I go there 3-4 times a year for business lunches. The casoncelli are a classic; I've eaten them elsewhere, but the ones from Diago are excellent and never come back, despite their well-seasoned flavors. The main courses are varied and always satisfying. The service is prompt and friendly, and the lunchtime price is €15, excellent value. The village is tiny but charming, between Pontida and the Adda River, and in the summer it's cool and delightful.

The retro/rustic flavor of a proper hosteroa! Homemade, delicious, and typical food from our region! A very pleasant outdoor veranda in the summer, and an indoor fireplace in the winter! If you want to be pampered, this is your place...😊

Beautiful inn, welcoming and warm, from the decor to the fireplace. The appetizers were good, with cured meats, cheeses, and pickled vegetables. The casoncelli were good, but the beetroot risotto lacked Taleggio cheese. The donkey stew was good, and the cheek was much better. Good polenta, good wine.

A restaurant worth visiting in a village near Pontida to enjoy a delicious meal with a traditional menu, but not only that. The wine selection and friendly service are impressive. The prices are fair, and every penny is worth it. Reservations are essential. Parking is available for guests.

A typical osteria from the Bergamo province, but also close to Lecco, open for 120 years! Five-star food quality! The donkey stew is phenomenal! Knowledgeable and welcoming staff. The wine list is another highlight. Highly recommended.

20/03/2026: I went for dinner in the evening. It's an elegant, unique place, with good food and fast service. It has a distinctive glass window and fairy lights.
10/02/2026: We've dined there several times in the past few months with friends. The place is beautiful and well-maintained. The pizzas are very good. The waiters are very helpful, and, what's more, when you're there with friends, the bills are even separate. The only downside is limited parking, but if you plan ahead, it's not a problem.

13/04/2026: This is a must-visit, where I go whenever I have that irresistible craving for arancini. As soon as you step inside, you're transported to Sicily. So, make way for eggplant parmigiana, rustici, cassata, and Sicilian cannoli, to name just a few of the specialties on offer. The service is extremely friendly and thorough. All the various specialties, which are prepared on a daily rotation, are presented with passion. The prices are fair for the quality of the food available.
03/04/2026: I hadn't been for a few years and, overcome by a craving for arancini, I stopped a few days ago to get some arancini to take home.... And nothing, I'm still regretting having only bought 3.... I should have bought a pallet... SO GOOD. SPECTACULAR. Congratulations and keep it up
