18/04/2024: Ho cenatato in diverse occasioni in questo locale trovandomi sempre benissimo. Oltretutto è anche possibile partecipare a degustazioni assaggiando vini eccezionali. AMBIENTE : Vecchio bar di paese rimesso a nuovo, mantenendo il bancone originale e alcuni dettagli. Tavolini abbastanza distanziati. Al di sotto del locale c'è una cantina dove oltre a conservare i vini si fa una parte del percorso di degustazione. Bagno pulito. SERVIZIO : Simone si occupa della cucina e dei vini. La moglie Stefania dell'accoglienza dei clienti. Il clima che si respira è di conviviali e si può tranquillamente conversare di cibo e vino. CIBO: Ottime piatti, con prodotti freschi e di qualità. Curato l'abbinamento con i vini durante le degustazioni. In un'occasione, abbiamo fatto richiesta a Simone di un menù personalizzato a base di tartufo. 26/08/2024: The location is excellent but managed by an inexpressive owner and staff, incapable of giving a smile, almost as if the customer is a nuisance. I appreciated the menu, I chose snails with taragna polenta and as sometimes it can happen (it shouldn't) you can find dirt between your teeth with this type of choice... Politely and in a low voice I informed the waitress what had happened advising to notify the chef... The aim was certainly not to have privileged treatment nor to have a discount but I believe that out of simple education and respect, for me who chose to spend my money trusting this Hosteria, the minimum wage would have been to receive an apology and show that you had received the report in a constructive way. I'm sorry but what I imagined didn't come true, so I think my advice is to go but always expect the best in no uncertain terms and above all no attention or kindness for those who don't know good manners. Go back to school education!

16/07/2024: We only found this bar after checking Google for recommended places to eat in Bergamo, but we're so glad we did. It is a little out of the centre of Citta Alta but is well worth a visit. It has a nice, relaxing atmosphere and a wide selection of beers - if you're into that thing 😁. The staff are really nice but, without doubt the star of the show is the food. I would safely say it is the best we've had anywhere in Bergamo and would highly recommend the burgers and pizzas.

16/07/2024: I recently had an amazing meal at this restaurant, which serves traditional food from the Valtellina region in Italy. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and comfortably air-conditioned, making it a great place to relax. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, without being intrusive. They recommended a fantastic local wine that went perfectly with our meal. The food was delicious and authentic. Recommend to try the Pizzoccheri (a local pasta dish, rare to find anywhere else in Italy), cold cuts, polenta, and the traditional tzigoiner (meat on a stick). On a more practical note: no parking on the premises, but there are some paying parkings nearby at just a few minutes walk (for a 2 hours stay, it's about 6 euros and generally safer than parking on the street). Overall, this is a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy genuine Italian, regional food that is not internationally known. Highly recommend!

18/08/2024: The best raw ham in the world! And even the other Friulian cured meats are no joke. Pure poetry 🤣 Among my favorite dishes is polenta with Chianina ragu. For us a fixed stop every time we are in the area. In my opinion it is better to book because you risk not finding a place considering the high quality especially compared to other offers in the area...

07/07/2024: Historic venue in the center of Bergamo furnished in a Christmas atmosphere all year round. Very kind staff, excellent food, in particular the local Angus steak is fantastic, as is the polenta, a strong dish for decades. Furthermore there is free parking, another notable thing. I will definitely come back, well done

07/08/2024: A place now famous throughout the Bergamo area which does not betray expectations in terms of quality. However, I found myself not particularly appreciating the service, more in the sales approach than anything else. The owner/substitutes know what they're doing, they know how to decorate their meat and wine offerings like I've seen done very few times, but with an insistence that I found quite cloying, bordering on unpleasant. I understand the desire and need to push their "flesh" (because calling it meat is not in fashion), but even responding almost piqued and annoyed if instead of meat you lean towards a first course or something else I find it truly inappropriate. First of all because these things are on the menu, so if you don't want to serve them don't even offer them (among other things they tell me that casoncelli are a source of pride, but if you prefer them to fat they get annoyed). Secondly, on the sign I read "trattoria", not steakhouse, not grill, not churrascaria or butcher's shop with refreshments. For me, trattoria means tradition, simplicity and above all promotion of the territory, something that inevitably you can't find in their opulent ribs, which are very good, but have nothing of Bergamo about them. I repeat, there is no harm in pushing a product which, among other things, certainly makes them earn a lot, but even getting annoyed if I prefer a plate of casoncelli and a platter of cured meats and cheeses to a 2.5 kg rib I find it absurd. Even more so if it's not even the first time you've come there to eat and you would like to try something else besides this blessed meat. An attitude, moreover, which risks ruining the whole experience which, I repeat, has a lot to offer in terms of quality. Sin

20/07/2024: They have the best artisinal beer and cider selection that we've encountered. Excellent vegetarian options for dinner. We loved the close attention paid to local products and creative combinations of flavors. 100 out 100!

20/07/2024: Ambiente fresco e visto afa esterno davvero perfetto per potersi godere le loro birre. Personale davvero gentile. Sanno raccontarti benissimo le loro proposte: birre, sidro e piatti davvero accattivanti ma non pretenziosi. Abbiamo assaggiato delle frittelle e di formaggio e miele spaziali. Birra e sidro hanno davvero rispettato le richieste che avevamo fatto. Pullet Pork gustoso con molto sapore. Pane tutto fatto in casa. Gelato artigiane dal gusto speciale. Siamo stati benissimo. Posto piccolino ma accogliente. Vicinissimo la Lazzaretto e Stadio. Assolutamente da tornarci per scoprire sempre nuovi menù.

06/08/2024: Very nice place, between the classic trattoria and a similar Hard Rock Café. For lunch, fixed menu. Ate very very well. The service includes water and bread.
