06/06/2026: One of those beloved places you encounter sooner or later in life. The kindness and courtesy of the owners, the beauty of the location, the magical landscape with its view of Lake Lugano and the chestnut groves (now in bloom... incredibly fragrant), and the exquisite food, skillfully and lovingly prepared by chefs Davide and Renato with the help of Simona in the dining room. An enviable combination that makes Grottino a place you simply must return to. Sometimes we travel across regions and provinces without knowing the true gems of our Varese and Insubria region. Let's "exploit" and savor our gems.
