Trattoria Bar La Rustica In Mantova

Last night with friends there were 7 of us and I decided to go and eat rustica... And we overdid it, that is, we tried a pizza for 7 while we waited... The appetizer... Pizza, 10 out of 10 even 15 out of 10... For our tastes... The appetizer was fried dumplings, it was 100%, then the women had tortellini in broth, which we tasted and were very good. We men had pumpkin tortelli... Adorable... Then for the second course, truly unique ribs, that is, soft to cut and fabulous to taste. With vegetables and boiled potatoes, very good... We gave up on dessert because we were very full, but the manager brought us some local sbrisolona for dessert. Well, I can say that it is truly recommended. The place is from the 60s and 70s but kept very well, like a small museum with old things to admire... The price is normal considering what we ate... we will return because it is worth it

From Monday to Friday, an evening menu is offered, but on Saturdays and Sundays only pizza is available. The value for money is excellent.

I ate at La Rustica on two evenings. The first night, I was very satisfied with my choice; the second, I was a bit disappointed because I only found out on site that the restaurant is closed on Saturday evenings, with only the pizzeria open. Having called to make a reservation, it would have been appreciated if they had been informed of this. Other customers, like me, were also disappointed when they only found out once they arrived. The pizza was good, but the overall experience suffered due to the lack of communication.
