12/08/2024: Very clean and welcoming restaurant, the balanced and refined but not pretentious dishes reflect the talent of the young chef Francesco who puts effort and dedication into every dish. The service is very punctual and precise, the dining room staff is trained and courteous. I highly recommend the duck breast cooked at low temperature and the basil panna cotta

09/08/2024: Nice ambience and super friendly service. We loved the creations, our dishes were refreshing, especially in the summer. We enjoyed the aperitivo very much. Definitely recommended if you want a break from the regional local cuisine.

16/08/2024: We were super hungry and made our way to this restaurant to eat lunch, only to find that it was closed. It was in the middle of summer and the worst thing was it said it was open on Google Maps. The staff was there and gave no explanation. UPDATE YOUR SCHEDULE ON GOOGLE MAPS!!! Edit: The owners replied to my review. I just want to make it very clear that the staff never even spoke a single word to us to explain what was going on. Moreover, from your reply to my review and many others it is clear that you are rude and incompetent owners. This is no way to treat customers or people in general. We will definitely not be coming back! Everyone stay away from these nasty owners! As they would say, ciaoooo.

27/08/2024: Eccellent, healthy and affordable Vegetarian Lasagna 🤩. They change their menu every month or so to ensure the offering is fresh and makes the best of seasonal veggies. The place is also elegant and is the very old town of Como. As a non-vegetarian this has become my go-to place when I feel like eating healthy.

27/08/2024: It was wonderful to be here. We were looking for a vegan restaurant in Como and made absolutely the right decision. The food was delicious, the service very courteous and the price reasonable. The restaurant is located in a quiet side street in the middle of Como. Absolutely recommendable!

31/08/2024: A nice place, you can see that it was created by people with a passion for wine. You definitely will NOT drink Aperol Spritz here 😂 but if you want to try local wines - go ahead, they will surely advise you something.

30/08/2024: Such a nice place to have a glass of wine. You can take a seat both inside and outside the restaurant. Outside, mine has a great view of what is probably Bellagio's most famous alley. The staff is incredibly friendly and very accommodating. There is a large selection of wines from both the region and from outside. The prices are absolutely fair and affordable for everyone. We will definitely come back and can recommend the restaurant to everyone! Grazie 🫶🏼

17/06/2024: A wonderful bar on the corner, a good selection of beer and an owner who wants (and succeeds) to please every client👍🏻 after exploring the surrounding area or while waiting for the train to Milan - the optimal place to while away the time.

16/07/2024: We were second to enter the restaurant at 19:30 when the doors were opened. The waiter did not give us the menu. We saw that people who came after us already had the menu, so we asked and the lady said that we need to wait, as they do not have more menus. Okay... Interesting start. We ordered: 2 pastas for kids, kids said they were nice. Pumpkin flowers were nice, but nothing special. Cheese platter - nothing can be wrong with this. Beef fillet and perch - nothing special, but what made the dishes really bad was the amount of salt. My wife had perch with chanterelles. She finished her fish, though it was over salted, but mushrooms - she said impossible to eat. The waiters are overloaded with the amount of customers and we had to ask them many times to bring us wine and water. After reading the reviews on Google, I checked the final bill and found 2 extra glasses of wine that we did not drink.

29/06/2024: Make your reservation early for a lovely meal. Wait staff very helpful. Prices for both food and drinks reasonable for this area. Food is good. Bread tray was exceptional!!! we had wild boar with polenta and ravioli, Portions are good sized. Cover charge 3 Euros per person. Popular restaurant for good reason.

21/07/2024: Il Mella si conferma un posto unico dove gustare piatti della tradizione locale a base di pesce di lago che può variare in parte in base al pescato del giorno. Servizio cordiale e professionale e ambiente accogliente. I piatti hanno un ottima presentazione ma soprattutto un gusto unico. A parte i piatti intramontabili della sua cucina in altri piatti lo chef riesce a stupirci ogni volta con la sua fantasia.

19/08/2024: Beautiful little place overlooking the lake, 10/10 pizza after a long stay in the south (Naples and surrounding areas) this pizza really tastes like Neapolitan pizza, good dough, balanced and not at all heavy, to try and return

18/08/2024: Spectacular location, located in wonderfull position absolutely. Unfortunately was so so bad the pizza tomatoes was so bitter, and instead the dough very plastic. Mosquitos everywhere because of green plants I know, I was upstairs, with a spectacular view. The staff unfortunately very young and inexperienced, I think the owner does not invest in staff. Never on this place in the future.

25/08/2024: Beautiful setting, food presentation was very good but several of us found our meals extremely salty, looked better than it tasted. We arrived around seven thirty, party of seven and were accommodated without a reservation. By the end of our meal it was very busy and the service staff was overworked.

23/08/2024: In barca con 2 amici a pranzo poichè hanno il pontile di fronte. Location invidiabile con balcone sul lago e tutto molto pulito. Accoglienza sin dall'attracco molte cortese, personale preparato sorridente competente ed accogliente. Il menù è da invidia avremmo preso tutta la degustazione ma ci siamo dati un ritegno. Cantina da tutto rispetto. Chef che dalla cucina esce e saluta. Conto coerente a quanto abbiamo mangiato e bevuto. Che dire.. Esperienza fantastica! Ci tornerò.

04/08/2024: On Saturday evening, I went to this fantastic place where I was offered the polenta menu, containing 3 portions of polenta of your choice, cover charge, water and coffee for €15. I WOULD SAY A SUPER OFFER, the portions were generous and so different from each other that you fell in love with each different flavour. I also approve of the one-of-a-kind location!

27/07/2024: The route is suggestive, the place is in the middle of the woods, simple but extremely welcoming, extraordinarily kind and friendly staff, family atmosphere, excellent food! I'll become a regular! Well done!!!
