that for the vegetarian, they only had a cheese board made at the last minute. The icing on the cake came when we got the bill. The four of us spent €280, but the menu says €60, so €240 in total. When we asked for clarification, we were told they made a mistake and that the price was €70 per person, which I find very unfair because it was their mistake, not mine. Overall, a very negative experience; I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Following the review, I was contacted, and the owner acknowledged the error on the bill and refunded me. I have no complaints about the honesty and fairness, which were greatly appreciated.

28/08/2025: The atmosphere is a bit retro... the area where it is located is not too nice.... Tasting menu with a choice of 2 types of wine €60 per person. Very well-prepared dishes but in my opinion with questionable combinations. Starter: prawn salad with peaches🤨 with fennel, apple and orange salad🙄. The first course was excellent, the fried food was a bit rubbery but overall I have to say it's a good place.

11/01/2026: My partner and I celebrated our anniversary this Sunday at Nonna Du! Everything was delicious, and the staff was kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

20/03/2026: A good restaurant in a pleasant setting. You enter the courtyard and feel like you're in a renovated cellar. Very beautiful. Good food, especially some dishes like the veal with tuna sauce.

15/03/2026: Last night I went to Ciccio's for dinner with friends. The place and atmosphere were very nice, with large, well-organized spaces. I remembered having been to the previous location next door and enjoying the food. Last night, I wasn't satisfied. I had a fillet with a vegetable flan. The fillet was flavorless, and the flan was literally "frozen" in the middle. My wife had fish, which was really poorly cooked, despite its beautiful presentation in a paper bag. To finish, I wanted to sweeten my appetite with a good Mont Blanc, but it was almost inedible! The chestnut puree, perhaps made from a low-quality industrial jam, was served with whipped cream and a lovely chocolate decoration. I recommend Ciccio's for the place and its location, but I don't recommend it for the quality of the food.

18/02/2026: I was invited, the food was excellent. I thought the cold cuts on the appetizer plate were a bit sparse, but perhaps that was agreed upon in advance. We might return to try it all again... too bad the fog is a bit of a nuisance, and the road is difficult to drive on, full of potholes and lacking road signs!

08/03/2026: A beautiful bachelor party lunch at the Gaia restaurant. We met at this restaurant among friends and new acquaintances. At the entrance, Mirco, the owner, greeted us. After looking at our shirts, he told us they were a bit out of place, but with a smile, he kindly showed us a seat. We had tagliatelle with meat sauce, followed by shank and salami with potatoes. To finish, a round of amari and limoncello. Five stars only for your patience with us, given the noise we were making. You remained professional and courteous. Well done. We will definitely return in a more modest way. 😊

17/02/2026: Gaia was a delightful discovery. I happened to see the sign while driving by, so I went for dinner the first time, and then returned twice more in 10 days. The food was excellent, the owners were friendly and helpful, and the place was welcoming. What else? I can't wait to try the outdoor seating area in the warmer months.

04/01/2026: I had a lot of positive reviews for the place, the staff was helpful and very friendly. I gave it 5 stars because it's the best, but I would have given more. I had dinner with an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert, and I was satisfied with everything. My favorite was the tiramisu. Incredible.

22/06/2025: Ho pranzato in questo agriturismo con la mia compagna una domenica di Giugno. Viste le numerose recensioni positive,ho chiamato qualche giorno prima per prenotare e nessuno mi ha comunicato che non esiste menu alla carta ma solo un menu fisso. Arrivati all’agriturismo veniamo accolti in modo cordiale e accompagnati al tavolo. Anche in questo caso nessuno ci informa della sola opzione a menu fisso. In attesa che qualcuno ci porti il menu,rimaniamo sorpresi vedendo che il cameriere inizia a portarci antipasti di carne e verdure fritte mai ordinati. Vedendo i tavoli vicini a noi ci rendiamo conto che vengono servite a tutti le stesse pietanze,tutte rigorosamente a base di carne. Il cibo era buono,non si può dire il contrario (ad esclusione dei dolci). Però non mi è piaciuta la poca trasparenza visto che,una volta arrivati in cassa,il prezzo è risultato anche piuttosto alto(45€ a testa). Considerando che io ho bevuto un solo calice di grignolino e la mia compagna acqua,non è stato chiaro neanche quali bevande fossero incluse nel menu. L’agriturismo ha del potenziale ma la gestione e la trasparenza andrebbero migliorate.

19/06/2025: Per il nostro tradizionale pranzo primaverile dei coscritti, scegliamo questo agriturismo fra le colline del Monferrato....e si è rivelata una ottima scelta!!! L'ambiente è ottenuto in un casale molto ben ristrutturato dove la sala da pranzo principale è una grande stanza con muri di bellissimo tufo locale chiaro e grandi travi a vista per l'alto soffitto. Altre stanze più riservate sono disponibili come pure un dehor esterno. Ma il servizio e cibo la fanno da padrone. È a conduzione strettamente famigliare dove tutta la famiglia è coinvolta ma il vero campione del servizio è Luigi, undici anni e figlio del proprietario Stefano e della cuoca. Vederlo servire ai tavoli è uno spettacolo, rapido, gentile e simpatico. In copia con un'altra ragazza di qualche anno in più, hanno servito per più di tre ore una cinquanta di coperti....bravi. Al cibo ci ha pensato mamma e altre persone in cucina offrendoci il meglio della cucina monferrina. Sei o sette antipasti di buona qualità comprese battute di carne, vitello tonnato, Frittelle di erbe, fiori di zucca in pastella ed altro. Agnolotti di carne buonissimi e poi...il gran fritto misto piemontese. E qui la piacevole differenza rispetto ad altri è stata di servire i vari tagli a due a due garantendo così temperatura e fragranza appena usciti dalla cucina.....prodotti di qualità, tutti i tagli tipici del fritto piemontese e abbondanti. Per finire una composizione di due semifreddi con piccola macedonia di frutta. Tutto innaffiato da Ottimo vino Grignolino, Barbera e bianco di produzione propria. Tutto il gruppo hanno elogiato la qualità dei cibi e il servizio. Bravi......Ci tornerò a novembre per il tartufo!!!
