We stopped in Mantua during this long weekend and discovered a real gem in the small Andes restaurant, from the food to the staff, especially the young people, who were truly courteous and professional.

This restaurant and osteria serves traditional, authentic cuisine. We ordered two appetizers (a charcuterie board and a purple cabbage flan) and two first courses (capunsei and pumpkin tortelli), all delicious! Excellent value, very friendly staff! We'll definitely be back.

A family-run osteria in a beautiful and quiet courtyard, away from the hustle and bustle. The food was delicious, although the meat was a bit overcooked (but I hadn't ordered it cooked to a specific doneness). The service was very attentive and the atmosphere was great in the early evening!

Beautiful location in the center of Mantua, very friendly staff, for typical dishes I recommend the bigoli alla mantovana and the risotto alla pilotta

Good food, but not stellar, the service cold and dry.
The bill was expensive, but I'd say it's in line with other restaurants in the area.
We tried it, but I don't think we'll be back.

I was able to eat the pumpkin tortelli even though I'm lactose intolerant because they're made with clarified butter, which is why I got a 5* rating. Good selection of traditional dishes. Very friendly staff.

Greeted by the father along the road, a person with a unique kindness right from the start... small and very welcoming location... it feels like being at home, very attentive and very knowledgeable staff, an appetizer of local cured meats (special), a risotto pilota (typical dish of the area very good, a flavorful but at the same time enveloping taste overall not to mention their super special desserts... the best chocolate cake with zabaglione ever in my life and compliments on the torta di rose I haven't eaten one this good in a very long time. I will be back soon and once again our compliments... everything was so good that we didn't waste time taking any photos, reason to come back 🤗🤗
