28/10/2025: After a casual visit to the city (we'll be back), Veronica and I stopped in for lunch. It was very crowded, but we were warmly welcomed. The reason for the crowds was the small size of the place, but above all, the deliciousness of the dishes (which were also beautifully presented). We were served after a short wait, and thoroughly enjoyed them! For people like us, who care more about the content than the ceremony, this place is perfect. The desserts, which are homemade, are also noteworthy: highly recommended! As for the dishes, if you can, come back often and try them all (I, a vegetarian, only a few). For photos, I've only included the menu; I'll leave you with the curiosity of going there, seeing them in person, and above all, eating them; they won't last long, and you'll devour them in moments.

09/10/2025: We always stop for lunch on Sundays when returning from Liguria. The food is delicious, the prices are excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

03/11/2025: We stopped in by chance the first time, on a Sunday when we thought no one would be able to give us anything to eat because lunchtime was well past. But with the place still full, they welcomed us warmly. Now, since it's on a route we travel frequently, it's become a go-to spot during the week too, offering quality, home-cooked food at a more than fair price. Congratulations!

11/07/2025: Da qualche tempo volevamo ritornare in questa Steak House di livello ed abbiamo approfittato di una fresca e tranquilla serata nonché di una bella offerta . Provata una Manzetta Scozzese davvero ottima per frollatura,sapore e cottura e mia moglie un tris di carni il tutto bagnato con una fresca Sangria. Servizio puntuale e cortese, torneremo a breve con amici e più appetito.

28/05/2025: Excellent aperitif with a generous buffet, lovely outdoor space, especially in the warmer months and when the street is closed to traffic. Varied lunch menu with vegetarian options.

26/10/2025: I'll gladly return for the first time. The food was super good and plentiful. The waiters were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

25/10/2025: Today I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary with a part of my family, and we had a wonderful time. The service was fast and perfect, and the dishes were excellent and enjoyed by everyone, including seniors, children, and vegetarians. We'll be back.

11/11/2025: We booked after seeing the many positive reviews, and I must say it even exceeded our expectations. The appetizers and agnolotti were excellent. The recommended menu also included a main course, but given the generous portions of agnolotti, we didn't make it. The atmosphere is rustic but welcoming, with an old-world feel. From the outside, it doesn't look particularly appealing, but the interior is very well-kept. The owners are friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

09/11/2025: Located outside the center of Casale Monferrato, this restaurant is highly recommended for its simplicity, the kindness of the staff, and above all for its devastating first courses, made with homemade pasta (I had the pappardelle with venison and berries, my partner the agnolotti, and my friend the tagliatelle with chestnut flour and pumpkin). We fell in love!

01/10/2025: We have just had the most delightful experience at Ristorante Orazio dal 1870. Top to bottom, everything was outstanding. I highly recommend.

01/10/2025: While exploring Lu, my wife and I stopped at Ristorante Orazio for lunch and had an exceptional experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. Even though our Italian is less than perfect, they were very gracious and welcoming. The food was outstanding. A special highlight was the scaloppini, which wasn’t listed on the menu fisso, but our server let us know it was an option. It was absolutely delicious—fall apart melt-in-your-mouth tender, without actually falling apart. A true standout. Portion sizes were solid, if not a bit on the generous side. The menu fisso offered fantastic value. We were so full we shared a dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish. We were already making plans to go back before we even finished our meal. I would highly recommend Ristorante Orazio to anyone visiting Lu or the surrounding area!

01/10/2025: The atmosphere is a bit retro but well-maintained. Fast and courteous service. We ate taiarin with delicious mushrooms and perfectly cooked fried mushrooms. Truly excellent. The only drawback is that there is no printed menu, but the dishes are announced verbally. The bill, however, was fair.

20/09/2025: Wonderful dishes, excellent food, beautifully cooked. The fried porcini mushrooms were the best and most delicious I've eaten in years, and, not least, the value for money was amazing. I highly recommend them; in my opinion, they're one of the best restaurants in the area.

23/08/2025: We found it by chance and were very satisfied! A very cute retro place, very friendly staff, and delicious pizzas with a wide selection. Both the lager and the red beer are very good! But the coffee served in the coffee maker is top-notch! Compliments to the staff!!!
