03/11/2025: We stayed in the king suite. The apartment was beautiful, very clean, and tastefully furnished. The pool on the terrace is fabulous for spending a few hours relaxing and in privacy. 🥰 The property is in a quiet location, close to various points of interest in the area. The owner is very kind and available for any need. If we have the opportunity, we will definitely return.

03/09/2025: We had dinner on Sunday evening and it was a great experience. I promise that next time, since I'm from Bari and therefore used to seafood, I'll try the fried river fish 😂

29/08/2025: A very nice place with a swimming pool in the summer for those who want to swim or have an aperitif near the pool. In the winter when you eat inside there is a fireplace, excellent. The food is good, all local and Mantuan food. The staff and owner are friendly. One of my favorite restaurants, I go there every now and then with great pleasure. I recommend it.

20/10/2025: A very picturesque location on the Po River, and we ate really well. The appetizer portions were small for the price. The wait was almost an hour and a half. The owner was really rude when we pointed this out, and she doesn't know how to deal with customers. He, however, was very kind, and even gave us some Ferrarese bread.

05/10/2025: I've been frequenting this restaurant for years and have always been satisfied with the food. Last night I went with friends and everyone ate well, except my partner. He ordered risotto alla pilota, which was decidedly overcooked (it tasted like rice cooked the day before). I hope this review helps prevent such surprises.

05/11/2025: We went to dinner at this restaurant in Mantua on the recommendation of our B&B host. The place is truly large, with several rooms that can accommodate many people. What's confusing is the style: each room has a different, confusing look, a strange mix of old and new that often clashes. The menu is more like an instruction book...pages and pages of dishes, from meat appetizers to seafood main courses, five pages of pizzas, three pages of desserts (and by pages, I mean A4 sheets), a practically endless selection of dishes that can be confusing. In the end, we settled on two pizzas, a fried fish platter, and three desserts. Overall, everything was good, the service was quick and attentive, and the prices were fair. I would highly recommend streamlining the menu and giving the restaurant a more uniform look. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

03/11/2025: A truly welcoming and refined place, with a vintage atmosphere full of charm and memories of the past that makes you feel immediately at home. The service is impeccable, attentive, knowledgeable, and always friendly. The cuisine is excellent: tripe worthy of applause, tasty and generous cold cuts for the appetizer, accompanied by a house Lambrusco of great character. And to finish, delicious desserts that perfectly round off a truly pleasant experience. An authentic place, where you can breathe in tradition and a passion for good food. Highly recommended!

13/11/2025: In Sabbioneta, the museums are closed from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM... We really have to have lunch :-) Gnocco fritto appetizer. Enough for two and truly excellent. We then enjoyed a plate of tortelli and maccheroncini with duck. Half a liter of wine and water. Recommended also for the friendliness of the owner who waits at the tables.

20/09/2025: We came on Saturday morning: the fried gnocco and pumpkin tortelli were special! Good service, maybe a little slow, but highly recommended!

25/10/2025: Una certezza ! Frequento questo ristorante da tanti anni e non sono mai uscito deluso. Pasta e ravioli fatti in casa, piatti della tradizione locale e ottima carta dei vini. Alberto, il titolare/maitre/factotum attento e professionale. Altamente consigliato.
