09/12/2025: Very good freshwater fish, friendly and attentive staff, carefully prepared dishes, but there's one problem: the portions are enormous, double, I'd say more suitable for a group lunch (or dinner) than for a couple. This "problem" is solved with the takeaway trays that the knowledgeable staff provide after each course. I highly recommend it. Reservations are required.

09/12/2025: The rest area is in a truly pleasant location and has plenty of spaces—over a hundred—all served by electricity. Unfortunately, however, due to disagreements between the municipality and the management, the facility is falling into general disrepair. The restrooms and showers are in terrible condition and are only located in the upper section, near the entrance, serving about twenty campers. The lower section, which on paper would be the nicest area, lacks at least a second waste disposal point, and an additional set of restrooms and showers would be needed. I know that in many other areas these services aren't even present, but then it's worth removing everything and at least keeping the area clean and tidy. In this case, however, it would be appropriate to reduce the fee: a fee of around €15 would be more appropriate given the current conditions.

26/10/2025: A truly enjoyable lunch for two! Very friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Excellent food, generous portions, and excellent prices. Only caveat: they don't have gluten-free options yet, but otherwise, highly recommended! 👌

27/01/2026: We've used this agriturismo for our ceremonies many times and have always had a wonderful time. Their dishes are truly exceptional, and many of the products they use are made on the farm. The cured meats are exceptional, as are all the other dishes. The owners are very friendly and available to answer any questions. Highly recommended.

12/01/2026: A delightful discovery!!!! On the recommendation of a friend, we went to this restaurant. From the outside, a beautiful sign tells us we're in a place with attention to every detail, and we weren't wrong. The interior has a "family" but very well-kept atmosphere. Every detail is taken care of to make you feel like you're in a "starred" restaurant, except the prices!! The quality of the fish is excellent and the prices aren't at all high. Intrigued by the octopus and beef tongue appetizer, I ordered it and... truly excellent! The tongue melted in my mouth, and so did the octopus! Excellent food, great atmosphere, top service... we'll definitely be back! Congratulations!!

07/01/2026: Everything was fine. The place is nice, though simple, being part of a private home. The food was good, and the lady serving was very friendly. The wine list, though limited, offers an excellent selection. Recommended.

16/02/2026: Discovered on The Fork, this osteria offers traditional Mantuan dishes. The first courses are a must, and we recommend the tortelli: delicious with every flavor and topping, but the pumpkin ones are a real treat! The desserts are also excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are moderate.

19/10/2025: Gourmet lunch at a trattoria price We tried the duck tortelli (with sesame seeds and soy sauce) and the short rib tortelli. Both were exceptional; the second courses were more delicate, while the first courses had a bold flavor, but this unusual combination was definitely a perfect match. The second course was duck with fennel and orange, tender and flavorful. We finished with a delicious tiramisu, fresh and consistent, I think. Highly recommended.

15/02/2026: We stopped for lunch, unfamiliar with the place. I'll start by saying that the place was crowded, and the staff was very busy. Unfortunately, the service was truly embarrassing: we waited twenty minutes to order, another twenty for bread, and the water arrived even later. After more than 50 minutes, the appetizer arrived, and only after an hour and a half did the main course arrive. It's understandable that there were so many people, but at least there was a gesture, an explanation, but nothing. Not even when it came to the bill: silence. Not even the ritual "is everything okay?" I can imagine the girl's embarrassment, but it's not pleasant. The food is good, the prices are a bit above average but acceptable, except for drinks, which are €5. Avoid if you see more than half the tables occupied.

18/12/2025: A welcoming and informal place. The pizza and food are excellent. The service is impeccable, though not quite as good as it was in the early 2000s.

19/02/2026: We were welcomed into a small room with a wood-burning fireplace, along with another table. The menu is rich in local flavors, tasty and varied, and includes a fixed tasting menu. In the summer, you can eat outside and sometimes listen to live music. Andrea, the owner, is available to customize special menus for groups upon request. It's located in the quiet Mantua countryside. A must-visit after visiting nearby Sabbioneta.
