Sono stata al CO.MO bistrot sia per un aperitivo sia per un pranzo. La location è incredibile, veramente superlativa. Il servizio è discreto e gentile. Il cibo molto buono (consiglio in particolare la pasta vongole e bottarga e la focaccia con scampi crudi e avocado). Il conto è ovviamente proporzionato rispetto alla location - Sto sempre bene al Mandarin, lo consglio!

Great place to enjoy the beautiful lake Como. Nice staff even though booking a table wasn’t easy, the online booking app doesn’t work and spelling your name by phone to make a reservation - when you are not Italian, is a risky business 😅 The food was exquisite and the staff super nice. Tks a lot. Difficult to be disappointed by the Mandarin Oriental👌

What can I say? Even if the food wasn't the best in the universe the place may be the most beautiful in the known universe. A moment here is a moment lost in time. I appreciated the elevated plating and presentation of everything. The desert especially was beautiful and delicious. We were lucky to have a table right next to the water. Highly recommend making a stop here for lunch if you can! Vegan options and able to accommodate vegan / plant-based no problemo.

04/04/2024: Very kind staff, we have a celiac in our group and easy to get a gluten free pizza. Sadly no gluten free pasta options, but the gluten free pizza was lovely. Best carbonara I’ve had in a loooooong time. Great view also!
04/04/2024: The best. Beautiful view of the lake. Delicious food. Excellent service and with a smile. Inexpensive compared to other restaurants in this area. Dog friendly too, we sat with him on the terrace outside which is under cover. I think we could’ve sat inside with him if we had wanted too. I had carbonara and it was perfect, even the portion size was amazing and a good amount which I didn’t expect as it was off the ‘Primi piatti’ menu. Others in my family has swordfish pizza, mushroom pasta, vegetable pizza and pasta with fish from the lake. The pasta with fish was so garlicky and flavourful, and the swordfish pizza was very unique and tasty. Bellissimo.

31/03/2024: The products are of quality, although I thought the sandwiches were tastier. Good desserts. The place is very chaotic, there were moments during dinner where conversation was difficult.
