Absolutely fantastic! A traditional Italian restaurant in the Italian countryside, 200 km north of Milan. The owner is welcoming and her dishes are divine.

Quality comes at a price, and those seeking high-quality food and drink, excellent service, a historic/artistic/monumental medieval setting (where the 1985 film Ladyhawke and the 1968 TV series The Black Arrow were partly filmed), and an exceptional view of the town/valley/plain—all combined—can't go wrong with Taverna del Falconiere. First course, second course, side dish, dessert, nocino liqueur, coffee, plus bread, water, and a half liter of excellent red wine, €54 per person. Includes a tour of the building and a chat with the owner about historical and artistic topics. And no reservations required.

The food was good but average, and the service and welcome were a bit cold. What left us speechless was the €3.50 cover charge per person and a single coffee for €4.00. In my opinion, the view and location don't justify these prices.

Beautiful restaurant next to the cathedral. Family atmosphere, very friendly staff, and fast service. The veranda offers a beautiful view.

Beautiful historic location with a truly enchanting dining room overlooking the valley. The appetizers, first courses, and second courses were truly excellent!!! The peach and custard tart is unbeatable, a 10/10!!! They even lit the fireplace! What can I say? If you're passing through, it's definitely the best! I recommend making a reservation.

10/05/2026: Excellent home cooking, simple and not too elaborate, ideal for those who eat out every day. The staff is very kind, friendly and very helpful, they make you feel at home, and the lunch hours are very flexible.
08/05/2026: Finally a restaurant for truckers... the price/quality ratio was right... the canelloni were delicious... the waitress was very kind and super nice!!
