17/07/2025: An old trattoria serving delicious homemade dishes. I didn't see a menu, but the dishes are listed verbally, and you can sample several. There were five of us, and each of us ordered two half portions. We ended up sampling up to three different first courses each. The options included herb risotto, tagliatelle with mushrooms, pennette with sausage, and delicious pumpkin gnocchi that were worth the whole meal! Side dishes are available buffet-style, and included in the cover charge, I'd say. The side dishes included boiled potatoes, salad, radicchio, beans, boiled chicory, Russian salad, sweet and sour onions, and probably more I can't remember. For the main course, we ordered a taste of venison, and it was served with white polenta. Drinks are also included in the cover charge: they bring still and sparkling water and wine to the table by default. Everything was delicious, and the price was reasonable for the service (about thirty euros per person)!

For us, this is a restaurant close to our hearts, a place we've been happy to return to for years. All the friends we've brought have raved about it. A guarantee!

02/08/2025: Locale molto curato, situato sulla via pedonale centrale di Lignano – ideale per una passeggiata prima o dopo cena. L’atmosfera è accogliente e il personale si è dimostrato estremamente gentile, cortese e disponibile per tutta la serata. Abbiamo cenato tra amici e siamo rimasti davvero colpiti dalla qualità del cibo: antipasti, primi, secondi e dolci, tutto buonissimo e ben presentato. I sapori erano autentici e ben bilanciati. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo: ogni piatto vale pienamente il costo. Esperienza decisamente positiva. Se avrò occasione, ci tornerò volentieri!

31/07/2025: Excellent restaurant. Rustic and quaint, yet elegant. Very good, refined, and generous dishes. The lava stone dish is interesting, but unfortunately we didn't try it this time, but we'll be back! The staff is friendly and attentive to their needs. In the warmer months, it's lovely to dine at the outdoor tables, which offer a wonderful view of the surrounding hills. Truly a lovely place!

27/07/2025: We had a wonderful time at Trattoria Al Plan di Paluz. The setting is magnificent, peaceful, with a beautiful terrace surrounded by greenery—perfect for relaxing. The welcome was warm and the service very attentive from start to finish. As for the food, everything was delicious and generous. A special mention goes to the hot stone cooking: a unique and friendly experience, ideal for savoring tender and well-seasoned meats. The dishes are homemade, using quality ingredients, and the flavors are impeccable. A big thank you to the entire team for this wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

21/07/2025: It was my first time in Carnia, and I was pleasantly surprised by everything: the places, the people, and the food. At the Osteria, besides having modern yet cozy rooms with lots of wood, they are very clean, comfortable, and beautiful. There's on-site parking. The breakfast is varied, with delicious, fresh, locally sourced products. I also ate very well, with excellent-quality local dishes. The staff was very friendly and attentive to detail. I highly recommend Osteria da Alvise!!!
