We were there at Easter, we chose it because they didn't impose a fixed menu but the daily menu had very little choice of first and second courses... The food was nothing spectacular but still good.

We've been there several times and have always had a great time.
Pleasant atmosphere, courteous and helpful staff.
The busecca is excellent, the nervetti are delicious, as are the other appetizers we tried.
The risotto with kidneys... spectacular!
Prices are reasonable for the quality of the dishes.
Highly recommended!

Typical Milanese restaurant famous for the quality of its meat, as a vegetarian I still found valid and tasty alternatives (the homemade ravioli with spinach and egg deserves a mention!!), kind and courteous staff, fast service.

To say I ate well is an insult to the cuisine. "Bentissimo" sounds better! We came for lunch on a Sunday. The place was welcoming, lively, and the service impeccable. The food was undeniably high quality: delicious appetizers, exceptional first courses, and enviable meat main courses.
A wide selection of homemade desserts was a must-have.
In short: applause to all the staff.

We were looking for some good, traditional Milanese cuisine, and we found it!
The mondeghili appetizer was delicious, well-made, and the veal tonné was particularly delicate in its flavors.
The risottos are the highlight for me. We tried the chef's risotto (at Umberto), tasty with balanced flavors, and the one with Bonarda and sausage, more robust and savory.
Next up was the bone-in cutlet, good, though the breading perhaps dominated the overall flavor.
