19/04/2026: Good, honest local cuisine, with appropriate portions. A pleasant, almost homey atmosphere, thanks in part to the three women who run it with kindness and attention. The bread is homemade, and you can taste it.
Food paired with an honest Lambrusco. Small adjustments would be enough to better showcase their work: a decent oil instead of Selex, black peppercorns instead of the dusty supermarket kind, ditto for the vinegar, and slightly less commercial cutlery. The prices are more than fair.
I would definitely return.
18/04/2026: We stopped in San Benedetto Po on our way back from Lake Garda. Not far from the highway is this little village with a stunning abbey and an exceptional trattoria in the village. The tortelli are sublime; we tried them with ragù and also with broccoli rabe. The sbrisolona with mascarpone was amazing. The chef was very kind and helpful. A family atmosphere with authentic flavors.

It was my first time in Mantua, and I think this place showcases traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation. We chose Mantuan dishes, which were delicious! The service was attentive and friendly, and they made you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

The staff and chef were extremely helpful, even though the restaurant was busy. The food was excellent and the price was very fair.
We made vegan requests, and even though the restaurant serves traditional cuisine, which is excellent, they served us fantastic mushroom pasta and delicious polenta, as well as salad and grilled vegetables.

We went there as a family. There's very little choice for children. But you have to pay €5 for a can of Coke. One can, as if you were at a motorway service station… They're trying to be high-end, but it remains just that – an attempt. For the above-average prices, I expected much more. We like to spend money on good food and good service. We didn't get either there. I'm so disappointed with the evening that I can't sleep and am now writing this review at 3:30 in the morning. The food itself is okay, and some things taste good, but it's absolutely not worth the price.
31/03/2026: We went a few weeks ago for lunch during the week. The food was excellent, the service was warm, the portions generous, and the prices were more than fair. The ambiance is only 4 stars because it's a bit dated, but it's clean and tidy. I can't recommend this place enough. A great find.

02/01/2026: I stayed at this hotel only on the night of December 31, 2025 (without dinner). The welcome was excellent, the rooms were well-appointed and well-equipped. The breakfast was plentiful and made with wholesome ingredients. Parking was available on site. The hotel is located about 10 km from Lake Garda. In Solferino, you can visit the ossuary, etc. I definitely recommend this hotel.

01/03/2026: A lovely find in Mantua! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the gelato flavors were delicious. The special with salted chamomile and white chocolate chips was out of this world! Highly recommended.
22/02/2026: Artisanal gelato just minutes from Mantua's city center. The cone, covered in melted chocolate, is superb and has a delicious flavor. Definitely worth a try.
