26/06/2025: Excellent wine list and great care in choosing genuine products as the basis of the dishes offered. Appetizers with really delicious cold cuts, giardiniera and other vegetables offered as appetizers really excellent. First courses of the tradition for example I really liked the capunsei with butter and sage others took agnoli or tortelli with various condiments, all strictly homemade. We did not try the second courses because the appetizer and first course were abundant. Adequate and average bill. The only flaw in my opinion, but it is a matter of personal taste, the dark colors of the recently renovated rooms second, very "cool", but at least for me not very welcoming and a bit dark. Attentive and discreet service. Overall definitely worth trying, even in a large group like ours because the Service proved to be up to the needs of all the diners.

14/07/2025: On Sunday we had lunch at this restaurant and it was very good! The owner is a very kind and friendly person and the food is always very good and fresh! Every time I go to Mantua I go and eat there.

27/05/2025: A characteristic trattoria in the center of Mantua. It offers a selection of typical dishes but also national ones. Correct quality-price, taking into consideration the location and the quality of the products. I opted for: -tuna fillet with grilled vegetables. Definitely a more formal service than that of a standard trattoria, well-kept and very welcoming location.

02/06/2025: Well what can I say, a wonderful location, for many occasions created in the interior of the Mantua countryside, truly an oasis of peace with an immense and well-kept garden equipped with three swimming pools, the rooms are inside an ancient farmhouse where you can still see the signs of time, the renovation, excellent, has not distorted the ancient side of the structure but where even the modernity of some architectural choices do not clash at all. The staff is incredible, they make you feel at home, quality service and the food truly sublime,

11/04/2025: We went for a business lunch away, high expectations given the atmosphere, which were met without any problems right from the starter. The staff were very nice: friendly and genuine, already recommended to a relative who lives nearby. Suitable for occasions but also for a quiet working lunch, without notes.

14/06/2025: I have been to Portobello twice to eat with my daughters.. We had a great time.. very kind staff and really excellent food. The first time I had pizza and chips.. the second time I had pasta with speck, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes really super good 👍🏼 and then chips, and sorbet.. I recommend this place I had a great time.

11/05/2025: I went with my family to eat for Mother's Day, a place with convenient parking, the staff was friendly, I found the service fast, we ordered pizzas and first courses and they were all delicious, the only thing was the lemon sorbet, I found it a little too liquid but still very good

17/08/2025: Based on my experience, I can only rate the restaurant and not the rooms, since I'm a local resident and didn't need to use the hotel service. As for the restaurant, I can say that the cuisine is typical Mantuan, traditional, and I found the staff to be very kind and helpful. If you're looking for an elegant setting with the comfort of home, this is definitely the place. Highly recommended.

15/08/2025: I'm staying at this wonderful place. It's a great location, quiet, clean, and tidy. The owners are wonderful people, ready to accommodate our every need. And the restaurant, what can I say? It's top-notch! I highly recommend it all!

29/06/2025: I happened to be there for lunch one Saturday, I thought the fishermen's trattoria had fish, but it was anything but and the food was terrible. The two of us had linguine with tomato sauce and potatoes with octopus, two bottles of water, a quarter of wine and two coffees....price 65 euros is a steal....I travel a lot for work but I've never seen a place like this...stay away

28/06/2025: Passing through San Benedetto and hungry we found this restaurant that immediately made a good impression on us for the number of trucks and cars parked. We took the fixed price menu 15 euros, good food and cooked without too many condiments a sign that it was good quality. Friendly staff and fast service, comfortable environment. I noticed good wine labels too. Nice surprise. We will return when we are in the area.

Abbiamo preso un antipasto di salumi in due buonissimi e abbondante. Due primi tipici della zona e due dolci tipici. Un bottiglia di vino mignon. Il personale presente cortese e professionale. L'acqua ci è stata portata quando ci siamo seduti al tavolo. Il prezzo giusto persino basso vista la qualità. Consigliato se siete in zona

11/08/2025: A very welcoming place, very friendly staff. Good food. We stopped by for a cycling competition last weekend and it was packed, so the wait was a bit long, but other than that, we enjoyed everything. Big shout-out to the lovely waiter who kept us entertained during our wait!
