13/07/2025: We've been to Lo Scoiattolo several times over the past few years, both for Sunday lunch after a hike in the hills and for a summer dinner al fresco. We often return because the food is simple, the restaurant is rustic, and Oliviero is always smiling and ready to chat. The anolini are fantastic.
08/07/2025: Good tortelli, shame about the shocking treatment.
During the Tortellata, we were asked at least three times if we wanted a second course.
We always replied calmly and politely that we'd decide later.
One waitress's response? "Oh no." (Theatrical pause). To my question, "No what?" she replied, "No, otherwise the service continues."
Never in my life have I been practically forced to order a second course, as if we were in the way.
No clear communication.
The owner had talked about tortelli as if they were bringing, in his words, "plenty of them," but evidently that only applies if you order quickly and consume everything within their time.
Rude, intrusive, and completely disrespectful.
If you want people to spend a certain amount at your place, you should have put a menu, not tried to force them to order multiple courses!
Never again!

16/07/2025: Twelve of us had dinner this evening. We were treated wonderfully, and enjoyed excellent, carefully prepared food paired with excellent wine. We also enjoyed the company of the owners and the service staff, who were all friendly and eager to accommodate our requests. We had a pleasant evening. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food served. We will definitely be back.
01/06/2025: You are clowns, shame on you! I booked a table for four for Sunday, June 1st, when I arrived at the restaurant I discovered that it was closed. They confirmed my reservation, no one notified us customers. There were several of us outside the restaurant. Absolutely disgusting. You are pathetic.

High prices, even for a takeout Margherita!

11/08/2025: Very friendly restaurant. We arrived a little late, but they still took very good care of us.
I had excellent pasta dishes, and I highly recommend them.

12/08/2025: Passing by, we were seated, even without a reservation. The place is beautiful and welcoming, filled with objects, with beautiful paintings on the walls, artfully furnished, tidy, and clean.
A kind lady welcomes us and immediately puts us at ease.
The menu offers what you'd expect here: a good selection of cured meats accompanied by the ever-present torta fritta, and a homemade giardiniera, a cheese board with honey and jams, exceptional tortelli with herbs, all washed down with a good local red wine.
The bill is proportionate to the high quality of the products offered.
I recommend it.

15/08/2025: We stopped for an aperitif...I'd say it's a truly refined location with a wide selection of wines...the interior isn't very spacious, but the rooms are charming...it's located right in the center, so it's easy to get to...park first, and you can get a seat first...
Classic aperitif...Excellent value for money.
I highly recommend it, it's worth it in any season.

12/07/2025: I stopped by to get some takeout pizza and didn't think I'd need to pay to feel sick.
The pizza was more like a focaccia, smothered in oil and topped with a reprehensible and aberrant tomato sauce—you either don't put it on or you put it on! Not to mention the sausage on top, cold and, most importantly, raw.
An insult to the word pizza.

16/05/2025: How do you turn a nice moment like an aperitif with colleagues into a reason for nervousness for the whole day? Simple, just go and eat here. I ordered a salad with olives and one with a stone ended up between my teeth, causing me a lot of pain because I accidentally bit it. Things that, for goodness sake, can happen, but after having kindly pointed it out, mostly to make sure they would warn future customers that there could be stones in the salad, I felt treated with condescension, annoyance and mocked by the attitude of the girl who served us. Quoting her: "it can also happen that you find a piece of wood in the pizza, we don't have to write it on everything" and no, it shouldn't be like that, and above all you shouldn't respond in that tone to a customer who simply said that they hurt their tooth eating at your place. Truly impolite responses and attitude. Needless to say, they won't see me again, and I will dissuade anyone from going to this place.
15/05/2025: Ottimo locale nel centro di Parma. Ottima pizza, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Prezzi nella norma. Merita una visita.
