30/08/2024: Two-legged and four-legged guests are equally warmly welcomed here. The innkeeper immediately makes you feel welcome with her warm-hearted manner. The dishes are really tasty across the board (we tried most of the dishes and starters). My unreserved recommendation for this sweet restaurant with heart and love in Argegno. 🫶🏻

20/08/2024: Great place with great food. It is quite a long walk to get there if you are walking from the funicular. But the owner was quite nice and offered us a ride back after dinner which was great.

19/08/2024: It was my greatest experience. My day in this restaurant was special, especially thanks to Roberto's family! My birthday was perfect. I enjoyed a beautiful evening with delicious food and a flawless wine list. Umberto (Roberto's son) has excellent taste! Nicol (Roberto's daughter) and Anastasia (Umberto's partner) were incredibly kind and made me feel like their most valued guest. Thank you so much to Mom for the cake!! I will definitely return soon, my friends! This place has remained in my heart!

Abbiamo preso come antipasto la pizza fritta, e per secondo il maialino con verdure in carpione e la manzetta abbronzata. Tutto davvero molto buono! I dolci strepitosi (il Gigante che dorme e la Valsolda in un morso). Consigliatissimo!

29/08/2024: Pleasant restaurant with a beautiful panoramic terrace on the lake side. Well-prepared local proposals at a price that is overall adequate for the area and the standard. I appreciated the local lake cuisine options. Good service. Be aware that it can be a little complicated to find parking in the peak season.

29/08/2024: Absolutely fed up with tourism! Over the summer the foreign guests were milked so well that you can treat your guests like dirt! We were left at the door for 20 minutes! No recommendation!

13/08/2024: It's wonderful to have breakfast in the shade of the tall trees. I like beautiful cups used to serve cappuccino. Kind and knowledgeable staff... a small oasis of tranquility in the middle of Cernobbio that I recommend

25/08/2024: We discovered this restaurant in Como by chance today. An absolute stroke of luck! The aperitivos were great, accompanied by a very good and lovingly prepared taglieri (7 euros). But the absolute highlight was the homemade tiramisu! Compliments to Alessandra!

19/08/2024: Eating with a beautiful view of Lake Como and the mountains. We were staying nearby and drove past la Trave upon arrival. The food is of good quality, delicious. The staff speaks English, also a plus. About the food itself: we chose the fish as antipasti. That was delicious. It might be an idea to offer a fish platter with different types of fish from Lake Como to give it a local touch. (that's what we hoped for) Then as a primi piatti the walnut ravioli (ravioli con salsa di noci) and the homemade gnochetti. Top dishes. As a secondi the beef with mushroom and the brasato con polenta. For dessert the tiramisu and the panna cotta. Top quality desserts What was a shame is that we always had to actively ask for a new drink. We walked in ourselves for both the drink with the main course and the starter. We wanted to eat with a full glass instead of an empty glass. In addition, the plastic tables are not pleasant to sit at, you can hardly fit your legs.

16/08/2024: Had lunch on mid-August 2024. The quality of the products is excellent and plentiful. The staff are helpful and kind. Location and pleasant climate...the only flaw is finding the parking...but we will definitely return!!

10/08/2024: Fascinating, romantic, elegant location. Very well trained and very kind staff. Extensive wine list. Exceptional desserts, very well prepared. As far as starters, first and second courses were concerned, they did not reflect our tastes, and personally we struggled to choose from the proposals presented.

23/07/2024: If you are looking for Italian style pizza, you will be disappointed. It is the pizza version of Turkish pita. The quality of the ingredients is not very high either. The menu is very diverse. I think it would be better to choose pasta instead of pizza. The prices are very economical. I think it is not as good as the comments.

16/08/2024: The risotto with perch is excellent! The other dishes were also very good but in my opinion a little too greasy. But that's personal taste! It's not on the lake but a stone's throw away. Recommended for a relaxing lunch.

03/09/2024: One of our most authentic dining experiences in Italy! Marco and his wife fit us in just before close but never did we feel rushed. He was kind, patient, made excellent recommendations and the food was absolutely wonderful! He even gave us so peperochinos to take home! I left very satisfied and absolutely in love with the place. When I’m next in Como, this will be a must.

11/07/2024: Delicious sandwiches made to order choosing your own ingredients, coffee and drinks were great also. There is nice background music and the owner is lovely. Freshly squeezed orange juice is just what we needed on a hot day! Great place to stop at if you are visiting Villa Carlotta or staying in the area.
