22/03/2026: To say I ate well is an insult to the cuisine. "Bentissimo" sounds better! We came for lunch on a Sunday. The place was welcoming, lively, and the service impeccable. The food was undeniably high quality: delicious appetizers, exceptional first courses, and enviable meat main courses.
A wide selection of homemade desserts was a must-have.
In short: applause to all the staff.

03/12/2025: The traditional Abruzzo seafood cuisine, with some truly unique offerings, was highly appreciated. The welcoming, intimate atmosphere and the friendly, welcoming owner made us feel at ease. We ordered a white wine that we felt should have been served colder, but the bottle was promptly placed in an ice bucket.

02/04/2026: We had ribeye and veal schnitzel, and unfortunately, it wasn't good for the price. I've had much better steaks for significantly less money. The schnitzel was unevenly cooked. Here, you're primarily paying for the restaurant's reputation. However, the wines are good, and the waiter gave us excellent recommendations.

23/12/2025: This campsite on Lake Maggiore absolutely delighted us. The location is simply unbeatable – just steps from the lake. Dogs are welcome (please check the website for the dates!). From our pitch, we had a fantastic view and could enjoy the sunrise over the water every morning. The campsite facilities are excellent: modern showers, always clean toilets, and even a small restaurant with delicious Italian dishes. What we particularly liked was the peaceful atmosphere, which makes the campsite an ideal place to relax, as well as its proximity to towns like Stresa, which can be reached in a short time. Perfect for anyone who wants to combine nature, tranquility, and comfort. A definite favorite for us!

21/03/2026: I've known this place for several years, and as far as drinks go, it's excellent.
We had dinner tonight, but it was a decidedly disappointing experience. Paying €15 for a burger is a rip-off when the burger you're served is dry, practically dry, with a slice of plastic cheddar still in its perfect square shape that the grill saw through binoculars.
I informed the waitress, who apologized and would let the kitchen know... I got to the cashier, and the same waitress who previously seemed sympathetic to the criticism was there to check out the bill. Well, not even a measly €1 off the total (€112!). A terrible experience, not to be repeated!

Truly a wonderful surprise. From the enchanting location to the lovely staff, to the delicious, carefully prepared, and high-quality food. I chose the vegan menu and was very satisfied. It's not easy to offer taste and quality while respecting vegan restrictions. Truly delicious. Congratulations. I absolutely recommend it, even for non-vegans, according to other diners. Thanks for the service 🙂

Impeccable table service, top-quality food and excellent ingredients, and a sublime atmosphere (especially if you book ahead and ask for a lake view). Prices are in line with the description above, averaging €25 per person for one course and one dessert, without wine or an after-dinner drink, of course.

15/02/2026: The spaces are housed in a beautiful villa, pleasantly located in the center of Gallarate. The interior spaces allow for a comfortable and intimate dining experience. The menu is multi-course, and guests can only choose their number. Any initial uncertainty about the limited number of courses quickly disappears thanks to the owner's expert management. The dishes offer simple yet distinctive flavors, perfectly complemented by the detailed explanations. This is definitely an experience worth trying and repeating.
