21/07/2025: It was my first time in Carnia, and I was pleasantly surprised by everything: the places, the people, and the food. At the Osteria, besides having modern yet cozy rooms with lots of wood, they are very clean, comfortable, and beautiful. There's on-site parking. The breakfast is varied, with delicious, fresh, locally sourced products. I also ate very well, with excellent-quality local dishes. The staff was very friendly and attentive to detail. I highly recommend Osteria da Alvise!!!

15/07/2025: We attended an "aperitivo evening with canapés" on Thursday. The canapés, appetizers, and wine/drink pairings were excellent. Thanks to all the staff, especially Michael for his professionalism, courtesy, kindness, and attentiveness. We will definitely be back.

21/07/2025: Everything was wonderful❣️ Quiet and historic place, delicious food, and courteous and helpful staff. Even the bathrooms are well-kept and impeccable. Compliments to the two brothers who run it all; we loved it and will definitely be back.

31/07/2025: Excellent and refined cuisine. I chose the gnocchi with garden beets and Parmesan crisps. YUM. Very pretty plate. Impeccable service. The place is very well decorated, with an intimate atmosphere. Excellent value for money!

09/08/2025: Highly recommended! We ate outside; the food was very good and the staff was friendly. And something I don't usually find is a very comfortable table, especially when using a wheelchair. You'll usually find tables with a central leg or small ones.

16/07/2025: I popped in by chance, thinking of a quick snack. I saw toast, which I didn't know this bakery served. I have a sweet tooth for toast, and I like it well done—a seemingly simple thing, but now it's almost a given that I end up eating burnt toast with cold filling. Finally, a place where the well-done toast is truly well done, just the right size, and truly tasty, even down to the filling. It doesn't happen often. A must-try. I also recommend it for the variety of bread available.

09/07/2025: Entrega rápida, camarera amable y comida increíble. Después de la cena recibirás algunos bonos locos, como piruletas, ositos de goma y algunos licores. También nos dieron una bebida de bienvenida mientras esperábamos nuestra mesa. Muy amplia gama de comidas, nos ENCANTÓ.

19/07/2025: The food is very good, the portions are filling, but... they charge €2.50 per person for service. Even compared to other Italian restaurants, that's a lot. It's a shame, because otherwise I would have given it 5/5 and left a tip.

You can enjoy excellent, fresh fish dishes—always original and delicious, in my opinion—of superior quality in a small, historic restaurant in the heart of Trieste. Furthermore, not to be overlooked is the friendliness and professionalism of the owners, who embrace you with special attention and pamper you so you can truly feel at home, and this was greatly appreciated. What more can I say? I recommend it not only for the food but also for everything it represents.

09/07/2025: For lunch, La Kantinetta offers a variety of first and second courses, depending on the season. We had an excellent risotto with local radicchio and Montasio cheese, and a frico with polenta. The portions are generous, and the price is fair for the quality. The desserts are also exquisite. The owners' extreme courtesy and friendliness, combined with the tranquil and beautiful interior, made our lunch a truly special experience. Recommended.

16/07/2025: A very friendly chef who also spoke good German. The small dining room is very charmingly decorated, with references to Trieste's Austrian history. The food was very good, as was the overall impression of the restaurant. I would go back and highly recommend it.
