09/10/2025: Tradition begins with innovation. Here they artfully and deliciously combine both. Great wines combine with fantastic and interesting dishes. Friendly and efficient service. Our waitress spoke impeccable English and the host/owner is a gem. Uh oh…. We returned tonight. It has defiitely changed for the worse. Terribly slow service even though hardly anyone there. We were five people. Nothing anyone ordered was actually good. I guess the most tasteless vitello tonnato I’ve ever had. A stale glass of Barbera from a bottle thst had been left open way too long. The salad we ordered never came but we were charged for it. Forget it.

09/09/2025: Dinner with friends on a Saturday in a quaint, well-maintained, and clean location. Welcoming and helpful staff, excellent quality ingredients, decent portions, carefully presented plating, and service time appropriate to the food, which is mostly freshly prepared. Excellent bread and focaccia baked in their own oven. The quality/price ratio was in line with other restaurants in the same category. Since we didn't order wine (as we're teetotalers) or dessert, the bill came to around €40 per person.

23/03/2025: Pranzato per la prima volta la scorsa settimana,menu vario porzioni abbondanti prezzi competitivi.Ordinato strozzapreti con salsiccia e radicchio particolarmente apprezzati perchè senza l'aggiunta di panna che di solito viene messa nelle ricette in bianco;discreta anche la parmigiana di melanzane. Penso che tornero' per provare altri piatti.

20/10/2025: We had lunch on a Sunday at this farmhouse, where we'd tried several times but failed. We had a great time, delighted by the wonderful location. Eating outside in the garden on a beautiful sunny day is a must-try, for its beauty and tranquility. The food was good, though perhaps the wait was a bit long at the beginning, but overall it was good. Furthermore, after lunch, we went to visit the Crea Monastery, 1 km from the farmhouse. It was a beautiful day, and we recommend it to everyone.

09/10/2025: Very nice place, surrounded by greenery... Very kind staff, very generous portions (they went with seconds of practically the whole menu)... Everything was very good especially the fritters and the first course which were really excellent :) very fair price for the quality and quantity ❤️

10/11/2025: I went in November 2025 with my partner. We booked directly by phone with the owner. The place is beautiful, right in front of the Marian Shrine of Crea in the small square. We had a problem with the reservation as soon as we arrived, but it was resolved within minutes by the owner, who gave us a table. Paola is a character, the beating heart of the place, a whirlwind. As soon as you meet her, you're perplexed, but by the end of the meal, you never want to leave her. She's affable, frank, genuine, honest... In short, she wins you over. Along with the two young chefs in the kitchen—the owner's daughter—their cooking is sublime, I'd dare say divine, considering the religious setting. A young Thai woman, very sweet and knowledgeable, will serve you at your table, and will attend to your every need. Beyond the food, if you enjoy walking, I recommend the devotional trail of the 23 chapels, which climbs the sacred mountain of Crea, allowing you to experience nature, history, and spirituality. We did it before lunch; without rushing, it'll take about an hour, climbing up the hills and taking in the panoramic views of Monferrato. At the end of the evening, Treville, just a few kilometers away, boasts its church of Sant'Ambrogio and its panoramic view of Monferrato, where you can watch the sunset—spectacular! Returning to Ristorante Crea, we ate a complete Piedmontese appetizer for two and some grilled vegetables. We couldn't miss the agnolotti ai tre arrosti (a kind of three-roast agnolotto) and tagliolini with rabbit sauce, both in white sauce—spectacular. We also had two glasses of Barbera Superiore and coffee, accompanied by squares of a dessert, made entirely in their kitchen, freshly baked that day. They call it Panettone (they ship it all the way to Japan). For me, that's an understatement; it was so good, soft, moist, and just the right amount of sweet, so much so that I bought one from their store and will have some shipped to me for the Christmas holidays. I've been thinking a lot about how to do justice to that delicious dessert they make with sourdough starter. Given its exquisite sweetness, its origins—a sacred Marian place—and its unique shape, I'd call it the "Sweet Chest of Creation." Don't worry, Paola, if you use it, I'll give you all the rights. In fact, it would be an honor to help give your creation further visibility. I only ask that you pay attention and be considerate when Luisa and I come back to visit you... Because we'll definitely be back, you're so talented! Crea Restaurant is a place where you can enjoy harmony and peace, in a warm and welcoming environment, among genuine, true friends, like Paola, who will always be there, ready to welcome you. 01/10/2025: I'm from Genoa, but I have to say that since I had the chance to eat the farinata made with only farinata, I haven't changed my mind. It's the best I've ever eaten, and the place is very clean, and the owners are very kind and helpful. Try it.

11/11/2025: Terrible experience, not to be repeated. The service was extremely slow, and the dishes were definitely frozen. The atmosphere was nice but dirty. Never again.

21/09/2025: I happened to be in Valenza for work on a Saturday in September. Chef Illi, along with his wife Linda, welcomed my colleagues and I to their restaurant in a superb manner. We ate very well, and the service was truly top-notch, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The chef immediately approached us to let us taste a dish fresh from the oven. Afterward, we hadn't ordered wine, but the chef offered us a glass because he wanted us to fully enjoy the dish we'd ordered. The bread, which was very good, is made in-house with sourdough. We met two professionals with a capital P, which isn't something you get often. If I ever pass through Valenza again, I'll definitely be back.

24/08/2025: Four of us had lunch at this restaurant in Valenza, on their beautifully landscaped and pleasant outdoor terrace. We really enjoyed it: the food was good, well-prepared, and the relaxing atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. A welcoming place where we ate well and spent a pleasant time together. Recommended!

23/11/2025: I found this place by chance on a day returning from Milan. The classic appetizer, veal with tuna sauce (very tender), was good; the tajarin with truffles was good (though, in my opinion, the Parmesan cream toned down the truffle flavor a bit); and the pork tenderloin with mustard/honey cream was good (if I remember correctly). The only small drawback was the wine served by the glass (very modest and well below the belly of the glass). In any case, I plan on returning.

22/11/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, everything was good but not outstanding. I had the veal with tuna sauce, good, tender... unfortunately too cold... The service wasn't quite up to par either; we were served by a young woman (she definitely didn't go to hotel management school, considering she put the cutlery on the left 🤣). She'll need to gain experience. Everything was good but could be improved. My criticism is constructive... a little more attention to detail.
