09/10/2025: Excellent place in every way! I often go there with a friend and we're always satisfied. You can choose between excellent pizza or more complete dishes. The quality is always high, the staff is friendly, and the prices are fair. I recommend it to everyone!

08/10/2025: I organized a birthday dinner for 16 people. I booked and asked if I could bring the cake from outside, and they said yes, no problem. We arrived at 7:30 PM; we ordered at 7:45 PM, the drinks arrived at 8:15 PM, and the food was served at different times between 8:45 PM and 9:30 PM. The tables that arrived after us ate first; the waiters excused themselves by saying there had been a mix-up in the kitchen. I should point out that out of 16 people, 10 had pizzas!! The food wasn't even the best. At 10:00 PM, I asked for the cake to be brought. When paying, the "cake service" charge was also added to the receipt, at the modest sum of €22.50. I think it's fine to charge for the cake service, but it would be fair to inform the customer when they book. Highly discouraged!!!!!!!! Never again!!!!1!1

15/10/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday, October 12, 2025. Everything was excellent. The location was very quiet, and the dishes were very good and satisfying, even in terms of quantity. The difference was made by the two guys who looked after us. Professional, reliable, kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the dishes and wines. Absolutely recommended!!

18/09/2025: Simply fantastic! Great value for money. Unfortunately, the outdoor seating is on the street, but it's very quiet and there's little traffic. We'd love to come back.

04/08/2025: Very cool place, with delicious coffee and pastries! The service is fast, they are very kind, and if you eat there, they bring your order to your table. "Homely", heartwarming, it was always a good feeling to go in and sit there. I recommend it to everyone! :)

15/08/2025: Passing through Varese for an appointment we found the restaurant to be a beautiful location with praiseworthy service and dishes.

10/06/2025: Very good experience in this restaurant with friendly and smiling servers! The food is excellent, the portions are adequate. We ate on the terrace where the atmosphere is really intimate. I recommend without hesitation 👍

15/10/2025: I went to The Cave pub and had a blast! On Thursday nights they host cabaret workshops, and it's truly a unique show. The atmosphere is cheerful and welcoming, with laughter from start to finish and a fantastic energy. A hilarious evening that I absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to spend time in good company and have a good laugh!

09/10/2025: I was passing by and stopped by chance. Nice place, a charming location because it's on the lakeshore. The pizza is good. I recommend booking because I was lucky to get a table.

03/10/2025: Wonderful setting, great service and the pizzas were terrific. I had the Napoli - just the right amount of anchovies. Wine by the carafe was delicious. It's a regular place to eat when I come and stay at my uncle and aunt.

11/10/2025: The food was absolutely fine, but as usual, no bread with olive oil was served beforehand. The service was completely unfriendly; you felt like you were supposed to leave immediately, which was also evident in the reactions of other guests. We weren't even thanked for our generous tip. We always go to the pizzeria when we visit Maccagno, but the service and friendliness have never been this bad. We're guests, whether it's peak or off-season, so you can still behave differently. What a shame 🤷‍♂️

12/10/2025: A restaurant with a well-kept and elegant atmosphere... a bread tray shaped like a half-bottle of wine... The dining room staff were very attentive and quick, and knowledgeable about every detail of each dish... Each course was astonishing in its flavor and pairings. We chose and enjoyed a mix of appetizers, some with truffles, a spectacle... the tagliatelle with mushrooms was truly out of this world! Excellent wine list... Tasty desserts... Great value... We'll be back, it's worth it.

Today, Antica Pizza embodies all of this, and the result is self-evident, with excellent quality and so much passion that you can feel as soon as you enter. Giorgia leads you to a large table, and as soon as you sit in the comfortable armchairs, the journey begins through the sensations, flavors, and colors that will last the entire evening. The discreet background music pleasantly accompanies you. Each dish highlights the attention to detail and passion expressed by Chef Silvio, who from early in the morning prepares and analyzes every detail. 06/10/2025: Wonderful as always! We celebrated my mom's birthday and what can I say? The fish was so fresh, the appetizers were fabulous, and the tart was delicious (naturally homemade)! They also cater to kids with special dishes! I love Olio! The staff is incredibly kind and professional. They do everything they can to make their customers happy.

09/08/2025: I've been frequenting this restaurant since the last century, and there's a reason for that. The menu offers four or five options per course, and some dishes have remained unchanged over the years. I can't get enough of the Alba-style raw meat, which is presented in a variety of ways. Both meat and seafood first and second courses are available, and every dish is meticulously crafted, from the individual ingredients to the final presentation. The bread, oil, and vinegar are not random, the coffee selection is meticulous, and every detail is carefully crafted. Vittorio is a profound wine connoisseur and a very affable restaurateur. In the kitchen, his sister and son contribute to creating the various delicacies, and Maria is always attentive to what's happening at the tables. I think it's clear that I'm always happy to return here!

10/10/2025: After a long time, I finally managed to visit this restaurant, and I had a great time. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, small but charming location. What can I say about the food? Delicious and excellent quality. I highly recommend it if you're in Varese.
