I migliori ristoranti di cucina italiana in Udine

29/04/2025: Desiderosi di assaggiare il prosciutto di San Daniele, siamo stati attratti dal menu con proposte diversificate. Il prosciutto ci è sembrato buono, ma più salato di come ci saremmo aspettati. Inoltre avevamo ordinato, come assaggio, un piatto di tagliolini alla trota affumicata (prezzo sugli 11 €) da dividerci in due: la cameriera ha ribattuto "quindi due mezze porzioni", senza specificare altro. Al momento del conto la sgradevole sorpresa: le due mezze porzioni ci sono state fatte pagare 8,00 € l'una, quindi applicando un aumento del 50% sul prezzo dichiarato! Abbiamo fatto presente il nostro disappunto e la giustificazione è stata che si tratta della loro "politica aziendale"... Trovo la cosa molto scorretta, ancor più dopo aver riscontrato che lo stesso inconveniente era già stato riportato in altre recensioni: quindi, poco trasparenti e pure recidivi!

26/04/2025: Ancora seduta al tavolo scrivo, e non per la prima volta (segno che ci ritorno spesso), una recensione di questo locale che resta una garanzia a San Daniele se si vuole gustare il prosciutto e non solo (magnifici i tagliolini con verdure di stagione). Cameriere molto accoglienti, attente e sorridenti. L'ideale per un pasto rapido ma non per pasti in cui si vuole allegramente temporeggiare. Perché allora solo tre pallini nella valutazione? Dolci con prezzo troppo elevato se rapportato a ristorazione di alto livello e pulizia non più quella di un tempo. Seduta non perfettamente pulita (perché liberando il tavolo dallo sporco è ovvio ricada sulla sedia se non si procede a sua volta a pulirla), una chiazza appiccicosa sul tavolo sulla quale ho incollato utilmente lo scontrino della comanda per non perderlo e pulizia perfettibile dei bicchieri; non è facile con tanto movimento di persone ma è fondamentale: insopportabile bere in bicchieri al calice non perfettamente puliti. A parte questi aspetti, facilmente risolvibili con un po' di impegno, continuo a consigliarlo.

20/05/2025: Basándonos en varias reseñas de Hendrick_NL, decidimos darle una oportunidad a este restaurante para el almuerzo. Y me alegro de haberlo hecho, porque nos demostró lo que es esencialmente la versión italiana de un restaurante estadounidense. Buena comida rápida a precios económicos. ¡Ahora entendemos dónde van los italianos a almorzar!

21/11/2025: Bad place If there's a girl with black hair and glasses behind the counter, if she knows you she'll give you a toast or chips, otherwise she won't.

18/11/2025: I recently visited the Pilsner Urquell pub in Udine, Italy, and was quite disappointed. Initially, I ordered a large beer, but was served a standard-sized portion in a wine glass—about 0.3 liters. When I ordered another one, I did receive a larger size, but the waiter didn’t inform me that they had changed the type of beer. This lack of transparency was quite frustrating. Overall, it was not the experience I was hoping for.

06/08/2025: Sempre eccellente.. antipasto di crudo crudo ed ancora crudo ottimo ed accompagnato da un favoloso wasabi. Pizze gourmet eccellenti, l’omaggio alla regina Margherita ha un pomodoro sontuoso.

24/07/2025: Personale sempre cortese ed attento, ci hanno trovato un tavolo in pochi minuti, purtroppo rispetto agli anni precedenti dove trovavo una giusta qualità con dei prezzi onesti, riscontro un aumento di prezzi ma una diminuzione della qualità almeno nel reparto ristorante.

04/12/2025: It had been years since I had been to Castelmonte. I remembered the lady who sold carob beans, fruit, sweets, and gadgets, up the little hill that leads to the church. We noticed this restaurant owned by the lady who sold the carob beans. We had an excellent strudel, and we met the lady who spoke of times gone by and of all the sacrifices she had made. She is still working, still lively, but it's a lovely little place. Bye, Aldo.

30/11/2025: Lunch around 2 pm on a summer Sunday, outdoors, sheltered from the traffic. A succulent, stringy frico with a side of fresh mushrooms. It's in an excellent location near the castle, with public parking nearby.

19/07/2025: Il personale è scortese, il cibo non è all’altezza dei prezzi ed è un altro posto dove si capisce che i bambini sono mal tollerati. Non ci torneremo mai più e faremo loro una pessima pubblicità.

24/11/2025: REPORTABLE! We went to this restaurant—if you can call it that—for Sunday lunch. When we arrived, we waited 20 minutes just to order: there were only two waitresses in the dining room, and the place was filling up quickly. For our first courses, we waited over an hour. When we asked for information, we were told, "They're plating up." Confident, we waited another 15 minutes... until we noticed that the tables that arrived after us were being served, but ours still hadn't. We asked for an explanation again, and the lady told us exactly: "I'm sorry, but your order hasn't arrived in the kitchen." In effect, our dishes would never arrive. No attempt to make amends, no alternatives, no concrete apologies. Nothing. We left, shocked. We arrived at 12:30, left at 2:20, without having eaten. A situation like this had never happened to me, and I hope it never happens to anyone. Avoid this place like the plague.

24/09/2025: Aside from having eaten an excellent "frico"...we especially appreciate the generosity shown. They sent us a cell phone, which we had forgotten, free of charge, and went out of their way to trace its owner. EXCELLENT BEHAVIOR!!!

20/11/2025: They promised us delivery within an hour. It arrived in 2 hours and 15 minutes. That's all.

27/08/2025: We ate at the restaurant today, and the servers were all very attentive and friendly! It was completely packed, but everything went quickly, and the food was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

19/08/2025: Breakfast was poor. Being Italians, we prefer sweet foods, but at this hotel, breakfast was mostly savory. They had more cold cuts than sweet options. Only two types of croissants, and rarely any cakes. Service was almost nonexistent. We constantly had to alert the staff when water and cups were out.

24/08/2025: The music was so-so. Check out the number of drinks they put on your note, because they tend to add 1 thinking you won't notice.

18/09/2025: We went to this Agriturismo for dinner. I have to say they're not very welcoming and service-oriented. It was just my wife and I, and we waited almost 10 minutes at the table just to order a drink, and another 10 minutes to order dinner. Luckily, the gnocchi with ragu and the polenta and fricco were good. The portions weren't huge, I'd say skimpy, but the food was good. We also wanted dessert or a second glass of Ribolla Gialla, but the wait was endless. Flies were everywhere, and the dogs weren't very clean, I'd say. The waitresses kept coming by and didn't pay any attention to us, so we paid and left. I recommend the managers take a course on how to improve service and reduce wait times for customers. It's a shame, but I don't recommend it.

06/07/2025: Posto in campagna, consiglio la prenotazione. Staff gentile. Aumenterei leggermente la quantità di prodotto nei piatti.

18/05/2025: Una bella azienda agricola a Pavia di Udine dove si mangia prodotti tipici friulani quasi tutti fatti da loro (visto che hanno anche le stalle) . Fanno anche gelati di propria produzione da provare assolutamente visto che il latte lo fanno loro! Parcheggio ampissimo ma a volte si fa fatica a trovare posto perché è sempre tutto pieno. Prezzi in linea con altri posti simili… consigliato!
