09/08/2024: There is no parking available on site. You should use the signposted parking lot. In addition to the seats in the courtyard, there are also a few tables in front of the restaurant. My starter came at the same time as the others' main course, which is not appropriate in my opinion. The dishes vary greatly in scope. The salad was very extensive whereas the fish was very manageable in size.

20/07/2024: Aperitif dinner with family. They reserved the little room in front of the entrance for us, enough space for about ten people as many as we were. Good quality food and service. The detailed description of the products offered, both food and drinks, is also good. Good service, constant presence but never intrusive or annoying to ask and/or see if everything was going well. If I really have to find a flaw it is in the furnishings made, probably for "trend", of reusing tables and chairs which unfortunately are not the maximum comfort for those who remain seated and consume. Advised.

We received a good explanation of the menu. In our vacation a lot of Italian restaurants visited but this one is one to remember.

They recommended this fish shop with restaurant to us and we never expected such a surprise; in addition to the freshness and great variety offered in the Grand Plateau of raw dishes, there are many options on the menu for every palate. Attentive and kind service, bright and tastefully furnished restaurant. Amuse-bouche of fried schille, Grand plateau of raw ham and fregola, clams, courgettes and courgette flowers. we will return to try their skewers which have intrigued and enticed us.

31/07/2024: Wundervoll erhaben gelegen auf dem Sacre Monte di Varese. Toller Ausblick. Schönes Zimmer. Design Highlight: sichtbarer Fels hinter einer gusseisernen Wendeltreppe rauf in die Maisonette. Wir hatten eine entspannte und ruhige Zeit. Idealer Rückzugsort, um der brütenden Hitze des Tals zu entfliehen. Da das Restaurant Ruhetag hatte, speisten wir sehr gut im fussläufigen Hotel Colonne. Das Hotel selbst war sehr ruhig, da in einer Sackgasse, die nur zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Danke

28/08/2024: We ate here 3 times during our 1 week vacation. Absolutely recommended! There is nothing comparable nearby in terms of ambience, service and food. You can eat something unusual and more expensive as well as very inexpensive and still very tasty.

27/05/2024: We tried the lunch menu and were satisfied. The place is welcoming and quiet, the staff courteous and the service attentive. Both the carbonara and the Marsala risotto are tasty, and the salmon trout fillet with stuffed tomatoes is also pleasant. The lemon sorbet, however, although mixed with vodka, was too sweet, probably industrial.
