04/12/2025: Good choice of traditional Italian dishes. Portions are big (tables are tiny) and food is delicious. Unfortunately, impression was ruined by the very poor service.
01/12/2025: Walking into a chain restaurant usually means keeping expectations low. Obicà did the opposite and showed that a chain can still deliver excellent ingredients and well executed dishes.
The BUFALA pizza was spot on with an airy crust and clean, real flavor.
The smoked mozzarella DOP ball was outstanding with its soft texture and deep, rich taste that fills your whole palate.
Service was the weak link. Slow, scattered and missing a firm managerial presence. Yes, we arrived during a busy hour, but it still affected the experience.
Despite that, this place is definitely worth a visit, especially if you appreciate genuinely good mozzarella.

05/11/2025: A simple midweek lunch. The menu was very poor; I ordered grilled sausage and a side of boiled potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The sausage was overcooked and very salty, and the side was barely adequate. I don't think it was a coincidence that not a single worker was visible among the customers.

Excellent and plentiful.
22/09/2025: Twice we went to eat a piece of grilled beef. Ordered medium, served maybe a little rare, but tender and excellent. Pasta with porcini mushrooms was also very good. Waitress friendly and efficient. Price a little high justified by the quality.

All the fish...exquisite ravioli...topped with a very delicate sauce and a special fried fish.
Excellent house dessert: classic tiramisu and also pistachio.
I recommend everyone to go.
Because it's truly worth it.
10/10/2025: A quick lunch in Gavi after my wife and I visited the beautiful fort this morning. Having been unable to find a table at the trattoria we'd planned, a passerby recommended this place just outside the historic center. Since the fixed-price menu (15 euros) didn't have anything that appealed to us, we had lunch à la carte, ordering gnocchi with pesto and ravioli with ragu, washed them down with a bottle of beer. Large portions, good pesto, and the ravioli weren't bad either. Service was quick and courteous. The restroom, however, was in a rather run-down condition, with a door that wouldn't close. The final bill was 31 euros, with a cover charge of 1.50, as per the attached receipt.

09/11/2025: I went to Casale specifically to try this A.I.C. pizzeria, but I didn't like the gluten-free pizza at all... it was very tough, I struggled to cut it... it seemed unleavened... 😪😪
On the other hand, the tagliata was excellent... but I won't be returning for that... what a shame!
The main dining room was nice, but the inside dining room where we were was unfortunately really noisy, but that was because there was a birthday party.

Reasonable prices, pleasant setting in a quiet alley.

27/10/2025: A culinary experience from a bygone Italy. We visited this restaurant with a vintage atmosphere for a Sunday lunch. The set menu is generous and very reasonably priced. Some dishes, like the agnolotti, were exceptional. Recommended if you want to try authentic Monferrato cuisine. My only complaint is that I would have liked a smaller wine list.

14/07/2025: We stayed two nights at this hotel and had a great time! The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The linens smelled great, and the room was quiet despite being on the road. It's just a few kilometers from the city center, easily accessible on foot.
28/05/2025: I have been to Gianduia for more than a year for work reasons. Alessandria was managed by Mrs. Renata and her daughter. It was beautiful as a place and everything else.

28/10/2025: This is where the restaurant is rated, and it gets an excellent rating. Finally, here too, the history of family cooking is rediscovered. But there's also a focus on new dishes, with a distinctive touch of culinary skill that many trendy restaurants in metropolitan areas forget. The wines (red in the case of our lunch) selected by the restaurateur were all completely satisfying in terms of taste. The need to also cater to vegetarian/vegan guests led to the discovery of delicious flavors, with dishes that, just by looking at them, inspired everyone to try them. And it was all delicious. Ideal for small tables, but for larger groups, it leaves even more room for fun. At very fair prices. Amazing! We'll always return!
