01/01/2026: 25 euros for a mixed platter for two. Price per 100g (it says 5.9 euros), but they didn't ask us how much we wanted. Salami, prosciutto, mortadella, and about 2-3 pieces of cheese included. So, I'm writing this because it might be helpful for someone. It's not my place, it's a bit narrow. The lady always walks in front of me and moves my chair. Other people don't. I don't know why. Anyway, I'm not happy.

27/08/2025: We ate at the restaurant today and the waiters were all very attentive and friendly! It was completely full, but everything was quick and the food was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

19/08/2025: Breakfast was poor. Being Italians, we prefer sweet foods, but at this hotel, breakfast was mostly savory. They had more cold cuts than sweet options. Only two types of croissants, and rarely any cakes. Service was almost nonexistent. We constantly had to alert the staff when water and cups were out.

03/11/2025: I stopped by this restaurant, which also has a bar, around 2 PM with my partner, to grab a bite to eat. I saw the window was empty and sad, so I asked if it was possible to have a toasted sandwich or even a simple sandwich. The lady behind the counter rudely told me no, she could make a sandwich, but emphasized "small." I asked if she had cooked ham because I'm pregnant, and looking up, she said only prosciutto and ossocollo (which I can't eat). I told her that unfortunately I couldn't eat both and if we could get something from the restaurant. She told us she'd have to see if there was anything left, but she didn't know. At that point, we left without a chance to eat. It seemed like we were bothering her when we just wanted to have lunch and bring in some "money" like normal customers; she obviously prefers not to work! Terrible behavior, I totally advise against it!

12/08/2025: The menu is limited, but all excellent. Fair prices and friendly staff. Dogs are welcome.

02/01/2026: We went in to ask for a table and were told to wait five minutes for them to set it up, but after 20-25 minutes we still hadn't been served. It would have been better to immediately say there was no availability (or be honest about the wait time) and there would have been no problem.

24/02/2026: We've been here several times in the past after hiking in the adjacent Bosco Romagno nature park, and I remember always eating and drinking very well. The road to get there from the main road is gravel, and the descent to the farmhouse is quite steep, but manageable. It offers a fantastic view of the eastern hills of Friuli, the so-called Collio, nestled among parks, woods, and vineyards. Highly recommended. We'll be back soon to enjoy the food, wine, and drinks.

13/10/2025: Homely, traditional Italian restaurant with a small menu. The terrace is especially cozy. The dishes are freshly prepared, conveying local flavors to a good standard.

12/10/2025: We waited half an hour for a plate of tagliatelle with San Daniele ham: it arrived undercooked and cold. Not recommended....

13/03/2025: Known for its karaoke with super DJ Aldo...comfortable place, friendly and welcoming staff, ample parking, stunning outdoor garden...really worth it!!!

02/09/2025: Anyone vacationing in these apartments will inevitably have to resort to self-service. The prices for a small seafood salad (€16) are quite high. Pizza (Neapolitan style, with its thick crust) costs €10-12.

04/08/2025: Som jag angav i rubriken så beställde vi en schnitzel men fick ett gigantiskt stort monster jag lyckades nästan äta upp men det blev omöjligt, men det smakade helt okej. Detta resturang besöket gick jag inte ensam utan med bekanta, INGEN var ens nära att äta upp. Vi rullade ut ur restaurangen fyllda till bredden men nord italiensk kalv. Sammanfattning: Helt okej mat, toaletten var sisådär, trevliga men långsamma servitriser.

18/01/2026: A location with a breathtaking view, a well-maintained atmosphere. Homemade, excellently prepared products. Good service. What can I say? If you're visiting the Sanctuary of Castelmonte (UD), this warm and welcoming osteria/bar is worth a visit.

04/12/2025: It had been years since I had been to Castelmonte. I remembered the lady who sold carob beans, fruit, sweets, and gadgets, up the little hill that leads to the church. We noticed this restaurant owned by the lady who sold the carob beans. We had an excellent strudel, and we met the lady who spoke of times gone by and of all the sacrifices she had made. She is still working, still lively, but it's a lovely little place. Bye, Aldo.

18/11/2025: I recently visited the Pilsner Urquell pub in Udine, Italy, and was quite disappointed. Initially, I ordered a large beer, but was served a standard-sized portion in a wine glass—about 0.3 liters. When I ordered another one, I did receive a larger size, but the waiter didn’t inform me that they had changed the type of beer. This lack of transparency was quite frustrating. Overall, it was not the experience I was hoping for.
