20/08/2024: I don't think I will go back again and I don't recommend it. 70.00 euros for a double room are really too much for what the room offers, i.e. nothing. There isn't even air conditioning and you're dying of heat. The person who welcomed us at the entrance (a man) was incredibly rude, when you say the wrong person in the wrong place. In the morning I went to have breakfast at the bar inside the structure and at 8.00 there was already nothing left to eat, only packaged croissants. To be honest, I want to give a high rating to the canteen: the ladies who serve are very kind, the food is edible and costs little (8.00 euros for a complete meal). Rude amateurs for a place that has great potential but is unfortunately managed badly

16/08/2024: Very close to Gavazzeni Humanitas. Very friendly and helpful staff. In particular, I was pampered by the "mothers" in the canteen. They were as caring as a mother. The only flaw is the lack of air conditioning in the rooms (clean). Thanks for everything...I felt at home

07/08/2024: We happened upon it by chance one evening… and everything was absolutely perfect! The pizza is phantasmagoric, the best I've tried so far in the Seriana Valley. Even the grilled fish, excellent quality raw material. Very nice and welcoming owners! What can I say: we will really gladly return!

03/08/2024: Spacious and tidy place with convenient parking. Not very far from the city center. Friendly and welcoming service. Average prices but what makes the difference is the truly abundant quantity of the dishes, perhaps even too much. It offers cuisine, especially fish-based, simple but with well-executed dishes and decent raw materials. The choice of wines is also quite wide.

01/08/2024: The review does not concern a particular dinner or lunch but at least a dozen experiences at this restaurant including dinners for couples, family lunches etc.. Just having returned so many times is the first testimony to the quality of the food and service. The restaurant is furnished in a classic way, focusing heavily on white. I think it has a total of about 80 seats. In my experiences the food (almost always fish) is extremely good, well prepared dishes, fresh raw food, divine "Al Bacio" starter, excellent desserts. It offers pizzeria service. Service always top notch, nothing can be complained about. Average prices, but absolutely affordable. It should also be considered that they have not changed over the years. I have read some bad reviews which I can hardly believe about the quality of service and food. I can only imagine some delays on Friday and Saturday nights being a very busy restaurant. To conclude, absolutely recommended. Tried again for dad's birthday dinner on 07.31.2024, still an excellent dinner.

29/08/2024: I often choose Osteria Fieno d'Oro for my business meals. The value for money is very good, it is possible to choose a business menu with quality dishes or outside with more challenging suggestions. The careful and limited choice of proposals is a guarantee of the quality of the products and dishes served. The staff is extremely friendly and when necessary and you have tight deadlines you can enjoy lunch without spending too much time. In summary, excellent balanced dishes at a fair price in an informal but at the same time elegant location.

07/08/2024: The Locanda is a magical place that I would absolutely recommend when it comes to food: truly excellent, quality dishes, prices in line with the quality raw materials and the wonderful location, being right overlooking the lake. The staff, young, kind and helpful. The only negative note that doesn't make me give 5 stars concerns the room. I stayed for two nights and the room itself is very nice albeit with slightly dated furnishings, but the biggest problem was found in the mattresses: broken and uncomfortable. The double one has protrusions that stick everywhere, the single one is completely broken down, so despite the magical place, rest is really precarious... at night you wake up several times because it's uncomfortable and in the morning you get up sore and this leaves a a little disappointed because on holiday you would also like to relax as best as possible. Investing in changing the mattresses and replacing at least the toilet seat which is all stained, although clean, would make the Inn perfect in every aspect! With mattresses in that condition I can't recommend spending more than one night on them. Breakfast in the morning, not abundant, but essential. I recommend half board because the dinner options are truly exquisite, unforgettable. The room has a fan, no air conditioning. Another thing not to be taken for granted, dogs are welcome! I wish I could go back to introduce this enchanting place to other people but I will make sure the mattresses have been replaced :) Overall great experience.

06/08/2024: My husband and I went for lunch, they welcomed us with kindness and professionalism. Lovely place a few meters from the lake, we had a wonderful meal while admiring a beautiful view of the lake. You can access directly from the restaurant for a nice walk along the lake. Since there is also the possibility of staying, we think of returning for a weekend. Absolutely recommended place.

29/08/2024: Business lunch; good variety of menu and food combinations. For my colleagues' first courses, very good quantity and quality... for my second course I would have something to say about the "consistency" of my salmon steak and its side dish (baked potatoes). Staff always attentive and helpful.

12/08/2024: Nice little restaurant recently renovated professionally run by the owner/chef Andrea and his sweet wife Ramona.. The preparation and presentation of the dishes is very careful. The food is of excellent quality with an adequate choice of wines.. Very efficient staff and ready for every customer request.. Must try the seafood crudité... spectacular.. Absolutely recommended

Il cibo ottimo è molto curato e propone sia piatti della tradizione locale che piatti raffinati presentati con cura e serviti con gentilezza. Insomma ci si sente accuditi e si mangia bene. Ottima la scelta dei prodotti del territorio e stagionali. Ed anche i prezzi sono abbordabili. Da provare e frequentare.

03/08/2024: Very nice place to eat. Normal prices for a city like this but great quality in the products. A great place to enjoy a wonderful meal in Sorrento. The bathrooms are perfect witnesses of the cleanliness of the place. The setting is magnificent and captures the spirit of Victorian Sorrento. Without a doubt, if you want to have a good meal and ultimately a pleasant experience, this is the place.
