08/11/2025: Today we went to lunch in this restaurant together with Paco, a small dog. The cuisine is very well prepared and very good. The service and the staff are very nice and friendly. The place is very clean. We will be back. I recommend it.

28/02/2026: If you're looking for a slice of Sicily in Trieste, Taverna Montalbano is an excellent choice. The atmosphere is typical of old-fashioned trattorias, where substance matters more than form. The spaghetti with clams was fresh and flavorful, but the real highlight was the fettuccine with shrimp and pistachios. The only area that could be improved is the thermal comfort during the winter: unfortunately, many customers forget to leave the front door open when entering or leaving, allowing cold drafts to bleed through, which can be quite annoying for those eating nearby. Overall, it's still a very positive experience that I recommend to anyone seeking well-crafted, passionate Southern cuisine.

24/02/2026: Very nice taverna, with excellent food and service. The staff was really friendly, the food was really good. I would recommend visiting, and trying the scallops for starter they are great!

25/01/2026: I was looking for good prosciutto, and after some research, I found this place. We had a great time and a delicious meal. The prosciutto was excellent, melting in your mouth, as was the lard they offered us. The only downsides were the narrow table and the outdoor bathroom, which was uncomfortable, especially in the cold. Prices were average: around €30 per person for three. Recommended!

07/02/2026: Truly an excellent experience. A quaint restaurant with exposed trout farms, immediately conveying the freshness and quality of the produce. The trout is cooked to perfection, with simple yet carefully prepared and delicious dishes. The host is very friendly and welcoming, always available and attentive to making guests feel at home. The atmosphere is pleasant and authentic. A place definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

19/02/2026: We had lunch at Il Posocchino in Pordenone for a business lunch, which, honestly, was anything but a business lunch: the food was fantastic! For just €16, we enjoyed a full express meal, cooked to order, and there was also a menu with three fish dishes of the day, perfect for Lent. We had a great time: generous portions, top quality, and a perfectly fair price. Highly recommended.

14/02/2026: We had lunch at Posocchino and had a very positive experience. The entrance is through the bar, and the interior walls are decorated with numerous paintings of famous people eating: an original detail that makes the atmosphere both interesting and pleasant. We had a portion of battered sardines, a pacchero with scallops, a cjalcions, a coffee cream, and a portion of fritters. We also had prosecco, water, and a coffee. The bill was €57.50. The food was very good, carefully prepared, and of high quality; the only complaint is that the portions are rather small. The waitresses were very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Overall, I recommend this restaurant, especially for the quality of the ingredients and the welcoming atmosphere. Seating is limited, so I recommend booking in advance.

The atmosphere was perfect for a special evening, elegant yet warm and relaxing. The cuisine offers truly delicious local dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and impeccably presented. Each course was a pleasant surprise, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. The wine was also excellent, perfectly paired with the dinner, and the desserts were delicious, making the evening a perfect end. Special praise goes to the ladies working in the dining room: friendly, helpful, and always smiling. They made us feel welcomed and pampered throughout the evening, attentive to every detail without ever being intrusive. Professional yet genuine, they made a crucial contribution to making the dinner even more enjoyable and relaxing. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered. 19/01/2026: Hidden gem that's mostly visited by locals. The food is delicious. I had the bruschetta and the pasta tricolore which was full of flavour. It's a shame I didn't discover this until the last day of my trip. Would definitely recommend.

09/10/2025: A beautiful restaurant on stilts overlooking the sea, with a view (of course) of the Grado lagoon. The menu and wine list are varied, and the dishes are carefully selected and well-prepared. The staff is courteous and attentive. Prices are in line with the restaurant's character.

17/09/2025: A refined restaurant with a pleasant view of the lagoon. Attentive and helpful staff. Good appetizer selections, and the "Pinaccia" (a kind of seafood stew) with shellfish and mollusks is excellent. It has everything you could possibly want, dipped in an excellent sauce, served with crostini. One point less for the baked turbot, served with both potatoes and tomato, which created a somewhat watery base. Reasonably priced. Parking isn't always easy to find in the summer, especially on weekends.
