02/06/2025: What a great and fun Osteria this is! We had a delicious meal there and the red house wine goes well with the meal. There is no menu but the waiter gives a summary of what is on offer that day. Absolutely friendly and fast service which certainly contributes to a successful evening. Reservations are a must otherwise there is a chance that there will be no more space. It is located in a quiet street with an outdoor terrace and parking is possible directly nearby.

15/06/2025: We ate some excellent pizza topped with excellent service and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Very kind and friendly staff, really good dishes from appetizer to dessert and more than honest prices! Highly recommended, we will gladly return!

30/06/2025: Very nice, unique with its almost improvised decor (nothing by chance). Traditional food from the past made as it once was. Really worth trying. We will definitely be back.

09/06/2025: Prenotato per la prima volta abbiamo pranzato molto bene e bevuto altrettanto bene. Piacevoli le varie portate di assaggi di prodotti locali da gustare insieme al prosecco offerto. Gnocchi di patate eccellenti e coniglio strepitoso. Vini di qualità anche extra Friuli. Dolci all’altezza delle portate precedenti. Simpatica l presentazione del menù fatta dal proprietario anche se per qualcuno potrebbe essere un po’ eccessiva. Ci tornerò volentieri

03/06/2025: Easily accessible on a Historic Route! Excellent Friulian Cuisine (Cjarsons and Frico not to be missed!!), Very kind and fast Service. Beautiful Rooms as well as one carved into the mountain. Ask for Mr. Flavio or his Wife. Better to book.

05/07/2025: I would like to point out the saffron ingredient for pizza which is not easy to find☝️ The environment seems banal at first glance but tables and chairs are of excellent workmanship, as an appetizer they served us excellent "bag style" chips so thinly cut but made here. Recommended place.

06/06/2025: We've been to a few restaurants in Lignano, even ones where people have to queue for a table. But this cozy restaurant is an insider tip. The best lasagna, the best pizza, and the best tiramisu. It's a matter of taste, of course, but we thought it was fantastic. The atmosphere is pleasant.

03/06/2025: I went to this restaurant for the first time. The wait for the order was unacceptable then the dishes arrived and they hadn't taken the order for the drinks, after 45 minutes of waiting for a sole for a child they brought it but inside it was still raw, but the shocking thing was that the waitress continued to insist on the fact that it wasn't by arguing. It's ridiculous that even today they make you wait hours for a dish for children

05/07/2025: Extremely rude. I would suggest giving your business to someone else. Very unfriendly. I think I would be generous if I said that they gave us 3 seconds to speak to them. There’s being weary of tourists, and then there’s just being a straight up unkind human. Do better because the rest of the restaurants around you have been nothing but lovely. Absolute waste of time.

05/07/2025: Walked in and the owner wouldn’t even let us in saying they were booked. Simply looked at us and said nope and goodbye. Would recommend any other place here.

06/06/2025: We had lunch here, and I have to say it was a vacation. A typical Italian small family restaurant. The food was good... not outstanding, but really good. It was a bit lacking in seasoning, and there was nothing on the table to add more seasoning. The portion was great and the price was great. We would definitely come back.

18/05/2025: I had the pleasure of dining in an excellent Apulian restaurant where traditional cuisine is the protagonist. The manager and his wife were very kind and welcoming, making the experience even more pleasant. We enjoyed fresh orecchiette, rich appetizers and truly exquisite meat, all prepared with great care. Also not to be missed is the bulk wine, a Primitivo with an intense flavor and perfect to accompany the meal.

14/05/2025: Abbiamo scelto queso storico Borgo 🏘️ dell’Alta pianura Friulana per ….. svagarci un po’ , osservare 👀 qualche scorcio naturale 🌲 , dare un’occhiata 👁️ a qualche spunto architettonico offerto dalle Chiese ⛪️ e ….. “ last but not least “ assaggiare i Piatti di questa affermata Location culinaria ! Una bella giornata di sole 🌞 poi …. ha favorito senz’altro la predisposizione alla scoperta del luogo e con essa anche ai piaceri del palata …. Per raggiungere il posto , ci siam fatti guidare dalle indicazioni 🗺️ del navigatore dell’auto 🚗 e quindi tutto è risultato un po’ più facile salendo tra le strette stradine dell’abitato 🏘️ …. Intrigati da un bel fiorito 🌺 cortile interno …. , abbiamo deciso di bere un Prosecchino 🥂 seduti fuori e quindi - dopo qualche minuto di relax - ci siamo accomodati al nostro tavolo in Sala ( già prenotato da giorni ) . Arredamento interessante anche per via di alcuni originali quadri 🖼️ alle pareti , organizzazione dei tavoli a modo , tovagliato e posaterie idonee , servizio ( concretato anche dallo stesso Titolare ) molto preciso e garbato , Piatti locali gustosi : questi sono stati i Topic a mio avviso ! Sinteticamente : una delicata “ Overture “ , dei Gnocchi di borragine e dei Strozzapreti con pesto sono stati i Primi prescelti , mentre la Tagliata e lo Stracotto d’asino con la polenta i Secondi …. Il tutto “ annaffiato “ da dell’ottimo vino Merlot ( il BIGAI della Az. Agr. Ermacora di Premariacco ) che ha corroborato non poco il cannarozzo ( gola ) !! Due Dolci 🍰 molto ben presentati hanno chiuso poi il Convivio , unitamente al caffè ☕️ finale ed ad un’ottima “ SNIAPUTE “ ( Grappino in lingua Friulana ) 🥂 !! Sintesi : siamo stati davvero bene e soddisfatti dell’ottima scelta fatta !! Bravi 👏 !

29/06/2025: I went for lunch one day of the week. There was a fixed price menu (typical for workers) with classic Italian cuisine and the one with their sandwiches. Very good hamburger, well-cooked meat, crispy and dry fries. The place has a lot of American style (napkin holder, no tablecloth, ...). It's just a shame that they only serve Brunch on Sundays, I came from far away and would have gladly tasted the typical breakfast.

26/06/2025: We chose the Western House in Aviano to organize meals during an important meeting with our sales force in the company and we were extremely satisfied. The service was impeccable: punctual, attentive to the needs of the group and with an excellent quality of the dishes offered. The availability and professionalism of the staff contributed to making the experience even more positive. A super thank you from our entire team 😊

19/06/2025: A bit noisy at night, as it's located right next to the SS13. Ideal for commuters and cyclists.

17/06/2025: I can only recommend the café, which has a lovely terrace with shady trees. They serve a very good café, which is why I stop in every time I drive past. The wonderful aperitifs are also highly recommended.
