We were just out for a short bike ride and stumbled upon this restaurant. We only wanted to grab a drink and then head back. Even though evening service was just beginning, we were greeted and served very warmly, even though we only ordered drinks! They even brought us some snacks! We'd love to go there for dinner next time!!

If you're looking for a great meal on Lake Como, Restaurant LaTrave is an absolute insider tip. A fantastic restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake. The food is excellent, with fantastic pasta, fish, and meat dishes, and delicious salads. The desserts are amazing. One of the best restaurants on Lake Como. They still cook authentic Italian food here, which isn't always the case in Italy anymore. The pasta and meat dishes are simply divine; you hardly ever find anything like it on Lake Como these days. The owners, from grandmother to mother and son, have the kitchen running like clockwork, so the service is absolutely top-notch. 👍👍👍👍👍

We were there for the first time today. We were referred to it by a friend. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was of very high quality and tasted fantastic. We would recommend this restaurant anytime. We'll be back.

Had dinner on the evening of June 1st...what can I say? The location is top-notch, everything well-maintained, tidy, and clean, and the veranda is fantastic! The food was excellent. We had two house menus with appetizers, two first courses, and a mixed grill, plus dessert, all accompanied by a delicious local white wine (Domasino IGT). A fantastic evening. If I had to find a flaw, perhaps due to some issues we had that evening, it was the slow service. The waiters rarely came to the area where we were seated, making us feel a bit left out. However, working in the industry, I understand that there can be more challenging evenings...that's why they still deserve 5 stars because the location and the food make up for everything!
