08/03/2026: Fish dinner for two. ...I expected better. We chose eggplant and fish parmigiana for our appetizer—a great idea, but too salty for me—and a raw fish dish. For our main course, baked turbot with a side of vegetables. It was good, but the bones were poorly boned; I found the bones. To finish, the dessert. Wine by the glass was overpriced for the winery offered (€6.00 a glass). My husband chose a second course, which was also poured into the same glass. We paid €153.00. The waiters were kind and friendly, but the service was a bit slow.

The place is impressive, with attention to detail. The owners are welcoming and the staff impeccable!
The food is excellent, prepared with love and skill, from the appetizers to the first and second courses of fish, as well as the pizzas: definitely a good value.

04/01/2026: We popped in by chance after a stroll in Erto. We stopped for lunch. (Without a reservation.) Exceptional welcome, exceptional service, but above all, the food is like a Michelin-starred restaurant, not an osteria... the prices are very reasonable... A stop is a MUST!!!

12/02/2026: Delicious food for the soul, you can truly feel it’s made with passion and care. We tried the tripe, the guancia, and some artichokes, and everything was absolutely yummy! 😋 If we come back to Trieste, this place will definitely be a must for us again.

11/03/2026: It's a bit noisy, but the food is great and it attracts people. As a huge plus, I would point out that I made a reservation outside of working hours and it was confirmed. There is a modest level of service, and they definitely deserve more.

The food is wonderful.
We've been going to this Chinese restaurant for decades now and we never go anywhere else.
They don't even put MSG in the place.
For me, it's the best.

08/01/2026: Spectacular corner in the historic heart of San Daniele.
Excellent Ramandolo, sublime Verduzzo.
San Daniele remains a one-of-a-kind gem, and its DOCG prosciutto deserves UNESCO World Heritage recognition. For these things, I declare myself absolutely anti-global. Long live Italy, an extraordinary food and wine paradise.

04/02/2026: Best pizzeria in Lignano. We've tried a few others but always go back to Arco. All the waiters are super friendly.
28/10/2025: We found it to be a very nice restaurant. Since we didn't go during peak hours, there was no wait; otherwise, I think it would be a maximum of 10 minutes if it was full. The staff was friendly, and the portions were large and very good.

04/03/2026: At least the third (or forth) time coming to buy wine from Gabriele.
As always it's amazing to see how involved and dedicated Gabriele is with what he does (presumably) best: excellent wine, genuine, authentic just grounded to the soil.
We enjoy his humor and his hospitality :-)

15/02/2026: Excellent service, very good homemade pasta (we had tagliatelle and blecs, both very good), and the frico with polenta was perfect. Fair prices, and a lovely, warm, and attentive atmosphere. I'll be back!
