I stumbled upon this trattoria by chance, passing through Gavi and cutting across the Bocchetta road. It was a pleasant discovery, and as soon as I can, I go to enjoy some fresh air on these sultry summer evenings and some good food, which doesn't hurt either! Highly recommended!

The cheese focaccia is amazing, no different from the one in Recco. The variations with pesto or cooked ham are also very good. I'll be back to try the tempting stockfish accomodated. Well done!

The atmosphere is very basic, but you won't find focaccia like this anywhere else. The pansoti and stocaffisso accomodato are also exceptional. I'll definitely be back to try more, along with the focaccia pizzata, which left a truly enticing trail. I hope these simple, family-run places never disappear.

A pleasant lunch stop at the restaurant, which reopened in early April. Simple, carefully crafted dishes are prepared by an expert chef with extensive and formative professional experience at Ristorante Lino and the Tossini brothers' culinary workshops, both in Recco. A family-friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices. I'll be back.

A simple place that makes you feel like you're at grandma's house. We had delicious trofie with pesto, walnut pansotti, and an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, all accompanied by delicious homemade focaccia. Wine, water, and coffee for two cost €58.50. Friendly staff, recommended!

30/06/2026: A very well-kept, charming, and well-decorated place located near the university and popular with students. The staff is friendly and helpful, the service is quick, and the prices are more than fair. I recommend it for a great breakfast or brunch near the city center.
17/06/2026: I have to say that this morning, since there were no croissants left, I got a Venetian one, and unfortunately, it can't compare to the croissants I consider the best in Novara. It wasn't soft at all, in fact, it was very compact and not at all risen. It didn't even seem like it was freshly made. A negative experience.
